That 3 way fight scene in Falcon Rising was great, but my favorite bit with Lateef in that movie was the street fight with him against some punk, with his cops buddies watching. I loved that scene because Lateef used a more street fighting type of capoeira, with more arm techniques and less flashy dancing moves. It really showed how capoeira could be used more realistically as a fighting art. At the end of the fight, though, he used one hell of a sweet front cartwheel kick!

Great episode! I first saw Lateef in Falcon Rising with Michael Jai White and, man, he stole every scene he was in! A solid actor as well as a great martial artist.

I remember asking Lateef (pre covid of course) that, if I was to embark on a little stuntman's pilgrimage, that he'd be willing to give me a lending hand. What a swell guy, probably one of the realest out there!
Thank you Lateef if the opportunity ever arises!

He had the strongest kick in that show about the science of fighting, and kicks were tested from different disciplines. There's an easy looking flow to his delivery, it all has to do with the transition of force through the movement, which delivers the power when making contact

He wasn't actually in the episodic one, that was ML Legacy. He was in rebirth which got Legacy green lit, mostly due to his fight scene with Matt Mullins. Short, but sweet scene.
