System failures like this at least let you know that he's actually playing live. It happens.
I was there, it was because of his fw800 shaking loose due to the bass. I was stage left dead in front and it was next to impossible to breathe unless you did so in between bass hits for how strong it was. How he handled that situation was beyond professional and really shows what a showman he actually is.
This is what happens when you have enough bass to dislodge a firewire cable from your gear. Nothing actually crashed otherwise, simply unplugged and had to be restarted.
