Looks great and seems to work pretty darn good. And it is actually made of scrap instead of remnants of new steel.

Working on something similar atm, also scrap so still need a bearing or 2 and also at least 1 sprocket.
If you take the ends of the sheet and give them a nice bend by having it just touching both bottom rollers and clamping down the top one before you curve the rest of it you will get less flat sheet on the ends. Takes some trail and error but works.
For that reason i wont be putting my rollers closer together, infact im putting them wider. Have real big pipe for rollers, so will have to experiment a bit.
Hope you are still at it!

Nice job! Great ingenuity. I am impressed with the fact that you go a further step to show how to even make it better. Bravo!

Thanks, my brother did a great job building this!
We always try to share what little knowledge we have and also maybe someone will learn from our mistakes.
Can't wait to put it to use!

Nice build. I grew up using scrap out of the pile. It is amazing what a person can use if ya got the want to.

Yes it's amazing what you can find in a scrap pile. However I think we need to restock ours cause it's getting sparse lol
      Thanks for watching

The 2 bottom rollers each carry 25% of the load. The top roller carries 50%. Having a stronger top roller is important.

Fantastic build, one of these is on our build list. I am surprised the top roller started to flex. If you went with a two inch top roller do you think that would overcome the issue of the flat bits at the end?

Yeah we were surprised that the top roller started flexing. I don't know if a 2" roller on top would make a difference or not, we have a idea of puting a stationary rod between the 2 bottom rollers, we think that might help to roll the ends of the metal. I will probably do a update video on it when we fix it
