Yes , It's true Yamaha engines are for lifetime and never failed you in middle of the road , I'm riding on Fz-S from more than 10 years But it's still as good as it was before 10 years 👍👍👍👍
Ya same here I hv first lot SZ, still rolling young ..... Yes yamaha
Dominar hv kTM engine
Mine is a 2009 model FZ16
As an owner of both Bajaj and Yamaha bike,
Cost of Maintenance is less and dependability is more on Yamaha
True
Owned the FZ-S for 5 years. The bike became a part of my mindset. Long rides were a breeze. Now Im going in for the FZ 25. Once you FZ, you never un-FZ!
I Agree 👍
I'm also die hard YAMAHA fan Sir... Presently I have FZS bs3 and R15 V3 BS4.... I had R15 V1 few years ago and I love YAMAHA ❤️🔥
Although a crisp review, at the end of the day we ride the vehicle and not the spec sheet. I still own Yamaha FZ V2 for more than 5yrs and my friend sold his Dominar within an year as he faced refinement issues. Yes ! Price justifies reliability. You're going to be owning the bike for long run.
Totally agree. Dominar's built quality can never match Yamaha FZ which has thicker front forks and rear tyres
That's the reliability of Yamaha.👌👌👌❤️
I have FZ V3 bs4.
Yes. Proud owner of FZ25 2019 Dual-channel ABS variant.
Agree with you brother, me too own a fz-v2 for almost 7yrs, still have it and now thinking about upgradation. The engine build quality always better than any Indian companies, if you wanted to keep your bike for a longer period I think yamaha is the better option.
Japanese bikes reliability is unmatched, Bajaj uses KTM tech on their bikes as it's manufactured side by side. Lots ppl have issues with dominor build quality
Just because D250 is from Bajaj, people are degrading it. For the price tag of 1.88 lakhs on road, I would definitely say it's value for money with multiple features included. Coming to engine part it's a refined version of KTM 250 engine with 6 gear transmission. Yamaha loses out lots of features which D250 is providing, and comes at price bracket of 1.78 lakhs on road. People can complain D250 for it's huge kerb weight of 180 kgs, but for an experienced rider he wouldn't even feel it and weight adds high stability in touring especially in highways.
Exactly, these city riders would never know how much the stability of bike matters on highways on high speed especially going past heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses.
@@shyam2308 Rightly said !!
D250 my choice if rear Tyre 250 section
We would like to see Fzs 25 and in all 3 colours. Specially white.
Sensible and neat. Liked the comparo! Cheers Dino!
I m getting bike reviews+English knowledge as well ,ty bro that's why I love ur channel
Should we really compare it. YAMAHA anytime! Proud YAMAHA FZ owner. Works like a charm even after 12 years and clocking 80000 Kms. Trust me. You will enjoy FZ25 even after 5 years or even 10 years of the purchase and also the maintenance is far cheaper and easier as there are not many sensors unlike KTM's (and BAJAJ).
Totally agree with you ...👍👌
True.. these Bajaj fanboys never accept the fact that even fz150 is better than pulsar 150 in many aspects.. it lasts forever...
@@lonerider6945 100% true bro
@@lonerider6945 pulsar is way too dated product.....Once i use to like the design but now I would like to go with other brands....
Wooowww... Dino Bro... A mind-blowing and truely geniune Comparison you have beautifully portayed here. I readily count on you. Lovely moto vlog! Hats Off! Just one more small request from my side, Could you please make a comparitive pros-cons review of Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Dominar 250 ? I would be gratefull ...:)
FZ might be weaker, but the lower weight makes it way better than the heavy dominar in city. Not to mention, better low end acceleration
Dominar will be more stable than FZ during high-speed cruising...
@@vijayakumarrajan99 definitely, for highways the dominar is better hands down. Higher weight, 6th gear, 4 valve dohc engine for less stress in high revs.
I like dominor ., bcoz dominor matching bullet weight 180kg
Actually weight is not an issue, if we indians love bullets and if we can manage bullet through traffic, then definitely dominar 250 is also manageable
I am a royal Enfield owner and I have no problem for controlling a bike with weights 194 kilograms. If you can get experience a lot then wait is not at all and
@@akshayramachandran4150 manageable, and being a con is something else. It is a con, managing it is a different story. But, yes you can manage.
Very good and unbiased review. I recently bought a FZ25. The bike needs a 6th gear. There is no sidestand/engine cut-off for safety. I am still getting accustomed, after riding a twin-cylinder Honda Nighthawk 250 for more than 10 years ! (I preferred the Honda's engine and gearbox) Otherwise, so far, so good. Trinidad & Tobago.
I just bought dominar 250 no regret don't worry about the weight once you are on the road you won't even feel it i agree 💯 on the road presence trust me
How's the torque pull bro.. Is there any issues while two people on board...
True
I brought dominear 250 no regret
I have , no regret.. ❤️
Bro I like the dominar 250...but I have heard that bajaj's build quality is not up to mark...and it's engine also don't last longer...
As Dino says that FZ25 feels faster till 60 kmph, FZ25 would suit people who mostly ride in city and occasionally hit highways. Dominar 250 is for people who love to travel long distances.
like your empty brain !!!
Exactly
Loved it when you said about backing our Indian Manufacturer ❤️😍
Waiting for this long long time 😀
A big big fan of your’s and the detailed review you provide god speed cheers🍻🍻
Honest and fair review 👍✌️ God bless u ✌️
I was waiting for the video eagerly...love u dino
Thanks for supporting Indian brand ... overall comprission was very informative ...
I really like the analysis, honesty and impartiality of this video, because Dino Sir owns a Yamaha R3 and still gave the win to Bajaj Dominar otherwise many youtubers favor the company their bike is from.
I am the owner of fzs.....v3..
I like ur last word ..
YAMAHA ENGINE LAST FOR LIFETIME N NEVER FAIL US
Thanks Dino sir,I booked a D250 last Saturday and now I am happy thatyou too share my thoughts of backing our indian makers...and nonetheless the D250 is a damn good machine
@KARTHIK mileage janna chahte hai kya sirji???
Very crisp and to the point. Great comparison Dino
love your voice dino
love and support keep growing god bless you
Dominar 250's increased power and torque make up for its weight. It clearly has an advantage over the FZ25 when it comes to long distance touring. And those who cry about the quality haven't seen the Dominar 400 2020 .Great verdict at the end. You are fantastic as always Dino Sir.
Dominar ❤❤unbeatable ❤❤
My odo is now 19thousands Kms.. No major issue I have faced yet ❤❤dominar is an amazing machine ❤❤stability n power is awesome

Brilliant review!
Hi Dino, great review. Can you do a Gixxer 250 and Domi 250?
Regards.
I had a proffessor who talked exactly like you. Same voice, same accent. Based on that i imagined how you look. Yep. You look exactly like him, too😁
Please also tell performance in the hills such as which one requires more gear shifts during climbing hills. And also the sweet spot i.e. the speed which they can comfortably maintain all day long.
Very nice n honest review. Proud to be a Yamaha fz s owner. Thanks
Brother do a mega comparo of 160 cc bikes
Gixxer, Xtreme, apache, pulsar 160ns....
Waiting waiting waiting for thisssssss 🍷😍
I own a Yamaha fz25 (2017) model. It's a good tourer.
Very informative vid brother. Kindly do a comparo of all the 250 cc motorcycles available in India with a special focus on how the motorcycles feel to ride and own. Specifications are good to know but do not fully reveal how a particular vehicle feels on the road. Thanks again.
Me too have fz25 17 model
Hey Dino,
My vote -> Yes Yamaha. I'm a proud owner of the FZ25 and find the only thing lacking to be a 6th gear (cruising). Rest, no heating issues, no astronomical maintenance bills, more than decent fuel economy & it's flickability in city conditions & reliable engine. Don't for a minute regret purchasing it!!
Its not about 2017 ,
Its about 2020 with many 250 competitors.
And u need not to regret abt ur purchase..,
But need to think wisely if u considering to buy it in 2020...
how much u get mileage?
Broo.. plz include gixxer 250 and duke250 toooo😁😁😁🤩
Marvelous comparo video...best best
Hi Sir, now the FZ25 is almost 26K cheaper than the Dominar 250. The idle cruising speed on Indian Roads being anywhere around 100 - 110 kmph also with FZ25 having more comfort and relaxed riding. Do you still stand with same verdict
Dino bhai, how does the headlight of the FZ25 compare to the tried, tested and proven unit of the Domi? I do night shifts, hence headlight spread and throw are of paramount importance. Also, being on the wrong side of 30's I am no longer a fan of vibes. What do you suggest?
Clear and precise 🧡
Excellent words dinos bhai love 💔 you 💓💓💓🔥
Even with 27bhp dominar clocks 140km/hr just lyk fz25 ... Even with oil cooled system fz25 doesnt have any heating issues ..So dnt be a spec sheet freak guy.. Think about the real world too...
I would anyday pick FZ as Japanese brands are known for their quality and Bajaj's service is also not trustworthy and lacks engine refinement in comparison to Yamaha! And if you're looking more for daily commute and occasional long tours then FZ 25 must be a better choice!
Fz is way ahead of dominar, real world usage is different from spec sheet.
What about the tik tik noise from yamaha engines? I have read a lot of bikes having that issue and yamaha says it is normal.
@@roninr8199 i own fzs v3 bs4 version and there's no such noise from its engine.
@@roninr8199 ya i own FZ25, its a common problem in fz25, but it doesn't affect any performance, it doesn't have 6th gear and lack in top speed that is the only issue
Hope to see review of Gixxer 250 bs6 in coming days.. make it happen sir♥️♥️
Sir I liked your videos sir there simple awesome do more Nd more sir
Dominar 250 vs Gixxer 250 please comparison please. Also, a detailed review of Gixxer 250, not the SF, the naked version.
FZ 25 daily commute bike... Engine long-lasting...Less weight...Better low and Mid range performance...Best 250cc bike for daily use
Solid Review...I agree with Dino on all points except Dominar looks dated in front of FZ
Please make a comparison video between Suzuki Gixxer 250 bs6 vs yamaha fz25 bs6...!!
Can we change the Domi 250 tyre size to 140 ?? If yes what are the pros and cons ??
Interesting and useful.
Thanks
Excellent unbiased comparo. Can you enlighten me about the rider/pillion comfort of both bikes🙏
Comfort is much better in Dominar
In regards to tyre i think in dominar 250 you get either mrf's or eurogrip randomly, as in the video we can see the dominar has eurogrips.
I would go with Dominar 250 for its value for money package and for its look
I have FZ25 an year old.
Very sharp acceleration.
Uniform torque band throught the rev range.
Even in the fifth gear can over take.
Cheap to maintain as it shares parts with FZ.
Can cruise all day at 110-120 @8000 RPM which is quite below the REV LIMITER 9200 RPM.
REMARKABLE RIDER and PILLION COMFORT.
For indian road conditions it is not recommended to go beyond 120 in any bikes.
90-95% of my ride is in the city and it offers excellent suspension and mileage.
Headlight is poor though. Can improve on that.
Can ride it hard and rough. It can withstand.
It doesn't need liquid cooling as its compression ratio is not as high as Dukes (be rational).
Even in bumper traffic I don't feel any heat.
POCKET FRIENDLY MAINTENANCE.
It is the acceleration and torque that give the excitement which it has as the STRONG LOW and MID RANGE.
It is YAMAHA.
Excellent campero thanks.
Unbiased review vocal for local 👍🏼
for me I love fz25 since I always go on rural road low n midlle is a must
I mean liquid cooling is a great feature. But even with oil/air cooling the fz25 doesn't have any heating issues
Still that bike is economy friendly but as it is power is not that much ...
Yes I agree with you
If this old school engine does the job and lasts for a longer period of time then I would definitely prefer Yamaha's air/oil cooled engine over 4 valve liquid cooled .
Yes. Not only that the refinement of Yamaha is far superior to any other one, besides Gixxer 250. Quality of parts and also consistent mieleage and unparalleled balancing of FZ is👍. 27 kgs weight difference is a big factor. The side stand in FZ is meticulously designed with ergonomics. Dominant still has issues with side stand not functioning properly specially during the rainy season.
@@alankritdevcharan6103 Just imagine RX100. Even though it's a 2 stroke, but nobody could design a bike like that in India. Yes Yamaha.
@@debopriyoroy still ride that beauty, 1987 RX100, single owner, just love it.
I dont know why all are complaining about the weight of domi 250.
We indians love RE BULLET AND CLASSIC. It weights around 190 to 200 kg. Max power that produces is around 19 to 20 ps.I have seen many of us taking the bike to touring and even for daily commutes. If we are able to handle a royal enfield in our cities, its damn sure that we can also control a 180 kg dominar 250😘
Dino ..said as perfect ...
Everything
Perfect
Dino sir. Please make a video about the best bike for both CITY and TOURING usage. We are expecting a comparo atleast just a opinion video comparing every aspect if all the bikes are not available to shoot in a single video. I am confused between Dominor 250 and 400 mostly. Will purchasing a Domi 250 make me feel underpowered or will leave me wanting more like Domi 400 down the years ahead. Or Domi 250 is good enough bike for TOURING with no performance crunch
Thanks in advance.
♥️💞♥️
Would like to wait for your comparo between FZ25 & RTR 200.. before I book..
Go for RTR 200 bs6 bro , You will enjoy it and you will never regret I Guarantee and you also gets Bluetooth connection calls/ turn by turn navigation ,and many features and also same top speed as FZ 25, But its all about you.
Me too
@@GGamez-th9or Yep but I prefer a bike with upright sitting position also I am looking for a bike that will be good for long term (atleast 7-8 years) usage.. that's why thinking if RTR will suit..
Yeah.. Waiting for same comparo... Fz25 vs rtr200 bs6.. Which will be best for city usage & a little highway usage & also engine refinement in longer term.. Which will be more better.
@@maheshkrishna342 "city usage & a little highway usage & also engine refinement" - FZ25.
ur comparos r d bst...u didnt mentioned that what is the easy cruising speed of both these bikes...plz help....
Good review!! Unbiased. Yamaha is the reliable vehicle also every day Ua not going in a breakneck speed, only while touring that too at 100- 120 kmph is an advisable speed. In the case of Pulsar if it is not battered and serviced periodically by a well versed dealer definitely Pulsar is also the Best!!.
*Dino Bhau Nice review ,we need comparison between dominar 250 vs Duke 250 vs Gixxer 250 vs fz 250 vs Husqvarna 250. I know 3 bikes out 5 share same engine KTM 250 with some changes. Waiting for mega camparo*
Waiting for your comparison review of Dominor 250 vs Duke 250.
Please also do compare the Dominar 250 with the new Husqvarna Vitpilen/ Swartpilen.
Could you make a seperate video on bike prices that have skyrocketed since last two years. BS6, a valid reason. However, are astronomical price hikes justified? Considering earnings of people has only detoriated, what could help cut the prices for masses to again own performance bikes. This is my view which might not be right. So I wanted to know what do you think as an expert. Thanks in advance 🙏
with the price of 20k-25k reduction on FZ25 ..I think you need to provide a new video...thanks
In my pocket 500 and i m watching which beast is the best☺😂😂
True review. 💚
Domior offers eurogrip tyres and i think they are by tvs not mrf. Also i will choose fz25 anyday over dominor 250 just because of the engine refinement and reliability offered by yamaha engines. A satisfied fzs v3 owner.
After taking test ride on fz25!!
Undoubtedly the filtering capabilities and handling with tuned suspension..butter smooth refinement you wl really forget whats on paper
This is what dino bro he talks even about the side stand you always rock in your way brother 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dominar 250 rear tyre can be changed from 130/70/17 to 140/70/17 , is this possible & any problems regarding abs working ? Waiting for your reply
Excellent review boss
Dino bro.., any idea if D250 is getting an upgrade? I know they just got new color scheme.
Which will be better for lehh-ladakh or manali terren .....fz250 or gixxer 250
Please compare FZ 25 vs Gixxer 250 BS6.
Dominar 250 black colour look 🔥🔥🔥
Well, described 👍
yamaha can give u the engine refinement which is not available in any bajaj engine
I was waiting for dominar 250 but weight 180 kgs is a turnoff as i drive mostly in city and occasional long trip
Sf250...
Weight is not an issue once it start moving and it is actually an advantage during touring
You don't feel the weight once you start riding it, you only feel it when the bike comes to a halt. The weight gives good confidence, especially on Highways. I have done 161 after 1st service on it. I ride the bike in Bangalore traffic, never felt any issue apart of frequent gear changes due to 6 gears.
@@MultiHITMAN69 that is the problem, many use it only in city traffic with occasionally long trips in that case weight is a concern, may be long drives it is good
@@prashanthk8755 Thats a problem with all bikes with 6 speed gearbox. 6 speed gearbox is good for highway rides, but manageable for city rides. 5 speed gearbox is good for city rides, but makes you feel the lack of power on Highways. If you want a bike solely for city use and rare highway trips, just go for 5 speed gear box 👍
please make a comparison video between Apache 160 4v bs6 vs xtreme 160r vs xblade 160 bs6

I think it's like putting a stress on fz250's engine, 2valve, shorter gear ratio, not a oil cooled engine as per as yamaha says,if it had taller gear ratios then we wouldn't have feel the lack of 6th gear, I think there are better option like mt-15 and Apache 200 4v
