why is it important to do the LBRP before and after middle pillar? Ive found other texts mentioning to face West as well, and a couple different colors of light for each sephiroth. Queen Scale and King Scale. Any idea when one would choose to use King scale v. Queen Scale?
My voice coach taught me to vibrate sound in different parts of my body as a training exercise to manipulate resonance and pitch a few years before I got into the occult. Nice to see that coming in handy in various ritual work.
I would love to see a video about astral projection with book suggestions, tips, guidelines and the Foolish Fish's touch in the subject. Live long and prosper!
Bro, you’re by far one of the most learned magicians on RUclips. I think your channel is a must not only for anybody getting into magic, but even seasoned pros who can learn a thing or two more.
If you wana a get a good index to start enetering these realms, i have found few better than my man here, i have found diferent like the library of the untold guy, i would love for you 2 to have a chat, hopefully you invite us xD...
This practice it's very similar with macrocosmic orbit from taoism, chi gong etc. You are circulating a sphere of light in the orbit circuit. It is also one of the basic practices. Basic, but very important. Great video!!
I just did my first Middle Pillar, and I wish I had paid more attention to this video the first time I watched it. I'm still nervous about getting things wrong, but this helped put my mind at ease. Still even with my nervousness I felt the energy entering me and felt greater than I have in a while.
12:48 awesome video, very clear. I would like to encourage the practicioner with a considerable grade of significance, to do qabalistic cross and LBRP before anda after as the opening and closing, cleansing the space is reallt important before yo continue with middle pillar, someone explained it to me as an exercise for "the integration of the subtle". 😊
I was a part of a small group many years ago where the person at the center of the group introduced the middle pillar without any background to the rest of it. I realized years later how negligent this person was, & they were essentially conducting experiments on naive but trusting neophytes. When I had moved on, I discovered the *whole* practice & started practicing, as it was designed, there was another "teacher" who tried her darndest to put me off using these practices telling me they were "messing" with my energy. I'm grateful for these practical & informative videos because there are MANY out there who should not be abided & hopefully other people who search will find these first. 🙏
Hey I'd like to say, that it worked!! I was able to see and feel the energy go from the top of my body and have it go down through my left side. I would really like to pursue this
I'm just now learning about the Middle Pillar ritual. I'm working it into my overall system that involves Wim Hof breathwork, grounding, centering, the Master Ritual of Protection from Angelic Protection Magick by Ben Woodcroft, and the Kabbalistic Cross. By the time I get to the Kabbalistic Cross, I can feel tingling in my feet from the grounded energy which lets me know that it is working. I can also feel noticeable heat developing at the top of my head that spreads across my entire body and even causes me to sweat. I have a theory that when we open ourselves up to cosmic energy forces, practices like grounding and the Middle Pillar helps disperse the energy so that it doesn't harm you. Israel Rigardie makes mention in numerous books about protecting yourself from harming yourself. I believe the Middle Pillar can be used to balance a lot of contrasting energies
So when I practiced this ritual it's always had strange heavy consequences, intense. I kind of relate it to a kindof breakup with my neighbor, we were (and kind of still are, just looser) in an open relationship, but it brought to light some very toxic behaviors on both our behalfs. I'm finding a balance, tolerance even thru Buddhism, because i think if commited to the path of european esotericism, things evolve at a very rapid rate, beyond what is natural. You "can" accomplish in one life the evolutionnary steps required by many. But i think for us to actually digest knowledge and experience and acquire maturity with the things this world make us go thru, sometimes just taking your time to live and learn in happiness can be more fruitful and rewarding than bootstrapping too fast. I still like to do LBRP and LIRP, and i love this channel, keep up the good work foolish fish, maybe some day i will be ready :)
Just for interest sake since you seem to be doing the comparison to similar techniques. And since you're also looking into the Norse/Germanic runic systems. Edred Thorsson/Stephan Flowers and the Rune-gild also have a ritual called the Yew rite based on the Middle Pillar most likely, but also some unique innovations and approaches. The following Mill rite and Road rite are very powerful. You end up building the whole world tree Yggdrassil and all nine worlds and all their connecting roads in your sphere of sensation. Love these rituals.
Thank you for referencing the CRP of the Aurum Solis. While the Denning and Phillips version was Kabbalistic like the MPR, the current version used (found in the book "Rediscover the Magick of the Gods and Goddesses") uses seven spheres, related to the seven Planets, and associated Greek Gods. I may be biased as I am a member, but this is my favorite version. As a Pagan, it is much more my style, and most effective for me.

I love your videos FF, but I have to say that there was a reason why he said this. It's a ritual akin to bringing up kundalini and opening up chakras. Opening up kundalini can be dangerous if not done right. I have done the middle pillar, and this was a year after I had a kundalini awakening and it excited the energy so bad that it was uncontrollable. Now, people that haven't done alot of spiritual work in past lives may not even be able to raise kundalini but if someone was either in the right state, or the variables in their body were right then it would most likely cause it to raise. The other rituals are there for a reason: to purify the subtle and physical bodies before attempting to raise energies that the body will have a hard time handling. Some people may try for twenty years to raise kundalini and others that had done their spiritual attuning and work in other lives may have it wake up on their own, or by trauma, an illlness or just one simple ritual... I would listen to what people at the top say! They say it for a reason... Not like they just thought, well I'll throw a pointless statement in there for good measure. Kundalini isn't all light and fluffy either. A full awakening can come with so many life crushing issues that you could lose your job, lose your ability to function in relationships, unbalance your psychological state and throw you into a world of pain. I would tell you to let people know that warnings are there for a reason.
Not judging you FF, I am just concerned for those on the spiritual and magickal paths. Ye' going where angels fear to tread. Is just that! Not as easy and bright as everyone fantasizes about. People.think ohhh bliss! I wanna raise kundalini, then under.the crushing weight of pain and inescapable throws of these things tossing you about in the waves of things you now realize are way beyond just toys. The gravity of the situation becomes clear when you can't control spasms and convulsing of kriyas locking your into positions in which your never thought that your body could bend. Passing terror and pain towards the dying of your ego, (because it's being ripped out of you overwhelmingly until you surrender) no comfort or stability is sight, and when your ajna opens and you realize uf you tell others what you can now see, the possibility of a straightjacketed party is in the possible mix of your future "bliss".... These things ate not toys. The western world seems to think they know everything about everything, they fail to accept in humility the laws and words passed down by the past masters; from the upanishads, to the gita and beyond. I am appalled at all of the unaware people spreading techniques for opening the ajna and other chakras, initiating kundalini in the pursuit of escape in rapture and the delusion of propelling themselves into the new age through ancient spiritual.practices without the slightest clue, or a thorough teacher, guru or master. I just want people safe.
Thanks! I work with the chakra system perfectly. When you've heard and seen them vibrating vividly you simply cannot ignore those are the nodes to use.
I learned the LBRP first, but when I learned the middle pillar I wished I had learned it first lol just my two cents, But I had done a pretty decent study on the tree of life first, so I think it would’ve applied. But I ended up doing it away Regardie prescribed, and as I type this I just had the realization that that’s probably why I learned it the other way lol the universe is funny sometimes. Thanks for the video! Also, thank you for the very astute drawing that is now inevitably going to pop up during my visualizations lol
Thank you for the video, the thumbnail was certainly auspicious for me; something I can implement into my own practice. I appreciate your work and it has helped me visualize things easier that I understand. Always look forward to see what you do next.
I recently purchased Astral Projection by Denning and Phillips and having a brief initial read of it they appear to describe this technique. I was having a hard time picturing the way they explain the circuit of light but your video makes it so much clearer to visualise.
You're very welcome, George! :) Also, don't forget to check out the new video I just posted a week early for members like you (ad-free for a week) where I give further practical tips for this :) I hope you like it! ruclips.net/video/xDKa1nrt8rU/видео.html
Not the same thing... but imagining the light circulating as in your diagram, is similar to channelling energy through your middle, solar, lunar, belt channels etc. in what Jason Miller terms 'pulsing the web'. Thank you for sharing and I've long since come to the conclusion that Regardie's Golden Dawn is essential reading 😆
I have been researching hermetic reiki. I found the practice through the work of Damien Echols. What you said about the chakra system and the spheres of Middle Pillar sparked my interest. I would love to see a video on the topic. Thank you for putting this out! 🙏
This is interesting to me since I learned the middle pillar but I have barely practiced it, instead doing the Qabbalistic Cross, LBRP and LIRP much more often. Maybe it's time to circle back to it
These videos are exceptionally helpful for the visual learners! This also reminds me of the part of the Sphere of Protection ritual that John Michael Greer wrote of in his Druidry Handbook, especially Circulating the Light of the Cross that involves visualizing the different arms of the cross spinning in their own directions. I had to actually read it a few times and then attempt a crude drawing just to be able to get to the point where I could visualize how each arm of the cross would spin. My question is: Is there a specific purpose to this ritual? The LBRP is clearly for clearing out negative energy and protecting oneself. I've only just begun to incorporate that into my morning routine and hope to eventually bring in the LIRP. Does the Middle Pillar further strengthen the protections or is it more of a meditation, or something else entirely?
Oof! I’ve been doing the middle pillar first! Before the car and lbrp. Interesting. Yes following Echols. But I did wonder why not LBRP first and did feel I wanted to start with LBRP and QC but followed Echols ‘ advice. So, to the QC I think.
I just got here from a Vajra mantra listening session and the parallels are striking to me. Idea: publish your drawings as an esoteric oracle 😉 Halfway in your video, boom, the earth star chakra. I thought i invented some of this stuff, turns out i was being Kabbalistic... Which i love, reuniting ancestry lines back from dissociation feels like nothing else. Shouldn't it all be one, real, system of energies? It's beautiful. The light comes out of Malkuth💜💜💜
And i thought i sucked at drawing xD...at least i get MY LOVE HANDLES RIGHT...how dare you sir xD..kidding, thanks for keeping up the spread of info Denni...i have advanced so much in the past few years thanks to your "guidance" lets say..
This ritual is the best to come out of GD. You really need nothing else. If you investigate it's more of a meditation than a ceremony and it is very similar to Ngalso and Phowa from buddhism. Nothing is called upon, no materializations. Just you working on yourself and your body which is the way it's supposed to be.
Or Yeyhodiveah. Edit: I think I meant Yodhehovaa. I must have been drunk when I wrote this. I've since quit drinking. Which incidentally I find helps immensely with my practice...and memory. Lol
If I'm honest, I've been afraid to practice both the middle pillar and the lbrp. I took up the lbrp for a good month, and while I began to feel something very considerable shifting, I wasn't certain it was an entirely wholesome shift. I don't want to knock the entirety of the western tradition, because I'm very fond of its aims on whole, but something never sits right right with me about using the Hebrew names of God in rituals. Tbh the heavy use of kaballah in thelemic and golden dawn systems of magic always struck me as stealing something very dangerous, and I've made my own mistakes regarding dangerous concepts that leaves me somewhat leery of it all. Do you think there's value in re-creating the rituals in their entirety, but simply replacing the names of God with a different vibration? Would it still serve a similar purpose as the original ritual, or maybe become something else entirely? Would that something else still be viable, and even safe for practice? I should clarify that I'm not trying to tell everyone to stop using these rituals in their original forms, because honestly if it's the case that these words and forms are genuinely the safest, most structured way to begin initiatory practice, people should probably stick to what works for them. I just feel like I'm in something of a bind regarding my own magickal practice, and am unsure of whether I should just push past the unease, or listen to my gut telling me that there's something very wrong with using these names and find an alternative solution. It honestly might just be fear, but I'd like to know more about the history of kaballistic teaching being spread freely to practitioners outside of Jewish magickal practice by people from that tradition. That might make it easier for me to accept the names used in these rituals as 'passed on with permission' so to speak, and ease the wrongness I experience when using the names. Fantastic video though! I'm hoping to come to some sort of useful conclusion soon so I can begin directly practicing the middle pillar and lbrp rituals again consistently, and having this same yet effective instruction is an invaluable resource. :)
Learning the Middle Pillar before the LBRP? Huh.... I didn't know that some people took this approach, in learning. I've only focused all my attention to learn the LBRP (from online resources) but never gotten to the Middle Pillar (out of ignorance or ignoring it completely (and also focusing on only one aspect --that is the LBRP), until this video came up). .... Still...always learning something new along the way.
It's not generally recommended (Israel Regardie gives several reasons for practicing the LBRP several times a day for several months before attempting the MP), but I believe Damien Echols recommends learning the MP first, which is why many people are doing so recently.
Should the stands of light avoid touching the other streams? Why down the left physical? Why the difference from following the emanation patch of the Sephori?
Lyam Thomas Christopher in Kabbala, Magic and the Great Work of Self-Transformation uses IAO at Tiphareth. After experimenting with it for a while, it's become my preferred method. It may only be a matter of the difference in the feel of vibrating three simple vowel sounds versus the rather lengthy YHVH Eloah Vah-daath, but I find IAO more potent (not really the right word but I hope it gets my point across).
@@FoolishFishBooks Thanks for that. With all the reading I've done over the years on these subjects, I'm a little embarrassed to admit I've never really read much of Crowley's work. It must be time to rectify that.
Dumb question but should I still read the book all the way through after watching this video? I started and then BAM! A few hours later I stumble across thos
@Foolish Fish I don't see a link in the description to the Qabalistic Cross. Do you have a video on that? Also I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on the difference between the Tree of Life and the Charka system. I have heard and been shown interlaced maps of the two and would be interested to hear your thoughts.
I wonder what the tonal frequencies of these areas are. I wonder if they are possibly a musical scale. And I wonder about playing these tones through a rotary speaker above one's head. Or some way to target these frequencies at the same areas on the body using different instruments. Then again, I'm also concerned with hitting the brown note...
This reminds me of chakra energy points in the body. Somewhat similar in practicing cleansing, balancing and energizing each chakra point and each one has a chant that one can use to vibrate that energy, and more. Tell me, is this practice you talk about in the video, something that all Jewish people follow??
Wow, I learned this one before the Qabalistic Cross and the LBRP. Not sure if it helped or hurt me, hahaha. It always felt very powerful and beneficial, though. Now I always do the QC and LBRP before everything. Great explanation, I love the way you explain things. What is your opionion on how to ascend the Sephirot of the Tree of Life? All one by one, starting with Malkuth, then Yesod and so forth until Kether. When I've succesfully connected with one, when do I know I'm ready to ascend to the next? What if someone decided to connect with them randomly? (Advanced magicians on Qabalistic Magick maybe, but what about beginners?)
This is a big question. Too big for here. I recommend reading The Garden of Pommegranates by Israel Regardie on the topic of pathworking, as well as Denning and Phillips' Magickal States of Consciousness. Good luck! (PS, It's a good topic, and one that has been on my list of video topics to cover for a little while.)
I know Damien Echols suggests starting with the Middle Pillar. Israel Regardie mentions several reasons why he recommends at least several weeks of QC and LBRP before starting MP in his book "The Middle Pillar" (chapter 4)
What if you were mute and couldn't speak or just choose not to speak? Could it even be possible still to do these rituals? What a movement alone by itself be enough to make these techniques work?
There will be a 2nd video next week on the Middle Pillar with additional details for advanced practice.
Could that "brilliant white light" above the head potentially appear golden?
why is it important to do the LBRP before and after middle pillar? Ive found other texts mentioning to face West as well, and a couple different colors of light for each sephiroth. Queen Scale and King Scale. Any idea when one would choose to use King scale v. Queen Scale?
hmm you are interesting agent, of what you show... there is secret message in your video.

I have been researching hermetic reiki. I found the practice through the work of Damien Echols. What you said about the chakra system and the spheres of Middle Pillar sparked my interest. I would love to see a video on the topic. Thank you for putting this out! 🙏
Thank you. Interesting.
This is interesting to me since I learned the middle pillar but I have barely practiced it, instead doing the Qabbalistic Cross, LBRP and LIRP much more often. Maybe it's time to circle back to it
Thank you so much, you did an amazing job on this video
Great instructional video, many Thanks, a great Teacher!
So cool. I was just looking for info on middle pillar, and you posted it. I follow your videos from time to time.
Watch out for part 2 next week! :)
Love the picture
Kinda looks like one of the longer forms of the taoist "microcosmic orbit"
Thank you so much 🙏🏻♥️
These videos are exceptionally helpful for the visual learners!
Idea: publish your drawings as an esoteric oracle 😉
Halfway in your video, boom, the earth star chakra.
All I can say is wow... I mean with all do respect .. words don't seem to come to mind...
For me, simply putting my attention to the current center will allow it to resonate.
Essential.
Thank you so much !!!!
Hi i m Sandro from italy...thanks for video
Wow Thank You.. Thank You..!
9:05 when we gonna get that video?... I think the Tattwa/Tattva system could kinda help bridge the 2 or maybe Poke Runyons "hermetic yoga".
Great example @Foolish Fish! What do you say regarding the colour of the other four energy circles?
thank you so much
Very reminiscent if the macro and microcosmic orbits
11:35mins. Now then? this is the best bit, yeh, freaked me out.
thank you.
Thanks very much, very cool
You're welcome! Thanks for watching! :)
What do you think about Regardie pronouncing YHVH as Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh for the LBRP and Yeh-Ho-Vo in the Middle Pillar in the SAME book?
This is my same issue: everything I read, watch, and study is so contradictory.
I pronounce YHVH as EE-AH-OH-EH.
Do you really think they are gonna give us peasants the REAL info ?
I would like to learn as much as I can to best be able to help in any which way that I can
Should the stands of light avoid touching the other streams?
Why down the left physical?
Why the difference from following the emanation patch of the Sephori?
Lyam Thomas Christopher in Kabbala, Magic and the Great Work of Self-Transformation uses IAO at Tiphareth. After experimenting with it for a while, it's become my preferred method.
It may only be a matter of the difference in the feel of vibrating three simple vowel sounds versus the rather lengthy YHVH Eloah Vah-daath, but I find IAO more potent (not really the right word but I hope it gets my point across).
This resource may give some insight as to why Crowley substituted one for the other: www.thelemapedia.org/index.php/IAO
I'd recommend skipping the first half unless you're really enjoying it. It is worth reading, but don't let it get in the way of the second half.
@Foolish Fish
I don't see a link in the description to the Qabalistic Cross. Do you have a video on that?
Also I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on the difference between the Tree of Life and the Charka system. I have heard and been shown interlaced maps of the two and would be interested to hear your thoughts.
I show the Qabalistic Cross at the beginning of my demonstration of the LBRP.
Oh my, What kind of rabbit hole did i stubble upon?! Can’t make heads or tails of it.
Same
This reminds me of chakra energy points in the body. Somewhat similar in practicing cleansing, balancing and energizing each chakra point and each one has a chant that one can use to vibrate that energy, and more. Tell me, is this practice you talk about in the video, something that all Jewish people follow??
„All jewish people” don’t even study or agree with Kabbalah. 🙂
Pretty good drawing skills I must say haha
I tried xD
thx
The Universe is a Great Mind. It does matter wether you start in West. The sun rises in the east. It is ybolic of the advent of the Light.
What are the benefit of the ritual of Middle pilar
@@FoolishFishBooks Thanks a lot for the book suggestions! I'll further research the topic.
I started with the middle pillar myself
I know Damien Echols suggests starting with the Middle Pillar. Israel Regardie mentions several reasons why he recommends at least several weeks of QC and LBRP before starting MP in his book "The Middle Pillar" (chapter 4)
Mr Fish, have you ever considered investing in a tripod? You'd gain yourself a hand!
What if you were mute and couldn't speak or just choose not to speak? Could it even be possible still to do these rituals? What a movement alone by itself be enough to make these techniques work?
