I appreciate how the announcers gave respect to skateboarders and how he was basically already tough from that before he came into the sport it was interesting for me because I used to fight before I skated and I got good at it by taking the same mental toughness into skateboarding
This was the first time I’ve seen Ellis fight and I have to say, I do think he could beat me up. I wasn’t sure then I watched and realize, “yep, he’d punch my face in.”

Ellis is as honest as a human can be. Gotta have mad respect for that. I appreciate a guy taking up boxing/ jits n mma at his age. I started in early 20’s after football. Can’t imagine doing it after a pro skating career. Good on Ellis. Jason has not had the easiest road. His arrow is pointing up in life. Respect.
