Brilliant video. I had one bank not working, supply & fuses all in tack and no signs of burnt or blown components. Just went round and re-solder many joints. And fixed it. thks
Your obviously a tech and not a Makita user, I thought you were going to break out the crowbar to get the battery out! :) Im going to check the solder joints in my charger that has worked flawlessly for five years of hard labor, thanks for posting
Welcome I want to know what’s the problem in my charger makita 18 RC, there is no output voltage, the input is 220V but the output zero, i check the fuse is no there problem. Red, Yellow and green led is on I hope to help me
I have makita charger dc18ra and it stopped charging my batterys and the green light blinks but no sounds. I did hear i little paah inside when i plug it in.
Hey, I have the Makita DC 18 RC battery charger, have you ever come across a fault where the green light just continuously flashes and the battery does not charge. The batteries are good as I’ve tried him on a different charging unit. Many thanks Tom

Friend - Congratulations on the video - My MAKITA DC18RA charger burst components and I don't know the code to buy - They are the IC PWM with 4 pins on one side and 3 pins on the other position IC-1 - And the other one is likely a transistor in position IC -4 which is close to the (smaller) TR2 transformer -------- IT WILL HELP A LOT TO KNOW THE CODES OF THESE TWO COMPONENTS SO THAT I CAN REPAIR THE CHARGER - I appreciate your attention - Thank you
