"It was a spreadsheet, as is most of my life"
Martin Blackwood looks exactly like he sounds
"THIS CONCLUDES THE SENTENCE!" Is perhaps the best way to end a subject.
“We set out to make podcasts with a BASELINE of equality and just moral sense” and by doing this, they achieved the unimaginable: actually creating a welcoming community that makes everyone feel safe. Damn the Rusty Quill people are simply amazing
Factss
I honestly teared up to see such an utter lack of greed and corruption. That in itself is *sad.*
The more I see and hear about Rusty Quill as an organisation the more I want to work for them. 😭
god alex is such a good person,,,
you.
you're a liar
/j
IVE NEVER SEEN HIS FACE BEFORE
how can a single person be this likable?
Its really cool to hear how different Alex is from Martin, just from the way he speaks.
I love this it makes me want to work at Rusty Quill it genuinely seems like a fun, healthy work environment and gods I completely forget Alex is this CEO he's so down to earth and hands on involved in company projects
Honestly major props to him! I imagined that, from a business perspective, making it big in the podcast scene would be quite a lot to handle.
Seeing Alex in normal light instead of looking like a pale gaunt Victorian ghost on his webcam is so weird 😄
Excellent interview! It's very interesting to hear about the development of the company. Also that new big thing for the company ohohoho
Fantastic interview
Really glad you enjoyed it! Alex is wonderful!
Alex is as likable as Martin is, and, Frankly, I love the character of Martin. I want to protect him, Alex, from all bad things as he'd been protecting the members of his company
Honestly I love listening to the business talk, this is amazing
he reminds me so much of my theatre director it’s insane-
He looks so tired, I hope he got some sleep
Alex, are you ok??
He's secretly an immortal or something. He's gotta be.
Bloody good gear!
Wow he looks how i imagined him
rusty quill is the only good company
Anybody know what he meant with the new podcasting arm? I cant think of what that could have meant?
Maybe something that got sidelined because of Covid?
I think he was referring to Rusty Quill Network, which came out this May
