- Welcome to my weekly grocery haul for our family of five. That includes myself, my husband & our three sons aged 13, 16 &18! This week I had a look at what's new in Home Bargains & found some great offers in Sainsbury's!

I went up to customer services in my local (3 miles away) Sainsbury's with a green pepper which was well wrinkled (they all were) and asked if that was all they had. The Customer Services agent said to me, and I quote " I buy my fruit and veg in Lidl, they're much fresher". Try your watermelon wit feta, cube them up, cube wise, they're fabulous. The Sainsbury's in glasgow doesn't sell those chicken breast portions, we never get good deals in Scotland like you do down south. No! I’m shocked that they would buy from Lidl but to be honest the peppers especially are always so so bad! I don’t know why they don’t just change suppliers. Watermelon and feta sounds amazing 🤩 will definitely try it xx
Yes watermelon 🍉 & feta salad with red onion as well is lovely, so refreshing. Great with meats done on the bbq
I don't usually comment on RUclips but felt I had to this time. On your recommendation, I bought the chicken. I made Hunters Chicken and it was amazing. Full of flavour,not dry and no horrible veiny bits. Thank you ❤

It’s amazing 🤩 honestly if you have lime scale then buy it! Leave 15 minutes after spraying and scrub, it’s blown my mind!

Good shops there from both places. That meze with the dips/ pate sounds so nice. Ive gotvfeta in the fridge i found a recioe gor a whilped feta dip using feta, greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper sounds so nice, going to try it. On your meals of the week video a few days ago you made the mackeral fish cakes, looked yummy , anyway i had some roast chicken left from yesterday thought what shall i make ? Had some pesto to use up so imve made chicken & pesto cakes. Had some breadcrumbs, and a few panko ones left so mixed together seasoned them well then egg & crumbed the cakes. So they in fridge for tea tomorrow. They smell really nice, something different & using few things up!!, i dont realky care for sainsburys, the staff at my local 1 i find quite rude , happened on more than 1 occasion. So puts me off!!,
You have some really good ideas! I love the idea of “chicken cakes” never thought of that before! Oh that’s a shame, my local Sainsbury’s the staff are quite nice although Lidl has a few that I’m sure hate everyone 😬😂
@@Victoria_Foulger yeah, its the way they run your shopping through the checkout at 100 miles an hour, they just want rid of you!!! 😁😆 just that look of 'will you hurry up so I can start the next customer ' look they give you !! Tge hard stare !!
Hello Victoria! Please let me know if the epsom salts work on your dog. I also have a frenchie that licks his paws. 😕
I don’t know yet if it’s made a big difference but for £2.75 it’s definitely worth a try. They’re also really nice in your bath for soft skin 😂

I do! The lettuce is always brown and the peppers are so bad lately! Always mouldy and squashy yet they leave them on display 😬
Try your dog on a antihistamine….. my late dog had severe skin problems and he was actually under a consultant…. Is it his front paws or back….. it can make a difference. They say front paws because they are just there but if they chew back then they really are irritated. One of my dogs I have now has allergies to tree pollen….. she gets very watery eyes and she has a antihistamine and sorts the problem out. Personally I buy from the vet rather than risking giving her the wrong dose.
I’ve not got a close Lidl so I buy most of my fruit and veg from M&S….. sainsburys now are absolutely shocking for quality and my local Aldi isn’t much better either. No idea what’s going on with sainsburys quality lately.
Oh it was me about the chilli sauce…. The one in the world food isle is much nicer than that one at HB… I picked that one up to try and actually threw it away no one in my house would eat it. Hopefully your lot will enjoy it.
Don't buy. Or use fabric softner'cos it rots rubber on door of washing machine & builds up on towels & clothes & makes them rough.just add cup of white vinegar to rinse water (doesn't smell) & it softens fabric & keeps machine clean.

It’s a hay fever type of allergy I think as it’s always bad when the pollen is high 🙁
@@Victoria_Foulger my ex guide dog takes Piriton for her allergies Victoria, but it has to be Piriton non of the others because of the ingredients, ask your vet next time you are there. 🦮xxx
