I would love to have Yellow Temperance as a Stand. I've watched John Carpenter's THE THING so many times and read nearly every Venom comic so I know I'd do a hell of a better job than that jackass did. Some Random Weeb there’s 3 scenario’s im theorizing, 1) yellow temprance can’t take too much or he’ll die making BIG the winner or 2) yellow absorbs all of BIG before he becomes a big threat or 3) both absorb each other growing into a massive monster fusion and devour the earth.
1:10 It’s interesting how the Temperance card relates to Rubber Soul even though he’s practically the opposite of the Temperance card’s aspects. Even though I’m not really an expert on reading tarot cards, I’ve done a little research, and Rubber Soul’s personality is like the inverted Temperance card. Essentially, inverting the tarot card inverts their aspects. So patience would be reversed into impatience. From what we’ve seen, we’ve usually seen the right side up version of the tarot cards in the Stand users, but I think that it’s nice to see the inverted side in a character as well.

If I had Yellow Temperance, I would use it to imitate a guard and gain access to restricted places. Then again, that's probably why I don't have Yellow Temperance.
Is very hard to guess YT weakness, he eating the beetles could be explained by Rubber Soul being too impulsive to wait for proper food and too cocky to consider it may ruin his disguise. YT being kept fairly small may also be due to Rubber Soul vanity as if his Stand grew too large he wouldn't be able to walk without drawing unwanted atention
Something I never noticed was that Rubber Kakyoin’s hair noodle moved on its own when he was licking the cherry and before he beat up the guy who stole his wallet. I’m not sure if that’s Temperance’s ability or Hierophant Green doing that but either way it looks pretty cool. Looks like a tentacle 😂
1:40 except not really, it can leave his body as shown when a piece of the stand is attached to Jotaro's hand. Additionally, the stand completely disappears when Rubber Soul is briefly incapacitated. It's more likely just a stand visible to non stand users without being bound.
Tbh I wouldn’t mind having Yellow temperance, as I could theoretically cover everything but my head with temperance and morphing it to a couple pictures of what outfit I would want to wear, It’s temperature resistance makes me think that temperance could be in a very cold/hot area and the user wouldn’t be affected by it
The user's personality as well as stand are based on the *reversed* versions of their Tarot card, like most, if not all all villains in part 3 who are named after them. The reversed versions signify a more negative meaning of the cards normal meaning (depending on what card/interpretation you go with).
honestly this stand is really good despite the fact that it reminds me of earwax and i can't get the image out of my head, i think rubber soul is one of the best side characters they could've added in the HFTF game
I personally like Yellow Temperance and what it did in SC. The idea that it represents the upside down reading of the Temperance card fits in with Rubber Soul's personality and the stand itself could've been explored more to confirm any outstanding questions of its capabilities but it does prove to be very useful again the majority of stands which opperate either at close range or utilising strength/elements to handle it. If Rubber Soul was less arrogant and had more restraint over his assured victory mindset, he likely would've beaten Jotaro, hell he basically had Jotaro beaten and if he stayed far away after attaching the piece to him, it's likely either Jotaro is beaten or suverely injured if he had to amputate his arm. I wish more was done for this stand as it's definately a great shield and sword and likely could defeat all the crusaders with ease (except maybe 1v1 unless it is more powerful than we assume it is). In short: Great stand, Terrible/Weak user.
i think the enemy tarot card users represented the reversed cards, the tower card represents sudden change and a challenge but when reversed it represents personal change and averting disaster, this was the first ''professional'' stand fighter that the party fought and represented the fact that they can't just blindly fight back from now on and that they have to actually strategize, yellow temperance follows this suit with the reversed card representing things such as self-healing, re-alignment and excess
I would like to bring up that Anya the Hag had a private army of her own stand users before she met DIO and yellow Temperance is one of them from what I remember.
A better user would have explored Yellow Temperance’s ability to replicate living matter. He could grow gills, produce natural toxins to paralyze opponents, and expand his sensory abilities. Underrated stand
You said the stand is nothing like the Tarot card it's supposed to represent. But I disagree. Tarot cards aren't only read right side up, but also upside down. The upside down meaning of the cards are actually supposed to be the opposite! So Yellow Temperance actually seems to represent Upside Down Temperance just right.
Stands often taking abilities reflective of their owners consciousness, imagine the life rubber soul had to create a stand that could not only hide himself by disguising him, build harm anyone who touched him
The tarot cards have a special factor which when dealt if your card or cards are upside down then the meaning of the card is reversed. Like the lovers reversed means a toxic relationship or whatever the hell Steely Dan is.

Rubber Soul is a total idiot, but if the user were smarter I'd bet the user could isolate themselves from Purple Haze's virus by covering themselves in Yellow Temperance. Fugo himself stated that the virus is weak and doesn't survive for long outside of a host, I'd say that Yellow Temperance has the edge.
The fool cant do nothing against this stand, the world too, rubber cover himself with his stand and dio can do nothibg to him so will be a draw, cream obvisly can kill rubber. But in the fight that get him beat in the water he just need to call his stand back and he will win he dosnet even need to surprise jotaro just covers himself with yellow run at him and beat him whilr being invulnerable to jotaro attack and as we could see the stand is fast enougu to defend from jotaro attacs so i dont knoe why he didnt keep doing that and whe he infects you are basically dead slowly but dead so he could just approuch the battle in 10 differnet ways like just leaving a bit in the head or neck of jotaro, jotaro will die helpless with nothing to do about it

Rubber soul is actually based on the REVERSE tarot card of temperance, which a lot of other villains do as well.

I believe the main inspiration for Yellow Temperance was the movie "The Blob". Although symbiotes from Marvel is a good call too.
