Oud in oure form is reall sweet and synthic smell worst and thats because of oud name is spoil of oud name
ATH is a genuine fragrance artist. No middle managers and marketing departments messing up fragrances from billion dollar companies who should know better. Just a man who loves making fragrances, and that's something Estee Lauder could never do.

Got Onyx myself Chris. First one I’ve
tried from Aaron’s line, unbelievable fragrance. Very surprised at how much I like it. I find it to be a very sexy scent and extremely addictive. Really looking forward to try more ATHs. Oud Wood and Pardon also amazing fragrances.

Great video. I loved that Monika chose to rate the fragrances after she smelled them all first. In my opinion, that’s the best way to do it. Not to mention, I just got Oud For Greatness yesterday. I think that 8.5 is pretty accurate for OFG. I’m very interested in Onyx. I keep seeing reviews popping up for the Aaron Terance Hughes line, but i never paid attention to it until this video. Monika’s reaction was classic! Again, great video. Holla.

Some of frag reviewers have been trying to hype Oud for Greatness by Initio recently. As a result, I went and tested it at the local store. I got to say, this is an average oud fragrance
Indeed. People praise it for being a "non-skanky" oud, failing to realize that it smells the way it does because it doesn't contain any actual oud, but rather the chemically-extracted molecule for oud. To me, it's like taking a multivitamin rather than eating fruits and leafy greens for your vitamins. It's just not the same.
Onyx is a phenomenal scent and the performance of this is downright stunning. While its the most expensive in his line, it is the one most worth sampling in his line. You can tell he put significant time and effort into perfecting it.
Pardon is nice...but I don't think it's really worth the praise it gets. I was unimpressed with it, but that's due to the significant similarity to LX48 which I was wearing a metric ton of at the time.
Great vid mate ;) Unfortunately I have to break your heart and let you know that Pardon has exactly zero oud in it ! Neither synthetic nor natural. No idea why fragrantica has decided to put it as one of its main notes, despite the fact that Gualtieri never releases the list of ingredients for his perfumes ! Pardon is actually a Patchouli fragrance :)
Same here. I dunno where from everyone gets an oud note in it. Its basically a patchouli/cacao scent, with maybe some light woods in the base like cedar.
@@leetaipe probably because most of these reviewers have never smelt real oud and wrongly class an synthetic oud accord as oud!
Dimitri Signature Scent Pardon has actually in its base notes 24% of Agarwood (Oud), 23% of Dark Chocolate, 16% of Sandalwood and 13% of Tonka Bean. This is a beast mode Oud fragrance with extended longevity.
Fragrentica.people tend to jump on the wagon and roll with good reviews they can be neutral or neg, yet they will write a positive review.i mean look at ebay.a complete rubbish product and seller Will have all positive reviews. People don't want to break stride and go against the grain. So they go with it

Loved the video guys. The scoring effects were a nice touch! Always great to get Monika's feedback. I know what she means about Pardon though. The first time I wore it, someone told me that I smelled like a mouldy carpet. That was 5 hours in. The second time, I didn't leave the house. But the THIRD time, I finally understood the magic of patchouli. Namely, the way it can part a crowd... 🤣🤣🤣

Brilliant collaboration with Monika, Nice chemistry between you both from the get go. Interesting to watch Monika’s Vlog which show’s all the hard work in the background needed to create just one of these videos. I LOVE ONYX! My 10ml has huge dent only few weeks in. Gotta upgrade to 50ml soon! It's such a scrumptious rose note to me. Gorgeous and sexy, yes! Oud Wood also, common but mmmmmmmmm good. Great vid!
Can’t beat a good collab, Oud Wood is on my to get list, maybe Oud for greatness too. I have tried PP’s version of Pardon and like you say on here, it’s challenging but I do enjoy. Intrigued by onyx too.

Loved this ...went to Aaron’s site to get onyx everything gone!! ( which I’m glad for him) I’ll try Wednesday .
Onyx and Violet Delirium are his best creations. They're downright phenomenal and two of my all time frags. The ambroxan bombs, sluts, and commercial stuff are very good given the cost. The rest of the line does leave a bit to be desired. He recognized that as he's reformulating much of them.

When I was in Selfridges I was deciding between Oud For Greatness and Carved Oud by Thameen and I ended up choosing Carved Oud! Love Initio though got a few of their juices.

Pardon gives me the same indecisive opinion, as pretty much all the nasomatto range. Oud wood is a great smell but it’s a victim of its own success, it’s too common, at least in big cities. The rest I haven’t tried but I’m excited to sample the ATH range this year

I wouldnt say that Pardon's DNA is something unique, because LIDGE smells like 80-90% the same. Pardon is like an upper-class version of it.

Pardon is amazing, as are all of those fragrances, but I would argue the strips do no justice for any perfumes. Have to wear in skin to rate anything accurately

I think her reaction to Pardon influenced your summation. Because with Pardon I get the most intense and overtly sexual compliments and reactions. Best fragrance of all time IMO. Every girl I know who’s smelt it on me has gone nuts. I had a female friend many many years ago lick my neck!

I ve just come back from Morocco today and I found some great oud fragrances my favourite being from a brand called Swiss Arabian called shaghaf oud it’s amazing it’s like oud bouquet and 24 gold by scentstory but stronger and much sexier they also have similar scents to both interlude man and tobacco oud. Aoud vanille by mancera is great as well. Arabian oud in London do some great ouds as well.
Ash from Gents Scents has recently been on about the Swiss Arabian Oud. You can 75ml for about £22 from Notino now.
Sean Brooke shame I didn’t think about notino I paid full retail for Shawq which is a aventus clone it came to 30 pounds, the oud fragrance is around 60quid over there. They also had an al haramain store and laventure was 70 quid in London at beauty base it’s 40, they also had the portfolio collection for 150 quid each

Is Versace Oud Noir the best (aka most affordable with decent quality) oud fragance? I'm looking forward to break into the oud world but not willing to pay TF Oud Wood price.
Try Pocket Scents Ne Plus Ultra - Oud Wood. It's close to the original but a touch sweeter and has a 50ml/35 quid ratio.

I bet Onyx i a great frag, without even smelling it, Jut putting my opinion on the fact that Aaron uses high class natural and raw quality materials.Friendship between Monika and Aaron could be a factor of kind of 'nepotism' but in today's world it shouldn't be any detrimental factor to anyone. Natural, raw materials used to make Onyx.From description of the product and the other reviews: long lasting,with a great projection and sillage. Beautiful eco friendly smell.And as to friendship between AAH and Monika. Monika subcounsiously, in this video, could have helped ATH to promote a fragnance. These days there are a lot of perfumes from the houses :designer,niche, independent. One of the things people obviously takes into consideration when deciding which perfumes are to buy, is a price (It doesn't apply to those ones who are simply rich and don.t have to look up for a price tag.
For others, Onyx is pricey, but taking into account the natural ingredients, longevity and reportedly very nice smell and natural material used to produce this fragnance that even friendship between ATH and Monika should be overlooked on this occasion, if final product is very good.
In a world with lots of scum around, copies of the copies, producing perfume which had been made many times before. In a world where massive marketing campaign are launched when new perfume is coming out, more money are committed for new campaigns in time when company believes in getting to their potential target.
In a world when everything is made on a massive scale when sometimes is difficult to distinguish between original and 'original like' perfume.
In a world where quite often, fake good can be a winner. But let me think on what scale it is achieved.
Obviously in a household considered, middle class one, getting expensive can be considered a luxury.
But forgetting about classes, we strictly talk about money designated to buy very nice perfume with a price of them of up to £300.
In a world where even independent or niche perfumes needs some kind of promulgation. Perfumes made by ATH are very good.Ratio of price to quality is superb.
Support small fragnance producers which makes a perfume from natural and raw ingredients. They might be costly at first sight but looking at it later,checking at the igredients prices and quality... Some houses claim to use 'oud' but in reality it is not legit oud on quite a few occasions there is no 'oud' in the fragnance at all , just a mixture of some chemicals pretending to be an 'oud'.So it something to think about. Got quite expensive frag with low quality of materials or the one pretending to be an 'oud' for example.We all need to make these choices...Random. Would love to spend a day or half a day hanging around with ATH. I would definitely learn a lot during that day.

I’ve been experimenting with mixes of fragrances. Found a winner. Applied Armani Prive Oud Royale and John Varvatos Vintage in a 1 to 4 ratio. Magnificent.
