Hey Emily. I’m a new nurse and have just started doing night shifts. I’m in a new city and don’t have a car so I literally biked home in the snow today 🥲 I’ve noticed you seem to always have an upload up whenever I get home at like 8am. It truly makes my day (or night??) and I just wanted to say thank you!!! So much!!!!!!
Omg, good luck! Please please make sure to take extra good care of yourself, night shifts are really hard on the body, esp over longer periods of time :( I learned that the hard way hehe
I’ve caught myself saying “very fun, very fresh” a few times and I could not remember where I got that from until now. I love your videos they are just so calming and also entertaining
The pork Stovetop stuffing is vegan. I didn’t believe it at first but it’s the only flavor from the line that doesn’t have dehydrated meat powder in it.
Gabriella I have a list of accidentally vegan products in my head that I've collected over 4 years of veganism, and this one is definitely gonna stick. like damn you a life saver
at the end you said that this isn’t your favorite thanksgiving video of urs but honestly I love this one. it was super simple and used accessible ingredients. as a vegan who started in mississippi where many vegan products were inaccessible, I applaud you
omg i was also newly introduced to the wonders of instant mashed potatoes and i HIGHLY recommend cooking a bunch of minced garlic with butter in the pot before adding the water it makes the flavor so strong and delicious !!!! sending u love
my moms been making idaho powdered potatoes for thanksgiving forever and adds sour cream and cream cheese and i veganize it so i got so hype when i saw u trying them
boxed mashed potatoes are very good. i add them into potato soup to thicken it sometimes and when i make them as mashed potatoes i usually cook one or two fresh potatoes to add to it. its easier than making a big batch of homemade but still tasty. also i love the way they puff up and thicken when you add the water lol
I loved this video! I am the only veg in a house of omni's, so meal times are always a struggle for me, especially on holidays. I'm usually making sure they have everything, then I look around & there is very little for me! This year, your video has given me some REAL, down to earth ideas, and I have printed out that pumpkin pie recipe. Tip: those frozen crusts that are all broken up? You can let them thaw & then press them back into shape.
I'm violently excited for this But for real been watching you for years and finally making real steps to being totally vegan and it's great so thank you so much
If you like corn you should try my corn casserole! 1 Can of corn 1 can of creamed corn 1 stick of butter ( or equivalent vegan butter) 1 box of Jiffy Corn Bread mix Mix it all together and bake at 350 for approximately 45 minutes or until golden. Take out of oven and top with shredded (vegan) cheese. (Also add fried onions if you want a crunch factor) Bake for additional 5-10 minutes. My family loses their minds over this easy recipe that takes minimum effort.
Ugh this made my heart warm !! I’m studying abroad and by myself for thanksgiving for the first time ever so this made me feel apart of the holiday in some odd way :,) going to try out the pumpkin pie recipe (but a bit more bootleg bc I can’t get every ingredient so improv it is)
Loved this video as I do your other videos for the sheer genuine content. It's helpful to know you don't have to make EVERYTHING from scratch if you're short on time, space or tools. I definitely want to try those apple turnovers! Thank you! 🤗
I recommend trying out the potato and carrot cheese sauces. It’s so good and I’m so picky with vegan cheese. I recommend trying it with oat milk like chobani oat milk, and some lemon juice and you don’t need any onion in it and veggie broth in cheese sauces is a no. Make sure to blend it and don’t get inpatient and keep blending until it’s like silk. 💗💗💗💗
Great video. Just found your channel today and subscribed. I am vegetarian transitioning to a vegan diet by the end of this year. It was nice to see recipes that are easier and can be changed to improve them or just modified based on what you have available. I am a fan of boxed potatoes and this reminded me to pick some up for Thanskgiving!
Walmart has vegan marshmallows and they are awesome and cheap. Trader Joe’s does as well and they have gluten free/vegan pie crusts as well that are so good
hi emily, i just wanted to preface by saying i've been watching your videos since 2019 and even tho i am not currently vegan, not only are your recipes inspiring but also your vids are so gd comforting for some reason. just wanted to say i appreciate you and everything you do ❤️
Next year try a pumpkin moose pie made with a graham crust and non dairy topping (cool whip). Use an instant vanilla pudding mix and then it can gel up in the freezer.
I live in France so I don’t celebrate thanksgiving because obvi not a French celebration, I’m not even vegan so i don’t know why I’m watching this but I’m watching 🧍♀️
Boil the heck out of the water and butter for the instant potatoes. Then add salt, pepper, milk, and extra butter after it's done. Not too bad!! This got me through uni!!!
Thanksgiving is longggg gone at the time of me watching this BUT if anyone needs a meat substitute for a thanksgiving type meal, garidien has a fried turkey cutlet product (although it might still be sold out when the “turkey” logs are sold out) I like it better than the logs cause I usually hate the stuffing inside of them and the cutlets are breaded and fried!
This video was great! I'm very excited to try the box potatoes too. I found a Gardein holiday roast (my favorite) so I'm trying that plus mashed potatoes and will probably grab that mushroom gravy you had...even though I'm allergic-ish lol oops? Vegan friends had to cancel Thanksgiving but it's alright. A little whiskey with my meal never hurt anyone
Hi, Emily! I was wondering if you could try doing a video where you eat as if you were a student on a meal plan. For me personally, this means getting food that the school has at the cafeteria (lots of veggie burgers, soup, stir fry).
your content is frickin AMAZING!! i'm pescetarian, not vegan, but your channel is such a wonderful resource for meal ideas!! SO many channels either have meat in Everything or their vegetarian/vegan recipes look meh, but everything you put out looks absolutely delicious and i love incorporating them into my meal rotation! rock on buddy
Thank you for your video. :) I was wondering if salsa might be the ingredient that would help your cheese sauce, or at least tomato and onion. Just a thought. :)
I tried kinder beauty and felt it was worth it with the discounts they offer when you're starting out, but not worth the money for me personally after that. Btw, when you try to cancel they ask for a reason, and if you say it's because of the price, they offer you $7 off your next box to make u stay
So.... A young-broke-single-person-living-alone tgiving recipe ive been doing for the last 8 years is i mix stove top stuffing and Mac n cheese together and top it with hot sauce. Super filling, super cheap, super delish, leftovers for days... buh-bam!
emily! i appreciate you trying to make this video more accessible to your audience but I'm slightly bummed because I was looking forward to your thanksgiving video because they always end up being so comforting and a favorite but I understand that there's no reason to waste food or have a big extravagant thanksgiving feast for one vegan to consume

THANK YOU for being a nurse....our nurses are SO important! Stay safe on your bike with snow and ice! HUGS!
when emily said “i’m tired” in the middle of cooking the chickn strips i felt that
Now that animal crossing has cooking you should make some in the game then make the dishes in real life!!
I think she might have one!
omg yesssss
I’ve caught myself saying “very fun, very fresh” a few times and I could not remember where I got that from until now. I love your videos they are just so calming and also entertaining
ur rly making me realize i say that a lot dont i….. 😅🥲
believe it or not, i’ve been waiting for 2021 thanksgiving video for Emily for months loll
The pork Stovetop stuffing is vegan. I didn’t believe it at first but it’s the only flavor from the line that doesn’t have dehydrated meat powder in it.
not me absolutely losing my mind over this
Gabriella I have a list of accidentally vegan products in my head that I've collected over 4 years of veganism, and this one is definitely gonna stick. like damn you a life saver

Gardin also has the Turkey cutlets they are at Walmart too and it brings gravy!
Those are so good!
The only correct Thanksgiving turkey substitute
I used that pumpkin pie recipe last year. One of my non-vegan *super picky* friends tried a piece and loved it. Such a winner.
my moms been making idaho powdered potatoes for thanksgiving forever and adds sour cream and cream cheese and i veganize it so i got so hype when i saw u trying them
your videos are so calming but still funny and entertaining. literally my favorite account on here - it's like free therapy, thank you
boxed mashed potatoes are very good. i add them into potato soup to thicken it sometimes and when i make them as mashed potatoes i usually cook one or two fresh potatoes to add to it. its easier than making a big batch of homemade but still tasty. also i love the way they puff up and thicken when you add the water lol
I also use potato flakes in my soups as thickener! I actually prefer it most of the time over a cornstarch slurry :)

I'm usually making sure they have everything, then I look around & there is very little for me! this is probably my fave video out of many of yr recent ones because it is specifically _so_ accessible
I'm violently excited for this
But for real been watching you for years and finally making real steps to being totally vegan and it's great so thank you so much
If you like corn you should try my corn casserole!
1 Can of corn
1 can of creamed corn

1 box of Jiffy Corn Bread mix
Mix it all together and bake at 350 for approximately 45 minutes or until golden.
Take out of oven and top with shredded (vegan) cheese.
(Also add fried onions if you want a crunch factor)
Bake for additional 5-10 minutes.
My family loses their minds over this easy recipe that takes minimum effort.
Sounds yummy! Note to any vegans/vegetarians who make this to buy the vegetarian Jiffy mix as the original mix has lard in it.
Ugh this made my heart warm !! I’m studying abroad and by myself for thanksgiving for the first time ever so this made me feel apart of the holiday in some odd way :,) going to try out the pumpkin pie recipe (but a bit more bootleg bc I can’t get every ingredient so improv it is)
vegan marshmallows are actually very accessible! look for them in the kosher or halal section of any grocery store and you will most likely find them!
I LOVED THIS ;-;
This looks amazing! I think that saving some of the pasta water would've helped with thinning out the cheese sauce.
This was awesome! Thank you for making holiday food more weeknight friendly:)
“They did a surgery on a sweet potato” made me laugh way more than it should have
omg the kinder box is literally the perfect gift for my sister! this sponsor saved xmas
Loved this video as I do your other videos for the sheer genuine content. It's helpful to know you don't have to make EVERYTHING from scratch if you're short on time, space or tools. I definitely want to try those apple turnovers! Thank you! 🤗
Getting sponsored by Luna lovegood is a flex
your background music is so relaxing thanks!
I meaaann I love your thanksgiving videos!!!!
You are so intelligent and funny. I love watching your videos.
i look forward to this video every year thank you thanksgiving queen
oooh i was binging your last thanksgiving videos and was about to ask in the discord if you’re doing one this year - am very excited 🙏🏻
You and the kitchen shears r the best duo 💚💚
This was exactly the type of Thanksgiving video I was hoping you'd do this year!! 👍💕
Thank you! ❤️. Love your holiday cooking adventures and these are great options.
to use up the marshmallow- you could do like marshmallow sauce & peanut butter!!!
I’m so excited for the holiday videosss all time comfort videos for sure
Perfect timing!! I just started binging Thanksgiving vids and planning my own menu
I recommend trying out the potato and carrot cheese sauces. It’s so good and I’m so picky with vegan cheese. And I used mikoyos creamery cream cheese instead of cashews and it’s delicious and you don’t need a lot of lemon juice like a teaspoon at a time.
& lmfao you don’t need a lot of cream cheese don’t be crazy with it just like use a small amount.
This is perfect timing!! You are so amazing, thank you for posting this, i love you so much!

you are so comforting.
i love that i watch your videos when im at my hungriest (in the morning)
I am nothing without ur vegan recipes thank u for uploading 🙏🙏
I was raised on the Idahoan mashed potatoes lol and ate them soooo much when I went vegan in high school (with vegan chicken nuggets)
honestly i shouldve used chicken nuggets that wouldve been better 😅😭
Next year try a pumpkin moose pie made with a graham crust and non dairy topping (cool whip). Use an instant vanilla pudding mix and then it can gel up in the freezer.
omg you’re back with another thanksgiving vid!!!! I look forward to it every year
omg beauty vlogger emily eraaa
I live in France so I don’t celebrate thanksgiving because obvi not a French celebration, I’m not even vegan so i don’t know why I’m watching this but I’m watching 🧍♀️
Yay! New upload 😭 I was just binging ur other Thanksgiving videos 💓💓
Sweet potato looks amazing!! Great idea, definitely want to try it out
Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing is accidently vegan and available at my Target!!

Box mashed potatoes supremacy 🧘♀️✨
Loved it! You are so cute and funny!
this video made me so psyched to eat thanksgiving food omg
Idahoan also makes single-serve cups of microwave mashed potatoes. I live off of them as a college student
nothing wrong with instant potatoes, and thanks for mentioning the vegan mushroom gravy, I'll have to look for that!
Another fantastic video from beautiful, cool, gorgeous and lovely Emily. The food is always yummy 😋 and simple. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Emily.
Awesome 😎. The sweet potato and greenbeanmania would be enough for me. Plus mushroom gravy 👠🍜👽🧑🏼🎤
love your videos !

Hi, Emily! I was wondering if you could try doing a video where you eat as if you were a student on a meal plan. For me personally, this means getting food that the school has at the cafeteria (lots of veggie burgers, soup, stir fry).
I love this because I couldn’t find a vegan turkey loaf either, so I just got field roast sausage!
Which air fryer do you use and would you recommend it?

I’m living for these 30 min videos 😆
Loved this :)
I’ll be having Thanksgiving alone with my dog, so I need a menu that is half vegan & half dog food 💛
🥲💚
Ma’am it is 3 am on a Monday morning…
I love boxed mashed potatoes!
When I can smell the food through the mere thumbnail you know you're doing vegan right.🙌 Thanks alot Emily
Thank you for sharing all the accidentally vegan options!
Walmart has vegan marshmallows now
Thank you for your video. :) I was wondering if salsa might be the ingredient that would help your cheese sauce, or at least tomato and onion. Just a thought. :)
yumm send me a slice of that pie pleaseeee
As a super lazy vegetarian who’s always trying to be more plant based - THANK YOU
I just want a hug. That’s all
ok me too
u are the best

I love seeing the air-fryer with googly eyes
Whoa I had no idea about Evanna Lynch and Daniella Monet being vegan, much less that they now have a business together! That’s so cool!!
That marshmallow syrup is 🔥 in matcha. Just do it. Blend it together
emily! i appreciate you trying to make this video more accessible to your audience but I'm slightly bummed because I was looking forward to your thanksgiving video because they always end up being so comforting and a favorite but I understand that there's no reason to waste food or have a big extravagant thanksgiving feast for one vegan to consume
what motivated you to go vegan? I love your videos btw
POV: you're a canadian and wondering why emily is uploading a thanksgiving video so late
How many different shirts do you wear in this video?!
sweatshirt ➡️ long sleeve ➡️ short sleeve
lol i forget how much heat an oven produces i dont use it much living alone
Yes, I am the only vegan at Thanksgiving.
Yes, I eat Turk'y loaf for a week.
Good morning mam ❤😃👍🇵🇭 watching from Philippines 😃👍 full watched 👍 I like it 👍❤
Thank you based em
