In the early 60's, this restaurant was LILE'S HAMBURGERS. The owner sold and moved to a new location in Dearborn near City Hall. He and later his son operated LILE'S there until just recently.
My mother used to take me there get those ham sandwiches when I was a kid when she worked for the City of Detroit at 903 W. Grand boulevard which was right around the corner from this place. Wow!

The new owners must have great customer service too. Customer service is slowly becoming a lost appeal at lot of establishments.
