You can slowly hear the voice actor adjusting the maturity of the voice as you see him level up. I like that. For someone who loves good voice acting I like that.

the anime is actually expanding on the worldbuilding and introducing characters early so they dont just suddenly appear out of nowhere. animation so far is really good and the pacing is 5 chapters per episode (episode 1 and 2)

@@gamerx_1202 24 episode won't be enough but if each episode is if of 60 minutes than it is possible
@@gamerx_1202 There were leaks that it was gonna be a 2 cour series but a split cour (so cour 1 this winter then a break then cour 2, normally in summer season). And if they stick to 5 ch per ep we'll be seeing to just before the Jeju Island arc. Then prolly a s2 later down the road which would have to be another 2 cour at the very least.
I think the first cour will prolly end at the Job change arc or the red gate arc
As someone who read the manwha for 5 times this looks good. I hope the anime got the recognition it deserve

The most amazing thing about this manhwa compared to every other manhwa is the re-readability. You can just keep rereading it and it's as rewarding every time.

@@winston7055you’re bugging, you’re expecting it to have the same animation as jjk? When both series have different movement styles in their source material? Is pretty wild, it’s like expecting jjk to have demon slayer level animation when the two aren’t remotely similar. Same for solo leveling and jjk, respectively sl’s animation looks better for what it’s representing in the source material and is more accurate. While jjk anime just cleans up behind gege’s mishaps he sometimes have when drawing characters faces(gojo looks like a rat in some panels and in others he looks insanely good). But this animation is pretty damn good.
Definitely needs recognition. There's alot of similar but this one takes it by far

@@kiwoxgen9929 tbh it made sense. he knew he could get the ending he wanted and risked it all for it. it fit with the ending of his character arc. the whole thing after with his child though felt off to me. but thats mostly cause it was just a chapter or 2 and felt like it ruined the ending of the original story.

The characters' voices are exactly as I imagined them when I read the mahnwa. The voices simply match the behavior and appearance of the characters (see Jin Woo at the beginning, middle and end of the trailer). I had doubts as to whether they change his (Jin Woo's) voice over time or not, but they have it well done. The music for the opening and ending is also well done
I'm a little disappointed and also missed opportunity of the century I didn't get the respective kirito and asuna but I'll be fine with a casting

the op was so so tbh. I'm not really a fan of these k-pop openings. It doesn't give the same hype vibe as those rock openings of certain animes like Black Clover or DS and so on
The studio should take all time they need, even delay the release if required. This looks so good, if the whole series adapts the insane quality of the manwha this is gonna be epic
they could do better than this. ive seen sao’s opening and the art is so good. i get that they lack the budget to make it as good as their other shows but they already released the fourth trailer for this. they’re getting funds through the ads.
You guys shouldnt have such high expectations bc drawing every panel is easier than animating every panel its nearly impossible so its fine if its alil bit different from the webtoon. This is a anime afterall

They've done a great job animating everything so far, im hyped to see the first season
everything is perfect, the voice acting exceeted my expectations. the opening and ending are perfect. this will be the best anime that has come out in a while and might become my favorite of all time
Sorry but the current no. 1 id jjk and itll stay like that for some time, unfortunately A1 studio has average, above average animation so the plot line will be carrying the anime a lil bit imo

For me there are animes that have some senimental value, and i re watch them at least few times in a year, also i re read solo leveling every now and then, so for an anime i think it will fit in my ethernal re watch list
And we're lucky that the studio is A-1 and not any small studios. Their artstyle and animation is a good match with the series

I had my doubts before, because I wasn’t sold on the teasers, but this trailer has made me a believer. From the music, animation, some of the epic shots reminding me so much of the manhwa panels, and the va’s, especially Sung Jin Woo’s sound absolutely incredible! I’m extremely hyped for this 💯

As someone who binge-read through about 2/3rd of the Manwha a week ago, and then just binge-read through the last 1/3rd today, this looks fire and feels exactly like what i was imagining when i read the panels. Like just taking the panels and putting them directly into animation, its crazy how good this looks

@@NioNyo s1 is already confirmed for 2 cours, 25 episodes in total; and it s a1 pictures, most of the time they do 24-25 eps seasons; so it will be most likely 2 seasons; the pacing is around 4 chapters per ep

I agree with you that solo leveling is great manhwa, and it is also my first manhwa but after read so many manhwa I can say that solo leveling is manhwa's Naruto, but there is other amazing manhwa as well

A1 is great with cgi when they re given a proper schedule, like SL does; ofc their cgi will suck when given less time; but you know production is peak when you see a1 going almost fully 2D animation which is their strongest asset
It's cool that they're retaining Haein, Jongin and Jinho's battlesuit/armor coz it's fire af. The characters will be continuously changing their outfits so I hope they do it in this anime as well. Follow it all from monster design to the characters' look and outfit (like in the manhwa, the anime must have the Drip!)
They better not Butcher the Chairmans role in the plot or I'm gonna get violent.
@@majestic8054 The hardest part with that will be keeping the tension with him. The dude mixes high-key and low-key elements in a way that really isn't common on Crunchyroll. Even in the webcomic you really never get a good sense of him until the end.

I remember reading this series as it was finishing, and I fell out of it because I got distracted by exams. Recently I binge read it and got to the end to realize I was literally one chapter away from finishing it the first time.
what would you rate it after rereading it 1-10?
@@dokujai6192 I’d give it an 8, and an A for originality. It can be pretty edgy but still has a surprising amount of humor. And it’s pretty easy to get invested in some the characters.
I do the same thing with anime, stop watching with like 2 episodes left in the season lol

This comic was the best several straight days of binging I ever spent. The story isn't exactly complicated and some people got a bit upset about the ending, but I thought it was good for what it did. This series is a never-ending hype train while the main character keeps getting exponentially stronger while most of the enemies he faces still feel sufficiently threatening.
There was like 5 or 10 more chapters that dropped and tied up loose ends really nicely.
If you like it, stop at the O.G. The sequel, Ragnarok has the classic old main characters cliche. You can continue to read if you didn’t have problem with that.

I remember reading this from day one it came out. Sun Jun Rak/ Dubu you were a legend I am so happy your work lives on and is animated in a pretty awesome way you will be missed.
I try to keep my expectations to a reasonable level but this one I have waited sooooo long for a anime adaptation and it seems like they going to be very faithful to the original works so I’m truly excited for this 😁

@@Kirito-xc1jj first of all, it wasn t studios fault with nier, everything produced this year had its issues; pierrot with code arc, mappa with aot jjk and hells paradise countless delays and production issues, zom 100, oshinoko delayed eps, and like 10-15 other animes got delayed as well; and still nier still looked absolutely god tier; but SL having a 2 ep premiere with 1 month before actual release, with such god tier animation is really a good sign; there s literally no one else who can do it better than a1

I will tell you about the 2 episodes from early screening. So spoilers ahead.
They made the foundation for one of the most popular arcs in the first scene of the first episode, the Jeju arc. They showed us the failed raid. Hunters and ants slaughtering each other. Then after explaining the world briefly we get to the construction site, the portal. Jin-Woo and his group enter. They introduce us to Go Gun-Hee, Cha Hae-In and Yoo Jin-Ho. Episode one ends with laser shot disintegrating the guy.
In the second episode, they Introduce us to Jin-Ah, her friend from the red gate arc, Jin-woo's mother, explaining rank and more world building. The episode ends with Jin-Woo bleeding on the Altar.
It was really good. There was NO CGI and even if there was, it was so well blended that I didn't notice it. And they were successful in capturing the scary atmosphere of the kartenon temple. It was actually scarier than manhwa. There was so much gore. When the laser is shot the hunters go from burning to melting to bones evaporating to disappearing into nothingness. There are so many anime original scenes. They're gonna fix the novel's and manhwa's biggest flaw, side characters and their involvement in the story.
That's so hype. My biggest complaint was the lack of character importance and the storys background feeling paper thin. 10/10 potential if they pull it off!
Now you're getting me even more hyped damn. I wasn't expecting them to do anime original scenes to expand the other characters. They didn't have to do any of that I guess this proves that A1 Pictures were a better fit after all.

Dude the animation and voice acting looks great and the action are looking cool too...I hope it comes out great as well. All the hard working people behind making this anime , writing this story or even drawing the manhwa, you guys are the true heroes for us to even enjoy such beautiful visuals, music and the overall story. Thank you for your hard work. The only thing i have an issue with here, not a big one but his badass look is a bit less badass looking than the actual manhwa. Like everytime he went into that look, his presance could be felt like a dominating one, This one does not give off that same energy.
it s still a trailer, which shows the actual production quality, there s still a few weeks and months to upgrade the actual scenes in the anime; and also it s really a good sign that there was already a premiere of the first 2 eps with 3 weeks before the actual release of the first ep, meaning they can continue to upgrade the scenes even more, maybe not those in the earliest eps, but the more hype moments
