    Trying this tomorrow. Several other RUclipsr's have done various shaving cream art but your use of a cutout stencil is unique. Others have used stencils but I haven't seen an "object" stencil. Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing your time, talent and inspiration with us.

    I did this couple days ago with my 2.5 years old son and we couldn't stop. So addictive!! He even asked me to make solar system stencil cos he loves it.. The trickier part was getting the right color for the planets..but it was surely fun. We'll do it again soon. Thank you for the idea..

    Do you know if this would work on plastic? I want to case-mod my wii and was thinking of trying this, followed by a layer of clear spray paint to seal it. Would it possibly work better if I roughed up the smooth plastic with sand paper?

    Hi Amy! I've just come across your videos and of course subscribed! Just a couple of quick questions:
    1. Do you have a preference on what type of shaving cream to use?
    2. Would any flat scraping utensil work to create the effect? I know you used a ruler and spatula - but would you say you prefer one over the other?

    Hey congratulations and thank you. I want to ask how can I fasten?

    • @merryclicker
      @merryclicker 7 лет назад

      If you mean how do you seal it, you could use any sealer that will work on paper but make sure the print is totally dry first. I found that there seems to be a "temporary" sealing property to the shaving foam, although I don't know if it's a resist that is only temporary. Since the colorants are usually water based - you could use alcohol inks or even watered down acrylic paint - you might want to use a spray sealer. Or put it behind a sheet of acetate or glass.
