I just switched from Samsung to iPhone after 12+ years and I don't regret a minute of it. And you make it sooo easy to learn and not feel stupid. Subscribed!
You are the best iPhone instructor and the only one I follow! I learn something new with each of your videos. Thank you for making them so clear and easy to understand!
Thanks for the info and the chapters! 0:29 - Space bar to select text 1:30 Change direction of panoramic photos 1:56 - Remove entire Home Screens 3:29 - Record your screen with voice over 4:32 - Take perfect Top-Down photos 5:52 - Custom Sound Recognition 7:55 - Swipe to select multiple items 8:45 - Swipe for Burst photos 9:42 - The Magnifier App 11:06 - Draw PERFECT shapes
Im an avid iPhone user and have watched many videos like this. This is one of the first times when I have learned something new. Also something that I have found helpful is with the drawing you can draw and arrow and hold it, then it will snap to a better looking arrow. Keep up the good work
If you go to Settings / Accessibility / Accessibility Shortcut then select Magnifier you can set it up so that when you Triple Click the Right Side Button on your phone or the Top Button on iPad it will open the Magnifier! ;-)
When I went to antelope Canyon In Arizona, the tour guide their taught me a very interesting trick. Basically, instead of taking a left to right panorama picture, taking up to down panorama picture, which gives you a much larger photo space of your subject with lots of color all around.
The mark-up shape recognition works with speech-bubbles. I drew a bad oval (which it often does recognize) and it spit out a perfect cartoon speech-bubble shape.
Great tips and video. I didn’t know about the simple way to make perfect shapes. I’ve always tapped the plus sign in the pencil edit area and then created my shapes from there. It’s a little more difficult but makes custom sizing and positioning pretty easy.
For the sound recognition, repeat process, use your suggestion of screen recording with microphone on if you have a second device (iPad). Record the washer sound once. Play it back five times.
This channel has to be the best recommendation ever from RUclips, thank you very much for creating this kind of content, without any BS and straight to the point. Please KEEP GOING!
Several useful tips in this video. Such as recording audio as well as video. But that last one is quite a surprise! The ability to have perfect shapes. Nice one!
A salesman in an Apple Store told me about your channel today, easily THE BEST out there . Your presentation, knowledge and clarity is first class. Congratulations I will be telling everyone I know to get onto your channel 👍👍
Believe it or not, I am struggeling with accidently falling into "select"-mode while editing a text every now and then. This sometimes even leads to deleting whole paragraphs by accident and a ton of frustration as one can easily imagine. Now I at least have a hint what to be aware of. Thanks a lot! Markus
Excellent tips, extremely well presented …many thanks! ……One point on burst photos, if you take photos in “landscape” it can be easier to use the volume buttons to activate the shutter, also if you press and hold the “plus “ volume it takes a burst photo.
Adding the torch on the magnifier has come in useful for me a few times too. Plus people need to hold still for a second or two to get the best focus then that capture is so easy to use. I have to also say how impressive your videos are in both delivery style and clarity with indicators of each item to select. You should have so many more subscribers for this quality of work. 👏🏼
The Torch feature is a great tip thanks! :) You can also pinch in & out on the screen to zoom, which is helpful. Plus try out the 'Detection Mode'. It's a really cool feature! ☺
I turned on the sound recognition last night, it drained the battery by 20% overnight (7.5 hr), and the notification sound became very loud. I have to turn it off today. Your other tips and tricks are very useful. Thanks.
It’s my first time using an iPhone just changed 2 days ago!! Stumbled upon your video and honestly have been watching a lot of your videos, you do such a great job! Keep it up :))
Is it my imagination, or are you speaking just a tad slower in this video (I haven’t watched in a few weeks)? I really appreciate it, as your episodes are so content-rich that I used to have to either keep going back in the video or slow down the speed. Thanks for the slower delivery!
Omg!! Wow! You sure are smart with all this! I was just looking at the recorder in the control center and had no idea what I was doing! Keep up the good work! I try to do what you are showing I pause the video to do it! Thank You!
OMG i thought it was me! my washing machine timer lies so i've got into habit of turning off at 20 mins then wait then doing my spin wow! Great tips...
Very nice video, I am new to iPhones and I am so happy about the keyboard erasing trick! Coming from an S23 I felt this one slow but now I know! Thanks
I am continuously frustrated by positioning the cursor and selecting text especially in my notes app which I use a lot. Thanks so much for tip number 1. Did you know it also works editing text messages?
So many truly useful tips in one video! And so well explained. To single out just one, I didn't know my phone could hear the doorbell and knocking. Can't tell you how many times I've missed these while day-sleeping in the back of my house. Color me grateful.
Hi! If you create a shared album what you are sharing with yourself, then this folder will save your included pictures even if you delete them from your phone.
D’oh! Many thanks, only now have I learnt how to use the Magnifier App. By a strange default mine had a “yellow-on-black” filter which made the app virtually unusable, because I didn’t realise it was a filter and that it could be changed. Now with “no filter” I can use the app at last 🤦♂️
Great tips, some of which I’d never heard or thought of! Please could you do a video which includes tips about the Magnifier? I use this frequently but I find the controls to be a bit unintuitive and I’d love to be able to use this as a macro camera, but the images appear to come out un-magnified..?
I absolutely love your videos! I have learned so many things about my new iPhone. I have an iPhone 14 Pro and love it but I'm loving it more and more as you teach me about all the different things I can do with it! I'm also a newsletter subscriber! Thank you so much!
Hello PHT! Is there a way to disable the rotate screen lock fxn? For some reason my 8 Plus keeps locking me out of the rotate screen. It's quite annoying! Please tell me there's a work-around.
Hi. You are doing a great job! Really informative and knowledgeable. Thank you for that. I just have one question if you don’t mind. How did you set your time in red (top left corner). Thank you.
I’ve just answered a phone call on my iPhone 11, and I would like to switch on the speakerphone, as I can hardly hear what is being said. How do I do this? Or in other words, how can I toggle my speakerphone on and off during an incoming call, when the incoming call menu is not being displayed.
Mate I have no idea why you do not have at least triple your subscribers. Content is concise, well presented and always informative thank you.
U know, takes some time... but 1mio coming on him IMO :)
Kind of you to say so!
As a former youtuber and someone with varied interests I don't subscribe to just anyone but I subscribed to this channel watching my first video!

Same here from 2016-2023 I had an android the last one was pixel 3 xl. Now I’m on iphone 15 and I love it.
You are the best iPhone instructor and the only one I follow! I learn something new with each of your videos. Thank you for making them so clear and easy to understand!
That's great to hear, thanks for the kind words!
Telling someone they are the best one amongst the only one you follow is not really a compliment
@@dnilbhr I randomly watch others, I just happen to follow this one regularly.
Thanks for the info and the chapters!

Bonus tip, pin the Magnifier to the Control Center so it's always just a swipe away. Love your content!
Good tip!

Where do you learn all these cool tips?!? Your videos never fail to teach me something new. Thank you.
Here's one. How do you forward delete on iPhone, i.e. delete the character AFTER the cursor? Really great tips BTW!
When I went to antelope Canyon In Arizona, the tour guide their taught me a very interesting trick. Basically, instead of taking a left to right panorama picture, taking up to down panorama picture, which gives you a much larger photo space of your subject with lots of color all around.
The magnifying glass app is a life saver for me to read the menu every time we go out to a restaurant or bar with a dark interior
The mark-up shape recognition works with speech-bubbles. I drew a bad oval (which it often does recognize) and it spit out a perfect cartoon speech-bubble shape.
4:32 Proper LOL moment. I was expecting top quality iPhone advice, which I got. I wasn’t expecting the gag. 😂
Great tips and video. I didn’t know about the simple way to make perfect shapes. I’ve always tapped the plus sign in the pencil edit area and then created my shapes from there. It’s a little more difficult but makes custom sizing and positioning pretty easy.

yeah that shapes snap was my favorite. I do that all the time and it always looks terrible! until now :)

3:39 Wow !! I had no idea that this was possible in iPhone. I was so envious of androidians.

Great content - long term iPhone user but a number of these were brand new to me - and super useful!!

Thank you!
Wow, I thought I knew most everything about iPhone. You are good.
Thanks! I always learn something from you. This time, it was the deep dive into the Magnifier, which never seems to be ready when opened. Nice!
Great channel, great work put in. Appreciate the professionalism.
Some good one's here I didn't know or had forgotten about-- thanks.

Tout est nouveau pour moi dans cette vidéo. Parfait 👍
2:52 I was hoping iOS17 would allow for hiding the widgets screen… but interactive widgets may make this screen more useful
You do a great job with your content, but it’s difficult to remember everything the phone is capable of, but Thank you !

Well done

Awesome page Thank you
I have found that the grid select is working less well, to the extent that I’ve stopped using it much because it’s so frustrating.
So good!
This video is extremely useful, thank you so much 🤯
burst photos was a good one thanks!
Its really a weird coincidence that i watched the part when you showed your phone at 2:28 and my time was exactly 15:19 aswell😮😮😮
Ok, I didn’t know any of these 😮! Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏
Glad I could help!

Great tips mate. Love your contents so much
I have found your video extremely helpful. Thank you 🙏
I knew about making perfect shapes but I didn’t know I could move them. This made me notice the ruler icon on the annotation menu. How do I use that?
Thanks 🙏🏻
Wonderful video….thanks so much!
Glad you found it helpful!
Wonderful, thanks for the tips 🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
So cool! Thank you! I always learn something new with every video. :)
Liked, shared and subscribed. I only knew two of the 10…
Burst photos-What is the difference between the slide and just holding the the camera button?
Holding the camera button records video.
Very very informative.

I don’t know why everyone is in love with Magnifier. Who needs that much Zoom ?
People with visual impairments...
@@ProperHonestTechI use it because I can’t see small print. I’m very grateful for this aid 😊
Thanks for sharing. Yes, few of them was really nice and not known.
