Building your own shortcuts is also very complicated, especially for those of us too old to have learned scripting, coding and the like in school. That’s unfortunate, because it seems as if Apple is going to make the most of Siri through shortcuts, rather than to just bake her new features into the OS.

@@StormyDay If you follow the steps given in the video about guided access, you can stop the screen being touch sensitive. The image you want to trace won’t be affected by pressure so you can trace it with a pen or pencil. I’ve used it for art and also when redesigning my garden. I had a survey plan and I could quickly sketch out options for where I wanted to put new features. Obviously you can do that digitally but it’s quicker sometimes to do these things on old fashioned paper. Hope that helps!

@@mskulagal Sorry for a late answer. The app is VIP Access. It is a one time password generator that syncs to a service in the cloud. When my bank gets my OTP, they send it to the service which validates. That said, it is not the app that is important but the copy and paste. I open the app on the iPhone, tap the OTP that is displayed which cause it to be copied. When I am prompted for the OTP by the banks logon on the iPad, I hit "paste" on the iPad and the OTP is entered for me. It actually works even better with SMS. On SMS the copy is automatic on the iPhone; I do not need to even look at the iPhone. and I see the OTP on the iPad and paste it with a single click. I never have to transcribe a OTP. Said another way, it is automagic.

@@mattstanley7887 don’t think so. Should be available for any iPhone able to run iOS 15+. Have to check your photos individually. When you find one with the sparkly effect around the “i”, then you can hit it and it’ll highlight what iOS found, be it a landmark, object or subject. Keep trying, and good luck. 👍🏾🍀

Cant get this to work in my 12 mini. I’m in the Philippines. Is this a regional thing?

Tried the text from photo .... get the text highlighted, but can't seem to copy & paste. How do I do that?
Also, not one single one of my photos (plants, city scenes, etc) have the info button highlighted. Do I have to put a specific setting on somewhere?

      I've done the Copy/paste text ✓

Hi, I’m currently using the 13 pro max, which I love.
I take a lot of photos of the moon, and while the zoom is amazing, I have real trouble getting the image to resolve and the moon usually just looks like a headlight. Does anyone have any tips for getting better resolution of the photos of the moon 🌚? Thanks

I didn’t know I could point any imagine with your finger and move image to any spot on same photo and doing screen shot at the same time. Best you can duplicate this over and over again. Amazing.

Oh my gosh, thank you! My phone just helped me identify a patch of poison ivy in my back yard! Amazing! I had no idea this function existed! I'll be using this often, as well as the music recognition, sound recognition and measure apps, all of which I was totally unaware of. Thank you for making my phone SUPER functional for me!
