Hi! thank you for your videos, I have watched all of them I think that I am strangest subscriber on your channel because I watch your video not only to gain some tips about iOS but also to improve my skills of good English and understanding of British pronunciation:) Warm greetings from Ukraine
Hope you’re doing well in this trouble time. Prayers to your country. As far as using it to improve English, this is actually a really good video to do it because he has very very proper BBC British pronunciation, as far as I can tell. It’s definitely what we Americans think of as classically British
As far as my accent goes - it's a pretty 'neutral' accent, as far as British accents go, although I do have a slight northern twang, as most of my family are from the north (while I've lived down south for the past 10 years). I've done a lot of voice over work over the past 5 years, and I used to get selected most often for jobs that required a non-regional British accent.

Thank you for your video! I saw your other video about a year ago when I first got my iPhone 2020, and learned what I can use Siri for. Since then she has become "my best friend." (Hubby is jealous since I'm always asking her things that I used to ask him- lol) While I can't use the parking-car aid, I did like the other fun tips like flipping a coin etc., but so VERY useful is the one where I can make/add to a shopping list. If I'm in the middle of cooking it's so much easier to ask Siri to add something to the list rather than stop, wash my hands, then do it manually.
I subscribed to your RUclips channel about a week ago, and I am absolutely loving all your tips and helpful sharing about iPhones and I think some watches I think I’ve heard you talk about watches, but just wanted to tell you I think you are great very easy to understand, and I will be watching a lot of you in the future so thank you!

Maybe you’ve already shown how, but creating and then reading a transcript of portions of your videos would help us to take a step at a time. Also, the shared Reminders shopping list apparently has to be a list in iCloud? I couldn’t get it to share otherwise. So much more to learn at 77 years old. Lol. Thank you for what you do!

Both Siri videos have great tips. Thanks. I ask Siri a lot about my battery as on my iPhone 8 it doesn't show. But I only say "Hey Siri, battery". Same with temperature. I just say Hey Siri temperature. The language translation was fun to do.
Many good ideas that I did not know. Thanks. Can you help me with another command? While walking or having an appointment - I would like to turn on Do Not Disturb(DND) for a length of time (45 minutes) or until a specific time i.e. 12:30. As it stands, without me touching the phone and going to the menu, I can only turn it on *Permanently* then sometimes I forget to turn it back on. similar to turning off the phone. I've tried alot combinations. i.e. hey siri turn on do not disturb for one hour, hey siri focus dnd one hour Any ideas? TIA
When you go to Control Centre, and you've got the DND option, tap on the bar that it's in (not the icon itself), so that you can see the three dots menu. If you tap into that, you can specify that you'd only like DND to be enabled for 1 hour (for example). It will then automatically switch itself off at the end of that time period.
@@ProperHonestTech Whoops! I forgot to ask the most important part of my question . Can I do it verbally? Sometimes it would not be 'cool' to take the phone out and scroll around. i.e. just before the Dentist starts the drilling work - I would *verbally* say "Hey Siri, turn on DND for 2 hours(or till 12:00) or until I leave this location" Maybe next version? Thanks - the video was good.
I use Siri for volume. If you have AirPods you probably know about it, but it’s more than turn up/down. ‘What’s the volume?’ And she will give your current percentage. So I learned the percentage level I enjoy and can say ‘increase/decrease volume to 70%’ For those in colder/windy climates you can ask ‘what is the windchill?’ instead of temperature. Helpful, especially in Fall/Winter.

One of my favorite Siri commands is how long will it take me to get to my destination. For example, how long will it take me to get to Bank of America Stadium is useful on GameDay. Love your tips.
Haha We get some strange animal sounds out here. But, I used this one time because I was working on Must The Winter Come So Soon from the opera Vanessa. Samuel Barber was brilliant for every note, marking, having a well thought out reason. So, wondered why he chose a G to a D. So, spent a looong time and drove my sons crazy listening to every owl sound I could find. Didn't quite get it. But, Great White Northern, I think, was closest. I'm sure that's just what sweet Siri had in mind.
Awesome video! Asking Siri what things sound like could be useful for writers who are trying to describe a sound, but don’t know what the specific animal sounds like and they don’t want to pull themselves out of their writing to Google it or look it up on RUclips.
Exceedingly much enjoy your Siri videos. No one else has done these anywhere recently and Siri is a lot more capable than some of the older videos that mention her abilities. And Siri is very helpful, especially to those of us who don’t want to take the time to look something up or whose hands are busy. In my case I have nerve damage to my fingers and it’s very helpful to decrease the amount of times I have to tap on the surface when I can use my voice instead. Do you know any short cut workarounds as to how to get Siri to search your photos like it used to do? I don’t know why Apple remove that function but any workarounds that get Siri to do it instead of having to use the search function will it be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
The last tip is SUPER helpful... Imagine this: Every day a lovely sound of bird song wakes you from bed, an orange and black bird... You know only a handful of orange and black birds can be found in your region, therefore you can easily find that bird and bird song. Perfect if you wanted to tell a friend halfway across the world what it sounds like when you wake up. Just one cool use
What does it sound like sounds useful to me. My niece said she heard the noise mountain lions make recently. She checked with neighbors and they had lost goats. It would be nice to know when to get your head ready for a potential encounter with a large scary beast.
My most used Siri command is "What is the temperature", along with "Will it rain today" and "How cold will it get tonight". A suggestion of another thing to cover would be changing Siri's accent. I live in Louisiana, USA, but find Australian English more appropriate for me. I'm going to ask Siri what ducks and geese sound like, since I live on a migratory route. However, I know domestic geese/ducks sound a lot different from the migratory ones, not to mention different species. Thanks for interesting videos!

So, wondered why he chose a G to a D. So, spent a looong time and drove my sons crazy listening to every owl sound I could find.
Didn't quite get it. But, Great White Northern, I think, was closest.
I'm sure that's just what sweet Siri had in mind.
In response to your request about 'sounds'... one can use this as a background noise. I asked for a bowling alley sound.
Awesome video! Asking Siri what things sound like could be useful for writers who are trying to describe a sound, but don’t know what the specific animal sounds like and they don’t want to pull themselves out of their writing to Google it or look it up on RUclips.
Hi🌸 although siri directs me to my current location upon saying "where am I", I don't find a share icon anywhere.please guide.🌸
It’s very useful thanks 😊
4:40 Roll a die = one "dice", Roll the dice = roll two dice. Sweet!
Imagine this:
Every day a lovely sound of bird song wakes you from bed, an orange and black bird...
Awesome tips !!!!
I live in Minnesota and I like the Australian accent as well!
In regards to the last tip, can Siri identify recordings you’ve made?
