Venom has been announced in the listings leaked a while back ago. It would be released in the third quarter in 2025 as a stand alone figure. Great video, T!

Congrats on getting the deluxe Insecticons TMan978!!! I really enjoy the amount of retooling that was done to distinguish Chop Shop and Barrage from Shrapnel and Bombshell. :D Ransack is even distinguished from Kickback, despite a new head and paint job being the only differences between them. lol Keep on being amazing.
Yeah I'm glad that they added at least some differentiating factors.
I have always used and alternate robot mode for Ransack similarly to what they did with Barrage.
Swap the hands, spin the head/arms/waist around, and turn him around. Now that back of the torso is the chest and the wings point the opposite direction.
There is a really good set 3D print files to make Ransack look way more like his original figure.
It includes the G1 gun, G1 shield, and the correct bug legs.
All that's needed is VENOM. Hello, Hasbro!
I hope it's a new mold
He's getting a mainline release for the 2025 prime line .

Thanks for the video. I'm still waiting for my set from Amazon... They have changed my shipping date three times so far. I had all of the bug transformers when I was a kid. And these bring back lots of memories.

Good idea with Chop Shop's legs! On Barrage, I left his hands out and had them hold the two leg/guns, so he now has 6 legs too.

So the delux insecticons are part of a team that are pretty much the decepticons version of the wreckers and Mallus is actually , ( this is what the transformers team officially said on the live stream ) the forge of Solus Prime , he even got her symbol on his head .
My opinion they added Mallus as a last second easter egg for the Prime line that is coming out next year .

30:04 The front horn is supposed to stick straight out the front. That's why it doesn't plug onto anything.
Would have been nice if the horn with the eyes stayed in place better

I was thinking the same thing about the shared molds, because most TF original designs, The body types are not shared very few characters have shared body design.
Now a days we have 3d printers so I am not sure why Hasbro keeps with this method and not just use scan images to create the molds.
Venom is set to come out in 2025 and yes it is a retool.
While it is weird that Bombshell and Shrapnel share so many parts, I wonder if their compromises were actually made to fit all of the extra parts for Chop Shop and Barrage. I don't think Chop Shop really needs to be separated from Shrapnel, though I agree a dedicated Barrage mold would have been better. Hopefully all the money they saved squeezing four whole toys out of the same waist and legs goes towards making Venom a unique mold (he's coming in the fall next year as far as we know), because I have no idea how you can get a decent robot cicada out of this mold.
The box art kind of reminds me of the harder lines they used on the Walmart Toxitron stuff. The funny logo on all of these figures was based on the Mayhem logo from the IDW Tread and Circuits comic, evoking the ringleader Octopunch. All of this year's Mayhem guys were in that comic or have been depicted as members in past stories, except for Barrage who is probably just here to complete the Insecticons faster.
I was really disappointed that Bombshell didn't get new legs. This is exacerbated in Barrage.
I'm definitely going to mod all my insecticons.
Though I'm hoping that since Mark implied that Venom is going to be an all new mould, that I'll at least not have to mod him when he finally comes out.

Yeah I wanted to do daily releases this week. So if I don't get the views, At least I still stuck to my goal.
The OG deluxe insecticons were garbage in bot mode. Barrage was the only one I had that had robot posability. The other 2 had static arms, yet looked really cool. These figs are retools of the other ones in this line (consider venom not present). Your money, your time so if you like them good for you... you scored a win. Wait... that sounds like tmreviews so... your cash, your prize so accept the results and you can always sell them if not satisfied. Think that's less like his saying 😂😂😅 (yet that sounds mean... sorry not my intention).
