Just letting you know what I was told from a carpet installer once. He said never use the powder carpet refresher because it filters down into the carpet and causes a sticky residue that collects dirt.
I was never told that but did experience it when removing old carpet. I like the idea of the pet baking soda cleaner for area rugs but the smell is way too strong for me.
Here is a tip I learned years ago on RUclips. The pet odor product works wonders in "boys bathrooms". Ya know, mostly hit the inside of the toilet, but plenty of accidental sprays. This is the only thing I have found to neutralize that constant odor. Also, a black light in a dark bathroom reveals all the nasties so you can really get it all clean.
I swear I learned the black light trick watching this channel (or another just like it. Lol) But I am REALLY happy to learn about this boys' bathroom trick! It always smells like pee!
🚗 Here’s an amazing tip... Spay the Foaming Super Oxygen Bathroom Cleaner on your dry Tires before taking your car through the car-wash and they will come out looking Squeaky Clean, like New Again.
I love most of these products except the furniture polish it ruined the finish on my hutch :( I also used to work at dollar tree and when I did I always told them to check your channel out and customers would come back and say thank you for the recommendation and how much they loved your channel :)

Oh my goodness! I have to share something once I saw you scrubbing the pot. I will put my pot/ pan in a plastic grocery bag. While it’s in there I spray Dollar Tree oven cleaner all over and quickly close the bag so the fumes don’t come out. After it sits for two hours I take it out and rinse it and wash to get any chemicals off of it. Seriously, no big effort and the Pan/pot looks brand new.
A quicker version of that is to put the stove on the lowest setting - just enough to warm the pot or pan up - then place bottom up in the sink and spray with oven cleaner. It comes right off!

Thank you! I wondered if the dollar tree oven cleaner was any good. I saw a guy on RUclips use Easy Off oven cleaner on baked on, dirty, half sheet pans or cookie sheets. He sprayed it on and let it sit for 30 min and then gently scrubbed it off with Brillo or steel wool. It was amazing how good they looked after. So I just bought some Easy Off to try the same thing.

I recently learned that if you take your brillo pad and out it in an airtight jar after using, it won't rust. I used a little mason jar, I think it's a pint.

The carpet cleaner she is using should be fine. I've also used with my SHARK and haven't had any issues. As long as the filters are kept cleaned and the overall vacuum upkeep is constant, the life of the vacuum should extend, and stand the test of time.
The Dyson manual specifically says not to vacuum baking soda. This may be different for other brands. Clumps of baking soda that you poured onto and imbedded into your carpet is different than the regular accumulation of dust, dirt and dander. That should not be a concern unless you live in a pigsty 🙄
HA! I swear by that stuff too! In fact I had JUST posted in here about that same thing! Imagine that! And I absolutely agree, it sure lives up to its name, that's for sure.
LA Awesome is the bomb! I get the half gallon jugs for $1. I make DIY all-purpose cleaner in a 32 oz spray bottle using a 1/4 of LA Awesome & 1/4 to 1/2 cup of rubbling alcohol and several drops of lemon essential oil, fill the rest of the bottle up with water . Works amazing and smells great. I also mop my floors with 2-3 tablespoons of LA Awesome in a bucket of hot water.

I like LA's awesome laundry soap. It's not my favorite, but honestly, as a part time working single parent, I can't beat the price of $1 for laundry soap.
I love that baking soda powder, we recently got a rottweiler and he has a strong doggy smell so I have been cleaning everything fabric with it ... smells sooooo good! Also I dont know where i was all these years, but the lime-away they sell in the dollar tree is AMAZING!! im in love!
I LOVE dollar tree cleaners! the name brand cleaners are way to strong! In my opinion any soap/cleaner will get rid of common household germs I also use the dollar tree bleach when deep cleaning my house

On of my favorites is the Brillo pads. Plus, get a better value at Dollar Tree as well. My local grocery store sells a 10-pk for $2.19. The Dollar Tree has the 8pk. You can buy 2 - 8pk for $2.00 at Dollar Tree, pay .19 less and get 6 more pads than you can at the grocery store.
I love your suggestions for most of these products. I do want to say though, that the Armorall isnt a great product for the vinyl in your car. It dries it out and can cause cracking, which will not be covered by any kind of warranty. I worked for GM for 5 years in the early 2000s, and I got so many complaints about that exact issue. A good alternative is the dollar tree wand duster. It gathers up the dust and has a wand so you dont have to stretch so far to get the entire dash. (Im short, so maybe thats not much of a concern for others, lol) Youre awesome and I love your channel. Thanks so much for the info!
Hmmm, I've never had a problem with that kind of thing, I use plain baking soda. Are you guys using bagless vacuums or bagged? I use bagged vacuums only, cleaning the bagless facts every time got to be too much.
That's what the guy said at the vacuum shop & I paid $900 on a new vacuum that's lasted longer than the $250 vacuums I'd been using prior & it's still going strong! I'm not ruining this one!
The oven cleaner that was next to the pledge in the video works great! Im sad to say i didnt clean my oven for 4 years 😱. I used that followed the directions and it worked great! Although open some windows while using it and wear a mask
The oven cleaner next to the wood polish is AMAZING. I use it on my stainless steel stove caps and on pans that have burn stained marks and it did wonders.
I use the Scott brittle from the dollar store to wash my bathroom and it lasts for two weeks atleast. Those green sponges are the key and are way cheaper than the actual brand.

Yes! The pet stain product is amazing!! My baby has taken to an area in my office. So I baby gated the office off picked up extra bottles of it, poured a whole bottle and a half into a plain spray bottle (for ease on my hand 😄) and soaked the whole area. Waiting for it to dry real well (the key to any carpet cleaning is dry time). What a difference so far!! I have always use this product when my old boy was still alive. He would have accidents. This is an excellent product!!

I always get my cleaning products from dollar tree I don't go any were else when there products work just as good cleaning products don't last forever so why not spend a dollar on them, I love the awesome carpet spot cleaner wow the first time I got one my mind was blown I had a coffee shop I've tried everything to get it out and it was still there I got the spot cleaner from dollar tree and It came right out the first try I was so impressed 😱

successor29 I think it just means you use a black light to find where the pee went, because if you don’t clean the pee off it will always smell. :)

We ditched furniture polish years ago. It does leave a film and ruin your furniture and it's toxic. A good microfiber works great :)

I use the Dollar Tree oven cleaner on my charcoal grill grates in a garbage bag. They look brand new.
I love the bag idea. I'm going to give it a try. That way I don't have to worry about the fumes and I don't need a drippy mess in my clean oven.

Recently found out that vacuuming up powders like that deodorizer is actually bad for your vacuum!

The oven cleaner next to the wood polish is AMAZING. I use it on my stainless steel stove caps and on pans that have burn stained marks and it did wonders.

I use the Scott brittle from the dollar store to wash my bathroom and it lasts for two weeks atleast. Those green sponges are the key and are way cheaper than the actual brand.

You are so right about the Brillo pads! I love them and use them often to keep my cookware looking new.
Dollar tree also sells an ammonia free foaming glass cleaner now.. you can use on your car windows with tint..

Yes! The pet stain product is amazing!! My baby has taken to an area in my office. So I baby gated the office off picked up extra bottles of it, poured a whole bottle and a half into a plain spray bottle (for ease on my hand 😄) and soaked the whole area. Waiting for it to dry real well (the key to any carpet cleaning is dry time). What a difference so far!! I have always use this product when my old boy was still alive. He would have accidents. This is an excellent product!!

I always get my cleaning products from dollar tree I don't go any were else when there products work just as good cleaning products don't last forever so why not spend a dollar on them, I love the awesome carpet spot cleaner wow the first time I got one my mind was blown I had a coffee shop I've tried everything to get it out and it was still there I got the spot cleaner from dollar tree and It came right out the first try I was so impressed 😱
