I never knew any of this. But--Whenever I see Matt on the program I have always had a terrible feeling in my gut that something is not right with this man. A terrible check in my spirit.
I have the same check in my gut whenever I see or hear his name mention.
You are not alone. I use to have that feeling every time I would see him hold the mic for Paul Sr, pretending to be interested in what he was saying, I knew then. And then you did not see PJ anymore, I knew something happened.
And then I read about the lawsuit about PJ daughter, Jan blaming her. And that day Paul Sr prayed over Matt when he handed TBN over to him. I stood in front of the tv I was not at ease, I have been telling my family for years. And I said he is going to change things, how far will he go ?
I never been comfortable with Matt, I don't watch it much. The only thing that is consistent with him is change and mess. So many changes because there is mess. TBN is not stable. He has to much junk up there, the stuff he enjoys, which does not have to much or anything to do with the Lord.
Matt once said he does not sing or anything like that. He said his wife is the one in the family that does that. Well his wife cannot praise God for him. He sits there with not much emotion, is he trying to be cool or is it the fact there is nothing there ? I don't know how one can be of God and never sing His praises or get emotional about the KING of glory. Matt keeps the same game face, say the same thing. I guess him saying come on, when someone is speaking is his best.
I always said it probably would of been better with PJ. Some people I spoke with forgot about PJ. They would say they have another son ? I said yes his name is Paul Jr, he use to be up there. I've seen PJ on Daystar celebrating something with them. I would say he can't even go on the network in which his parents created.
Daystar has changed some since Marcus has been gone, as well. And not for the better.
As we get closer to Christ Jesus return these things will happen. Some might start with you, but not all will finish with you, sad.

Only a relationship with God like Paul Jr. has can keep you from becoming/being bitter. I watched TBN from the beginning in 1973 up until the time I read an article in the LA Times published around 2003. Recently, while I was channel surfing, I came across TBN and watched for a while; it appears to be a shell of itself. The wrong son is running it.
I had discernment for that show many years ago and didn't know why.
The Crouch's like to travel. They have gone way beyond Billy Graham. I cant get into the money grubbing lifestyle made on a stack of Bibles. Jan was once plastered on a segment where she replied sarcastically to a guest. When they repeated that episode that segment was edited out.
I do miss Paul Crouch Jr I always wondered what had happened to him I knew he left I wasn't sure of why but now everything makes sense to me
It truly doesn't matter what I say, but I believe every word of Paul Crouch Jr. said, he always appeared to be a sincere man of God and we all fall short.
I read all about this on the internet. How could Matt turn on his blood brother. I stopped watching it aftet I had read full research on Kari's testimony in court. I am glad that Paul Jr moved on. God bless him and his family and for standing up for his family.
I enjoyed Paul Jr. on TBN because his heart came through as a kind peaceful and humble man. His voice was soothing and felt so close to the Lord. I really stopped watching afterwards. So glad God is blessing him and rewarding him with new platforms. This may be where God wanted him all along.

Sunshine is the best antiseptic. It is time for judgment to begin with the house of God. We have compassion for all involved, including those who were weak in alcoholism and sexual sin. May the Lord restore everything the enemy stole from this family.
As a long time sober AA member I relate to how hard you worked on your dad. Too many christians do not take advantage of proven secular therapy and recovery. Prayer saved me but the person who's been sober 37 years needed all the help I could get and God provided for me. Good luck to you sir

The prophets have said much will be exposed and we won't like it all and will be shocked at some! This is an example of it. I didn't see this coming, but the church is being cleansed! So thankful for PJ heart. I was a past employee of TBN. I worked in the prayer call center as a lead. Matt Crouch was the most corrupt leader I ever worked for. Matt treats his employees horribly, there was so much abuse and toxicity within the departments. Unfortunately Matt has narcissistic tendencies and is very arrogant. He sees his employee’s as a liability not an asset.PJ has such a servants heart. It brings such confirmation to all the hurt and pain I experienced as a employee. Thank you again for you’re strength and courage.
I sympathize with you and I believe you. I am glad about some things Matt has done, like getting Benny Hinn and Paula White off the air and getting rid of the disgraceful telethons
I once heard Paul Jr say on the air that Tammy Faye Bakker had been the biggest spiritual influence on his life. I was astonished
because I had a pretty low opinion of her. But it seemed to indicate that he didn't get anything from his parents spiritually
So it is not surprising that Matt turned out badly
I believe this is the truth. A similar thing happened in my family, and I know the pain of the denial you get from the person you are trying to help...as well as them being untruthful and turning others against you. Thank you for sharing this in the right spirit. Your sober attitudes and tears reveal you are in the godly position. Praying for Cara to continue to heal from the betrayal by many. I stopped sending money to tbn when the crouches were still alive,then eventually stopped watching that network

One of the things they changed was our Old TBN website with all those archived Praise the lord programs which we cant access now....sad!
We watched TBN for years, and my son warned us, God told him, He is soon going to shake TBN!

TBN is about hocking vitamins and seeing where the Crouches get to open up yet another satellite to collect money on and yet they also became publishers. How many books do they get a cut on? How can there be a book of the week!! no of the day??? Fabulously wealthy on a stack of bibles.

My memory is a bit hazy on this, but many years ago I believe Jack Van Impe and maybe Hal Lindsey spoke of their disagreement with how Matt Crouch and Jan were 'taking over' TBN.
Didn't Matt did not allow Hall Lindsey to return to TBN. They certainly did not extend his contract.
Jack Van Impe was let go when Matt took over.
I believe they were both axed. Matt did not want end times discussed was my understanding. THAT shows where his heart is. I don't think he's deep with the Lord or His Word.

I stopped watching TBN when Matt and his wife took center stage. I did not discern a true deep relationship with Jesus in him. Thought he was shallow. He was ignorant on the return of Jesus which tells me he's more interested in the world. I don't have much of an impression of his wife. Matt reminded me of a spoiled and coddled son. Paul Jr seemed to have the spirit of Jesus on him. We most certainly are to discern who's words we are giving our time and attention to.
what happened to PJs first marrage ? I watched TBN for years and years until Jan died , I never watch Matt and Lorie, something is not right there
No one is perfect but God’s perfect law is and so is Jesus.
I understand why Paul shared his story as a supporter of his pop’s. 😢
But I am grateful for what Paul Sr and Jan did in order to do the work of the Lord. Like King David, the Crouch Senior’s weren’t perfect but I do thank God for their contributions.
Thank you also to Paul Jr., for trying to make sure everything was done the right way.
I miss you Paul Jr. and things were just never the same without you. And so, when you weren’t there anymore, well, I just knew something was missing and the TBN program never was the same since then. To me, you were the - REAL DEAL- and so, ever since then I’ve never been back and like the old saying goes-“All’s well that ends well, I guess “-even though that might not be the case in this situation. So, the next best thing is, leave it in the hands of G-d - Amen and Shalom.
So sad. Many would say why now all this is coming out and why at all? This is the problem with the church today. We see sin and are expected to keep quiet and say in God's timing it will be exposed. To everything there is a time and season..... This must have been really difficult to go through and to speak about. God's grace PJ. Jehovah is shaking the Church. Too much sin in the church and so many more Christians will be exposed. I feel so sorry for you Paul Jr and family. God always provides for his children. I hope and pray that those who covered up the lies repent because the exposing won't be pretty if they don't. I watched TBN occasionally for a short time back in the late 70’s and early 80’s and felt that Jan and Paul Crouch were charlatans. Many of their “name it and claim it” guests were a real turnoff. Unsound teaching and not Biblical. The focus was always on money. So, I’m not surprised to hear about this news. Their show did open my eyes as to whose teachings I should stay away from and what was happening with evangelism in the churches. I was looking for a better walk with the Lord and He led me to walk away from the TV evangelists! All I really need is scripture. The ACTUAL word of God!

Hello Paul, I loved your story because I grew up as a baby Christian watching TBN starting 30 plus years ago. My wife and I now have a very small ministry in the Philippines with a small youtube channel, desiring to make as big as impact for Jesus as we can. We only have 2 small Hidef handheld camcorders and are doing the best we know how. Is there anyone who can help us create the best video quality possible? I have tried to do some research but am very limited in my understanding on what we equipment we should start out with. I am not asking for any kind of hand out or anything, just technical assistance and what is best for our budget. We do both wireless and wired recording. Any help you can offer would be very grateful. Thank you. Mark
I knew there were problems, but I loved Paul Crouch Sr. because of his love for the word of God. I pray that as you pray for each other that forgiveness and the love of God can mend your hearts.

Alcoholism and drug addiction is a horrible thing. I grew up with it, however my home didn't have God in it. But it's kinda hard to have God in your home when you have opened the door to the devil. I am sorry for your pain. The only thing you can do is forgive and let God heal you and your family.
I think they were in family owned business,not pastors and the real pastors never saw this mess.what happens to the monies they asked followers to support evangelising?Just asking.
I do not know about anybody else but I was like glued to the story. When he said Jan was kissing Jesus I was like nawh Jan I need popcorn for this yall. You know sometimes it is best to love your family from a far. Peace is more important than anyother thing that you can image. Honestly, even the music at the end of the video, I am totally looking for part 2 of this thing.
You could tell it was a painful thing for this man to do. Many others currently playacting will be exposed later. Jacob Prasch did talk about many of these people long ago
I stopped watching TBN long ago, and I think of all the harm they've done with the false teaching, and outright heresy that flows through that network. But I am sorry for the troubles that Crouch's family has experienced. It's a difficult way to walk.
TBN is a beautiful station to watch. Although they show commercials that have nothing to do with the word of God. I do miss Paul. In the same breath, Daystar does the same thing since Marcus passed away, I miss Jonathan & Suzy & there kids. Change is difficult for all of us. I enjoy both stations, we are blessed to be American's living in the 🇺🇸.

Jan and Paul lived separately in two different houses. Paul was an alcoholic and was bisexual. Jan had several lovers and had a child with a man named Richard DuBois who had been one of Mae Wests muscle men in her stage show. He later became a minister himself. One of her sons is the product of this relationship.
God doesn’t have a timeline of when the truth will come forth… But this I know is that it will come forth!!! Prayers for the family 🙏❤️

I don't watch TBN much anymore only to see Huckabee and the other Crouch son and his wife I really don't care for I never have trusted them for some reason I don't know maybe it's just me
Matt always has foot in mouth disease, my narc ex had that too. I am pretty sure Paul Sr. suffered from his codependency and covering for his wife's indiscretions big time.
TBN is no where near the station it used to be. I just can’t watch it anymore. No anointing no power as it used to be. Matt & Laurie have destroyed that station.

Paul is telling the truth. Trust me. Neither Jan nor Paul were saints. They still did great things for God. Paul was a true pioneer. This young man needs your prayers not put downs. There’s two sides to every story. Those of us in Nashville knew this. Only God knows the dynamics of a family. He was mistreated. I pray he will move forward and be the man he is. I could have been vindictive it really hurt my father and I. You see my father is still alive he's 81 my mother died early 60s she favored my brother she wouldn't stop and allow us my brother and I just work together and my brother benefited so he didn't care that my mother was still hurting broken it's just sick you didn't care. My dad was going to make me administrative pastor and she told my wife well that may not be what God wants and they give my dad the senior pastor it's our church and we'll do what we want to do with it I believe that was after he retired. I walked away from what I thought was a million dollars in Bedford Texas... here is what nobody knew but my father. He still had the authority eventually he had to my brother got dementia in the church that he was supposed to take care of fell in disrepair sold. I don't have a relationship I said my peace with my family everyone of my mother's Family understood what happened what happened and why my mother why my mother behave that way the first born should be treated like a firstborn you can't have that and work together. My grandfather would not acknowledge the sin and ask my mother for forgiveness even after I explained how it messed my brother and I up. When I confronted him and he said no I told him that I would after he's gone have to deal with this problem and I did I dropped it and I walked away from the family. I believe whatever I lose in this world if they are in Christ I will have them back. I am proud the way you handle you have my respect. It does make me wonder how many messed up families and Ministries you know what the word says there was criteria for certain work inside the church in the New Testament and in the old God chose Abraham because he would command his children. As a loving father he took care of his family.

PSE RECONCILE WITH YOUR FAMILY GOD S WILL
This man is in my prayers. Even though Jesus said "go and sin no more", this is not what happens to anyone except Jesus himself. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". this is used in the past tense but in reality, we continue to "fall short". Being a Christen means constantly trying to grow in our relationship with the Lord. God says when we are first "born again" we are like babies that require only milk, but as we grow and feed on the word we mature as Christens. We Christens sin almost every day. We are not superior but simply fighting the same battles against Satan as none Christens.
I believe that this is why the bible was written showing the flaws in the men and women who were depicted there. Almost all, with the exception of maybe Job, showed weakness when it came to resisting sin and following God's word. That is not to say we celebrate sin but it means we show compassion for others that are fighting these demons. We, Christens, hope through reading the word, walking closely with Jesus, and following his commandments, we can have his help to fight sin.
I do feel now that TBN is allowing adverting it is fast going downhill. It is, in my opinion, a step in the wrong direction. Time after time people stated that they came upon TBN while "channel surfing" and they stopped to watch. With ever-increasing advertisement time slots, who knows how many people have just surfed right by and TBN failed to hold their attention. It is a very questionable decision in my view. I also noticed that the number of advertisers is increasing at an alarming rate. They are going the way of cable TV. When they first came up with cable (before that you got few channels but they were free), the big draw was they are without advertising. People paid to subscribe to have more channels and avoid advertising. They slowly begin to sneak advertising in more and more until now a half-hour program has about 15 minutes taken up with ads. They, TBN, are going down that same slippery slope. It kind of reminds me of the money changers Jesus drove out of the temple.

Did you seek God's help in all of this? Seems the first thing to do to is ask for his help and guidance. I didn't hear God mentioned at all in this interview. Not condemning you but if you are a christian organization that should have been top priority.

Not certain how credible this interview is after both parents are deceased AND if I remember correctly this is the son who was written out of their will.
Well it appears to me whenever you confront someone in their sins and the person you're confronting have millions you won't be left anything , I'm sure he knew that.

I just saw that full interview a little while ago and commented on it. I had read a lot online. It's good to hear directly from PJ himself. He should probably do a production and create a movie about this. Any other movie wouldn't tell the truth.
Just forgive them and move on. Otherwise God won't forgive you your short comings too
