my class just got an assignment to build a rube Goldberg machine and my teacher showed us this and i nearly fell out of my seat and i found out this other girl watches them too and we just talked about them for a while and it was great and now i have a new best friend.

right now in physics were studying these machines for the mechanical advantage and what not, I would the outline and set up for this machine for my class. thank you.
Were doing a similar project in science and the prompt is: "How can we make a Rube Goldberg machine that shows energy transfers and will engage children at the Children's Museum." So my project worked like this, A domino track knocked a marble down a paper towel tube which unconnected a circuit which was powering an unconnected fan. When the fan turned off, it would fly up and knock spaghetti into a pot of boiling water. It actually worked and we're able to cook spaghetti in class.
HOW BRILLIANT. even thought you got help creating this video I found your hard work truly inspiring. we can see in this video how not only the all the time used on filming this, but the work before like building the machine
