Donald O’ Connor had a talk show briefly during the 60’s where he said he regretted doing the Frances, talking horse movies. His guests didn’t reply, but you could see he felt these movies had affected his prestige. But the video is saying they were made during the late 40’s or early 50’s? And, if so, by the time of MGM musicals like ‘Singin in the Rain, he was certainly a star of the screen. Working side by side with Gene Kelly.

I had no problem with this video. The majority of the pictures are very clear. Sometimes you can get a better picture using the settings. It’s a shame because it is quite an interesting and informative video.

I remember seeing the Francis movies on TV in the 60s on the weekend matinees. My mom was a huge fan.
