Travel through the AMAZING Ruta del CARES, from ASTURIAS One of the MOST MAGNIFICENT HIKES in SPAIN

Picos de Europa National Park extends through Asturias, Cantabria and Leon, and it hosts one of the most amazing hikes in all Spain. With a distance of 12km between Poncebos and the small mountain village of Cain, this path goes alongside the Cares River, which boasts turquoise green water which runs down from the mountain and it offers incredible, breathtaking views, walking on the edge of the ledge. It's an accesible trekking, with no major slopes but it's long (we walked 29km in total), an it's not recommended for people with Vertigo, since in occasions the distance between the path and the abyss is really small.
