Before finding this channel I didn't really care for goldfish, but now after watching you for a while I'm actually thinking about getting into the hobby myself! Thank you Luke!
Talking about plants, I've heard that you can also keep anubias with goldfish They are very easy to care for plants, kinda like the pothos but under water, and I've heard that they are too thick for the goldfish to bite through
I just want to truly appreciate all the hard work you do this is teaching me a whole lot. I am a new beginner and I’m excited and I’m taking everything every advice you have done so far.
Jimmy and Gizmo are cute but I have to say Tuco is my favorite! I love Tuco's coloration, It's like he has a tuxedo, and all he needs is a bow tie. All in all he's a very curious and energetic little guy. 😁
that is true. if your fancy goldfish came from south-east asia, then they prefer warmer water. as we all know south-east asia is a hot place and america is cold. the water temperature habitat is obvious.
This is the best video you’ve made so far, you seem to have had learned a whole lot yourself! Very informative, recently got a 75 , thinking about putting some water cows in there
Nice setup man I love it I had some goldfish too with photos, elodeas, some plants I don't know their name in English but in Spanish they're called Amazonic Swords (Espadas amazónicas) and some small vallisnerias. Surprisingly they don't eat them at all. And a small bank of corydoras.
Great useful video Thanks from all of us just starting out… Would be good to know how much/ little to feed to maintain balanced nitrite/ nitrate levels, including pees and broccoli etc…from water change to water change….
Im so sorry for sounding dumb...but heaters scare me...can't the fish burn themselves when they touch it? 🙏💕 I LOVE your content! Thank you for educating us.
Hye - I keep reading that fancu goldfish are too inbreed to survive well.. if this is true-- are there any facnices that bridge the gap between fancy and common for the best of both worlds.
I'm surprised you don't have two smaller heaters in there, having two smaller ones in a long tank like that helps keep the temp more stable than one big one. That's how we did my 60G tank
You have 3 goldies in a 60 gallon? Is that best for 3? I originally only wanted 1 fish but i dont want to be cruel, so i researched a bit and they said 3 minimum in a 55 gallon. Ive been wanting fish for a while now but i want them with personality, i know they want food but i like to think theyre happy to see me.. lol lve been doing research. I want to know as much as I can before caring for anything. If it's in my care, i want to do my best.
Where did you buy this beautiful goldfish I'm here in Santa Monica California is hard to find this kind of goldfish this couple 3 years... I use API stress zyme $ 29 for one gallon 3 year ago now is $ 60 for one gallon last me two to 3 years for 60 gallons fish tank with 8 lions head goldfish and change water once 30% every 3 months or every 6 weeks for the fish to growing faster save me a ton of time carrying the bucket and waste a lot of water even I use it to water my garden feeding 3 times per day 3 minutes finish eating ....
Water changes also provide needed minerals from the water. We don't know how fast minerals get depleted. My goldfish seem happy with the weekly water changes. I do about 75% weekly. Why not?
Low/no water change tanks are where it's at. All my tanks except for my goldfish are to a point where the plants take care of the nitrogen compounds and I just top off the water. It let's you spend so much more time just hanging out with your fish!
I keep asking but, How big a tank do you actually need for a chicken nugget, and is it ok to get just one, for keeping, not breeding? How much should I pay for one at entry level? And I don't mind quarantining them. Ranchus I mean, I want a nugget!
2:52 that is the fanciest name for aquarium sand I have ever heard lol. Also from the stuff I have at home and the ones I need to buy even though having gold fish would be pretty hard I have found some smaller fish species that should be fine in my 10 gallon tank so not only will keeping fish now be easier it should also be surprisingly cheap now I just need the equipment and everything should be alrigth
i got a plat and it maked my gold fish's sick but they are good the plant is live but is not in the tank no more but how do i know it wont make my gold fish's sick again it been in a different water for 2 weak or so
Hey Luke, love your videos! Can I help you out with the Chinese tho? Yuan would be pronounced more like ywen, as in Gwen or wen. Keep them nuggies content coming! :D

Me and my friends think your goldfish are the cutest
These fish are ao cute! I hope to someday own a Goldie that you've grown! Take care! And thank you for putting all this effort into your vids!
You took very care of them
How long have you been running this tank? Are the sponge filters producing enough filtration by themselves? Thanks!
What are your nitrate levels? Curious to know since you have the pothos in the tank
AMAZING fish. Day 3 of asking you to get a betta.
I love their chonkyness!
Thanks Jimmy Goldfish for Jimmy The Goldfish

Luke, can you try sharks?
I'm surprised you don't have two smaller heaters in there, having two smaller ones in a long tank like that helps keep the temp more stable than one big one. That's how we did my 60G tank
You prefer two small ones instead of one big one? 😂 size does matter tho, those things get way hotter
Excellent upload and share
Don't you want to make sure you have the air pumps above the tank, just in case power turns off and water backflows into your pump?
Hey Luke you make a video explaining on how they need a heater I would really appreciate it
Can you tell me where I can find a stand that I could fit one of those 60 gallon breeder tanks on for my living room that's not really expensive?

Water changes even with okay nitrate bring new minerals into the water which is good for them
Where did you buy this beautiful goldfish I'm here in Santa Monica California is hard to find this kind of goldfish this couple 3 years... Sponge Filter + Plants, got it.
Low/no water change tanks are where it's at. All my tanks except for my goldfish are to a point where the plants take care of the nitrogen compounds and I just top off the water. It let's you spend so much more time just hanging out with your fish!
I’m kinda dumb and maybe you mentioned this already, but why didn’t you quarantine these three?
yo! why not add some mossballs in there! goodfish snek and they handle nitrates nicely! Also I heard duckweed is pretty edible for nuggets
What is the best filters to recommend to a Fish tank
You should try the aquarium co op sponge filters there awesome
How many goldfish can you keep in the 60 gallon ?
I have a question for Luke. Are you going to breed those fish in the future or are they just pet gold fish? I'm fine with whatever you do tbh
Bro is Goldfish King

Hi, can I setup goldfish tank with size 68cm x 28cm x 28cm ?
Love your fishy nuggets!
How are working sponge filters?
Does he add fertilizers to this tank? Or is the biology from the fish enough to grow the plants?🤔
I keep asking but, How big a tank do you actually need for a chicken nugget, and is it ok to get just one, for keeping, not breeding? How much should I pay for one at entry level? And I don't mind quarantining them. Ranchus I mean, I want a nugget!
Can we put 2 fancy goldfish on a 4 gallon tank? Dont have money to buy a bigger tank
Bruh, this video is old but this Luke has the capability of adding quick release hose to the window to do the water draining faster.
Day 7 or 8 of asking Luke to name one of the red cap nubben
Is it okay for fancy Goldfish to have a tank thats 36 inches in length and 18 inches high?
