you're the king come back
First of all thank you for taking the time to make another video.. Great update on Telford, as an American i don't get over there so its nice to hear about it.. The new tamiya spit will definitely find a space in my stash as i have built a few of the earlier versions. Hopefully you have time to make more videos..
No new videos in over a year? Where have you gone?
Nice to see you back Spencer. Always enjoy the videos. Look forward to seeing the Spitfire progress.
Love the German Mistel on the cabinet behind you. It's a real eye catcher.
hi! Spencer where are you ? i haven't seen any new video on youtube !!!
O M G £120 for a plastic toy model😨..when I was 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 years of age I used to spend days building and painting Airfix and Revel Models of plane's and boats then had a great time re enacting famous battle's where we would set light to them all in the back yard great fun. Used to write letters to all the Great British Aircraft manufacturers at the time and received back poster's to cover my bedroom walls. Then went on to work at an Aerospace Company but sadly now along with all the other great Aircraft and Ship Building companies just waste land is left.😢
Steve Jones well they are trying to compete with tamiya’s 1/32 super detail kits.
£ 120 ! FU** !
Nice to see you post a Video again Spencer ...thanks.
Good to see you back Spencer !
Built the Tamiya Spitfire MK1 In 1.48 scale last year. Its a beautiful kit Goes together so well mate 👍
StrikeEagleModels Scale aircraft. What, the all new 2018 Tamiya tooling? No offence, but I don’t think so.
Simonize41 I build the old Tamiya Spitfire! Didn’t say anything about the new one 🤨🤔
It’s always a pleasure to watch your videos. I’m surprised you have had enough time to prepare for this edition since the show. I’m also wondering how big the collection of stickers alongside the camera is. Anyway, thanks again Spencer.
In this case I winged it! No stickers, hence me losing my train of thought half way through!
Hello Spencer, good video and interesting comments about the new kits at Telford. I am definitely a glass half full person with regard to the new kits. We are living in a golden age with regard to the production of kits. I would dearly love a WNW Lancaster and HP 0/400 and will divest my self of other kits to get one. There is something very calming about building good kits and the new Tamiya 1/48 scale spitfire looks like a beauty.
I like the new work space ‘Shed mk2’ and I am fascinated by your no clutter approach to your area. I think polar opposites are always interested in the other side. Hence you can imagine what kind of workspace I prefer. - I love shelves.
I have two desks to work on and always have two kits in the making at one time. One is usually on message and a supposedly serious attempt at what I like e.g. a Wingnuts kit at the moment whilst the other is not - a Matchbox 1/76 Challenger complete with base presently. I find it useful to have a second kit to work on whilst the other has drying or setting time so I can ping pong between the two.
Regards, Andrew.
Good to see you back on the box Mr Pollard - excited by the Hellcat and got one on pre-order (May will soon come around).
Thanks for making a new video, enjoyed all the previous episodes
I am waiting for the Special Hobby Siebel Si-204, i think the kit is still not available.
I really wish that Tamiya would consider a 1/48 Hawker Hurricane/Sea Hurricane. We all know how good it would be, and it would sell. If you’re listening Tamiya, please consider making one.🙂👍🏻
Great to see you back and thanks for the review.
Nice kit...but no engine?
Hi Spencer, good to see another video. You sir are the master of model making videos in my opinion. I am retiring very shortly so will have a lot of spare time on my hands. I think you should probably send me the 0400 when it arrives so I can build it for your magazine. If this is not possible, just send the Lanc.. that'll have to make do!!
This was worth the wait.
Missed your insightful opinions and entertaining hand waving :D
I do that a lot, don't I?!
Not aircraft but Tamiya have recently started to put out new versions of their earliest armour kits, and as you mentioned, the Zero.
If you look on Tony’s model store channel he got sent one from tamiya and has built and painted his so you can see how the fit and gear works.
and what do you think about the price?
Though I have no actual RRP, I'm seeing that it will be around £35, which I think is entirely what I would expect for a new Tamiya kit that includes the features that this one does...
@@SpencerPollardScaleModels thanks very much ! does reflect the quality of this kit ! have a great nite over there and take care ! hope to see soon your new video about ?????? possibly the kittyhawk yak 130 building
I don't understand how You can compare this to an Eduard Profipack?Eduard offers color PE, PRE-CUT masks, Cartograf decals and twice the number of schemes/decal options.Tamiya also needs to make money and since Eduard have created (and taken) a huge market and interest for Spitfire and Bf 109 kits in 1/48 so of course Tamiya jumps in to grab a piece of the cake. The competition from Eduard forces Tamiya to include some PE and Masks since this is what the market leader in the segment does. However...Yes Tamiya are the undisputed masters of engineering and moulding quality. But NOT when it comes to instructions, decals or PE. And the pre printed kabuki tape for masks is pretty useless compared to pre-cut ones.I wish someday Tamiya would focus not only on the plastic, if Eduard can do it surely Tamiya can to.Finally, Eduard kits are not beginners kits. Tamiya on the other hand are designing their kits for beginners and up. Why they come up with these clever engineering (same with the 109) that only they can pull of with their outstanding precision and quality of moulding. Seen a build of this kit (ruclips.net/video/jUK_Df2AmQ8/видео.html) and the parts fit is crazy good.Cheers
Coffees gone cold!
It had!!!

Yawn.... Over 20 minutes of randomness to get to the subject....... really???
