Love this. Nothing new we have seen it all before BUT it's something we can very easily drift out of doing and getting into bad habits leads to others being introduced by us to try and compensate. Back to basics is a good training aid. Thanks for this from your new academe looking forward to more content from you.
Since you got me tilting back more my driving has become the mainstay of my game..all i have to do is keep thinking "don't sway" and everything's rosy.. Good tips...👍
One thing I would like to add that worked for me is the following. I am a short senior golfer. Only 5 ft 6 inches tall. No way I should be using a standard length shaft on driver. I know that scenario can perhaps vary with the individual but a short golfer usually would have trouble finding the sweet spot on the club face. So, not only is the loft on my driver 12 degrees but.... I adjusted the shaft length to exactly 43. 75 inches. Right around the suggested length for a 5 ft 6 inch golfer. Results? Much greater control. Hitting fairway almost all the time and the improved ball strikes with shorter shaft length have not resulted in any lost distance. Playing with shafts that are too long is very ill advised for a short golfer in my opinion. The driver used to be a weakness . Now its a strength. Great video Andrew !!!!
brilliant andrew. i don't suffer with speed really (100mph) with my driver but these are still useful tips to have in the locker. great to see you back on the Tube! always enjoy your videos! Best, Peter
I still play the Taylormade sldr driver at 12.5degrees ,high launch low spin average 250 m my age 63 .Great video advise for most golfers, I also have a short back swing ,Thanks
