He is ELITE at making NOTHING into 3, 4 or 5 tough yards. Don’t look at his long runs to judge his talent. Long runs aren’t how he frustrates defenses. It’s when they think they got him in the backfield and he turns it into something positive that gives opposing coaches grey hairs.
I expect Bentley and Hill-Green to have a big game. This offense is really, really good. As much as I enjoy seeing Shilo lay the wood on folks, Stoutmire should start over him. He's been burned over the top several times and this is a team that has the horses to expose you for that.
As a D2 player, who played outside linebacker, this type of running back, who is not tall but muscle mass, was always a nightmare to tackle, give me a 6ft 2 running back anyday, no matter the weight, those short running backs carry their loads close to the center of their body, only thing to do with this type of back is, you need 2-3 tacklers at the contact.
look at the team he's playing. All the films show undisciplined players. We are 13 in defense The 250 QB and 250 RB CFU finished a 400 game and did not get 100 yards. Nebraska's two running backs had a combined total of a hundred yards. The last three games against us. 11 trips to the red zone 27 points.
Yeah, he’s tough. I thought Tech went away from him in the second half last week. He and Jeanty are the only two running backs to have 100 yard game in each game this season. Our front seven will have it’s work cut out for them.
But we have to tackle the right way and not over run the play. Speed means nothing if we can't tackle. They have to break down before the tackle and swarm to the ball
we could lose this game because Texas Tech from the top down respects Deion and CU's players. So guys might not play too hyped and with pace opposed to these other teams that didnt respect us and tried to come out steamrolling. They tended to get winded early and by half time were looking out of shape (i.e. other teams SB).
I disagree , them boys are ready to play . You can have respect for an opponent and dominant them . They have an opportunity to play in the big 12 championship , ain’t no way they not gonna be hyped .They know they need this W
I'd argue that I think what we're witnessing is the true strength of Colorado being based in the mountains, & having a Georgia-level conditioning program done at altitude for high level athletes That additional O2 burst they get in their bloodstream being back on ground level is why these guys look so fresh at the end of the games I expect the Texas game to look very similar to what we saw at TCU and UCF
@willh69 I can see that. I think these guys have looked so good partly due to our conditioning, which definitely involves that. Imo because of that boost, like the Nuggets in the NBA during their finals run, we will win out.
@@boblansonfig3972 I'm saying Tech will come out paced and ready to play, I expect Deion to have us ready. But how Tech opens up the line for runs is one of our biggest weaknesses. And they haven't come in throwing shade, like many other have. So I think they will take us seriously
@@RBiko-wf3eu I just remember Cam at the end of the UCF game after his fumble TD return taking his helmet off, after doing everything he did in that game full speed, and not looking like he sprinted a whole 100 yards, in fact looking like was the first play of the game. No puffing, nothing. Inhuman
As a Tech fan, I’ve never seen a fanbase like CUs so dedicated to preparation and knowing their opponent. This is special. Good luck Saturday fellas.
Tech lb is a beast
This video was easy to watch, I appreciate CT being able to have more relevant input now. 👊🏿

Ngl. I hope they have serious prepared for him. Last 2 years players have had career days against CU.
They will be fine . They had a taste from Kstate’s running back , they know what must be done . Shilo gonna have a big game watch .
wins?
I saw him against K-State, and he is one of the most patience backs I have seen.
Even more patient then giddens?
@mkingadiffernce yes
@@Roy20Andersonno he’s not lol not even better then giddens he’s good though

He only needs like 123 yards to break a school record as well so he will get plenty of touches
Insightful analysis.
I hope Shiloh brings his arms on contact or Carter Stoutemire is ready to play.
he should be healed, a healthy Shiloh is one of the best tacklers on this team
Carter is always ready.
Mentally Shilo hasn’t been aggressive since the injury.

this is our HB#29 game in two yrs
They have a good running game but their secondary dont look good. So its their power vs CUs power game.
What’s good BIP family?
He’s basically laveon bell

That running back is going to have Shilo on his knees. The team has to come prepared to play and win.
Do they got more fast runners tho cu got a whole package of cheetahs
@@Jr-ov8nb go watch DJ Giddens

Lmfao no where near as good as dj giddens
Tahj Better ! 🙌🙌💯
You're about to find out buddy. Brooks is going to make you eat those words.
Nah he a good RB so we have to come prepared to tackle and not over run the play
Shilo about to get cooked again and we might lose this dude look just as good as k state
Don’t have the scheme like k state to get those reads
