Gotta say, it's nice to find a video that's straight to the point, actually helpful, and explains everything in an easy-to-understand manner. Thank you, Gobotch!
Thank u so much. Those settings in beginning helped my game to perform little bit better and now its more playable. The lagging stopped and my new little HP computer can now run hunt showdown. Thank you one more time, great guide🙂👍
For some reason the game has fine to shit with the latest update! I’ve got a gtx 2060 and used to get around 100+ fps now I’m getting between 60-70 even as low at 50 in places! Will try these settings see what happens don’t wanna abandon this underrated great game!
Keep in mind that i7 proccesor's all generations do have a problem atm sinds 1.7.2 nothing you can do about this till the fix this (Only for streamers) Also i easly get 144+ frames without all this and just changing some ingame settings With i7 9700k OC GTX 1660 32gb ram
@@LeRoyt97 it also reduces your fps by quite a lot, so the picture "stays smooth". If your GPU however normally reaches e.g. 200 fps then v-sync will literally reduce it by 140 fps (so 2/3rds less). Which means that your gpu's frame time also gets limited and most likely multiplied by atleast 3-4 times. Atleast in theory though
Dude, following this guide you are just bossting the easy anti cheat launcher, you need to add huntergame.exe under the folder "Bin" "Win_x64" or is not going to apply to the game at all
@@GobotchFrags the only reason i even knew that was thanks to RivaTuner. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't affecting my game until i did the CTRL Click method with it to load all the current apps. Thats when i found it out Hunt having 2 .exe files xD

4:54 V-sync is used specifically to help reduce screen tearing. So why would turning it off reduce screen tearing?
V synch causes input lag and skipping of frames which can cause issues in a game like hunt.. that’s why it should be disabled.
@@GobotchFrags Ah, thanks.

Most of these "tweaks" are pointless and stupid.
And for adm?
This was extremely helpful the only difference is i used amd but overall big help!
Happy to help out!
Almost use Nvidia, but in radeon software!
you actually added the wrong .exe in the gamemode section. You have to add huntgame.exe
