Damn Right. Super Dave Einstein was a Brilliant Comedian...The SD was a truly laugh out loud affair...I remember SD on David Letterman...Funny . Bob Einstein created also Marty Funkhouser for Curb Your Enthusiasm...Always funny there also..Palestinian Chicken top rated show!! Because of Einstein...
I'd say that the interviewer, Mike Walden, was the criminally underrated comedian of this duo. The straight man never gets his due, just always there to make the other guy, the star, far funnier than he would be without him.
During stressful moments at work, I sometimes stand up at my desk and call out "Blue skies, clean air and the weight is perfect!!!" So far, none of my coworkers seem to get it, but it does have a calming effect on me.
With the risk of sounding like an ol' chunk of coal here, if it wasn't for Norm Macdonald I would've never heard about Super Dave. It's a good thing I did, I've been watching these for a week now so it was weird to hear that he has passed. RIP Bob Einstein, last time I laughed this hard was almost 6 years ago.
Lol, love it man. Even as a junior in, college none of us had ever even heard about norm Macdonald after he’d just passed away but we all heard it from just about every comedian we could follow because of norms influence. from a bunch of other comedians giving him the highest praise. After watching hours of his clips I wish I’d been able to know and appreciate him more when he was alive. And as far as super Dave, completely ahead of his time.
I came across most good comedians because of Kennedy. Some old ones seemed familiar because of my parents and childhood, but I wasn't an avid comedy show type viewer. Born in 79. I remember a lot of Carlin with my parents, until he became pretty vulgar. My mom loves Norm. Since my mom has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, I have been thankful for all of these guys. Laughter heals the soul.
Never an unhappy moment with Super Dave around. RIP Mr. Bob Einstein. It has been a rough life many times for me but at this time when you did this you made me so happy .. every single time ... and honestly I don't know what more to say ..... CE of all he did please? Please? Oh and one more thing ... I think people in show business today could learn from this man. There is nothing wrong with this kind of entertainment. Simple and fun and no drama, bs, tying in real life, etc. The world is a more miserable place because we have less of this.
Never got tired of watching Bob's stuff. The Super Dave setup was you knew it was going to go badly. Every time though it was executed with comic genius.
It was 6 minutes of straight-man build-up, I knew pretty much what the joke would be, but still.... had me literally laughing out loud when it finally happened. And that end bit?! Didn’t see that coming 😂
Ya. My gut is laughingh With a uncontrolable laughing smile from ear to ear...!!!!SuperDave.. was a talent unique... A one of a kind ... Ohhhhh l miss his entertainment.
I'm 38 and i used to love whenever my parents had this on. I will say this, watching this one makes me so uneasy how close they are to the freakin edge there.
Super Dave...lol. Takes me back to i think 8th grade. And Norm on Weekend Update. Im 46 now. We've lost some GREAT ONES in the last 2-3 yrs. Thank you to all of em
Bob you provided many laughs to thousands of apprecitive Canadians your uncanny humour was timely and just so outrageously funny you made every stunt believable each fan waited moment to moment see how you would pull it off or try to get out of doing it with still a tragic but comedic outcome . Bob your ability to capture an audiences imagination was a gift and we are all thankful you were here to ease our lives and suffering with your comedic brilliance you will be missed sorely but you humour lives inside each one us who's lives you have touched and tickled for so many years Cheers to a great!! Man who i will miss and thank God for RUclips so i can always see you and laugh Thanks Bob
It's amazing we know what's going to happen, but we're glued anyway, always hilarious. Loved little things like the Fuge gets a new button for his sweater LOL!
I always talk about Super Dave Osborne and people who do not who is his, I always say, "Super Dave Osborne was the greatest Super Hero, Thrillseeker, Athlete of all time".
Back in the eighties I watched the John Byner show just to see Super Dave. He was hilarious then and his reruns still crack me up. Watch the one with him being walked on by an elephant. I still laugh just thinking about it. 😆
Guy was truly superhuman. Unfathomable how he survived these catastrophic mishaps week after week.
It was all scetched and fake ....
@@JacobDean88 What no way!
@@JacobDean88 You don’t say…I feel so disillusioned, so cheated
@@JacobDean88 But... but it looks so real... my whole world has been turned upside down.

one of the most underrated comedians of all time
N.W.A. I agree, love him as Funkhauser w/ Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm! Hoping to see him on another series soon! I love his humor....
I thought I heard once that he began as a comedic writer for the Steve Allen Show. Long-time great comedian.
@@Brentster1953, no, SMOTHERS BROS. is where he started. Just like his Dad and non-Albert brother, he began in the advertising industry.

Bob had a great deadpan delivery. How does he not crack up. RIP
Trevor Bacque that is exactly what made it perfect and believable.
It's in his genetic makeup, you can't laugh if it isn't funny. That's not a dig, it's just top shelf humor.
He’s a pro.
It's called "acting". Only bad actors laugh at their own material.
RIP, Bob Einstein. Thank you for the laughs.
And the tears. Super Dave was one of only two guys that made me cry with laughter. He still does to this day.
The other is Billy Connoly
Never completed a stunt.
We used to watch him during the weekends. Maybe on showtime or hbo. He was so funny. RIP Bob Einstein. Thanks for all the great laughs.
Just learned recently that he had been writing comedy since the Smothers Bros. That's pretty impressive.
Super Dave was a true American hero, no fear no remorse.
This show was WAY ahead of its time.... too funny! RIP Bob....
"Tell him to forget it. I'm starting to feel better." The one and only "Super Dave". May he rest, in peace.
I always love his delivery of “You’re SHITTING me?!?”
Yahahahaha
"I need an ambulance, you putz, I'm in pain..."
"Fuji's gonna bungy one down..." 😂😂😂

Rest in peace Super Dave. You brought joy and laughter to the World
This man had so much talent and made my world a better place through his humor. Going to miss him
RIP Super Dave!! You are sorely missed!! We need more comedians and performers like him!
Brilliant show, the chemistry between the three was palpable. Never fails to make me laugh.
"Blue skies, clean air, the weight is tied to your waist."
"You're shitting me! YAH-HA-HA!"

Yea I'm a millenial and just discovered Super Dave from the Norm interview.
I'd forgotten about him until I saw Norm doing an imitation of his, then had him on his show. ❤Norm Mcdonald, he was hilariously unique! Miss him!

*Super Dave’s stresses safety and comfort*
Michael: looks a little frightening
Super: well of course it is, 130ft to rocks
I start laughing when this starts
Never got tired of watching Bob's stuff. The Super Dave setup was you knew it was going to go badly. Every time though it was executed with comic genius.
I remember super Dave was just an occasional spot on the John Byner show. Every week I watched hoping he would be on.
Thank you for John Byner’s name. I wanted to say thats where I first saw Super Dave; but couldn’t remember his John’s name.
The show was called Bizarre I believe. It was so funny, the deadpan delivery is just hilarious 😂
RIP Bob...Your work will live on forever!
Miss you Super Dave. Bet it’s one of the best shows in Heaven!
One of the most underrated comedic geniuses of all time. RIP Bob Einstein
Back in the good old days when the talent did their own stunts. Sensational, Super!
Super Dave…The original ragdoll.
In the 90s..there was Al Bundy..and there was Super Dave! Thank you sir
It was 6 minutes of straight-man build-up, I knew pretty much what the joke would be, but still.... had me literally laughing out loud when it finally happened. And that end bit?! Didn’t see that coming 😂
*Sad sigh* RIP Bob Einstein (Super Dave)
Amen another childhood great off to the pearly gate's. 😔💖
Is he? Didn't even know he was sick.
The most underrated hilarious line: "Of COURSE you are!". Kills me EVERY time, even though I KNOW it's coming. LOVE Super Dave.
RIP SUPER DAVE BOB EINSTEIN. Super dave is performing his next stint in heaven.
Bob Einstein will certainly be missed! Especially on "curb your enthusiasm". Thanks for the years of laughs, Bob. RIP...you truly are "super".
The cartoon show about Super Dave got me in to Super Dave! Glad to relive some of those memories today!
RIP SuperDave Osbourne.
You were one of a kind.
You didn't die,you were set free to stunt the universe.
RIP Super Dave!
The man was UNIQUE.
There can be no other.
RIP Super Dave. You will continue to make me and the rest of the world laugh through these videos. Thanks for the good times.
"Super, is there anything I can get you?" "*sarcastically* Yeah, how about an ambulance, my entire life is broken! 🤕" 😅😂🤣

This was the first Super Dave show/stunt I saw. Been a huge fan since. R.I.P Super.
Classic Super Dave! RIP and thanks for all the laughs.
Ahhhh the early 90s. Will never forget. God Bless it.
American Gladiator!
First saw Super Dave on the Bizarre Show. I was an instant fan.
I laughed so hard the minute Fuji said “the weight is tied to you”....
Then I made the mistake of trying to explain to my girl what was so funny.
I'm 38 and i used to love whenever my parents had this on. I will say this, watching this one makes me so uneasy how close they are to the freakin edge there.
I was feeling blue today. Thought I would watch some Super Dave videos! They make me laugh everytime!!

Brilliant! One of the funniest people EVER on TV. RIP, SD.
yep loved SD
I was too young to understand the humor and only watched the stunts at the end. Now cuz of youtube I can watch entire episodes. Funny show!
Rest in Peace Super Dave. Love your comedy! Great legacy.
I paid for Showtime just to see this show.
Bizarre
That, and the Holyfield fights🤣 Classic '80's
It was worth it!
Super Dave Osbourne was amazing on that old show "Bizarre". True brilliance that still stands the test of time.
I once went to a taping of Bizarre at the CTV studio in Toronto.
I miss comedy like this, rip Super Dave
Listen up kids. This is entertainment. Super Dave was the epitome of how to promote oneself.

Have adored the Great Super Dave since he started doing her great stunts. Long Life to you!
I loved Super Dave! I only got to watch it at a friend's house.

The groaning and cries in the background as the sports caster signs out gets me every time😂
the super dave osborne show was awesome!
He had a very unique style as a comedian something that a lot of comedians wouldn’t dare trying but he had it as a gift and it worked👍
He did that same schtick for years and it always got a laugh.
Bob you provided many laughs to thousands of apprecitive Canadians your uncanny humour was timely and just so outrageously funny you made every stunt believable each fan waited moment to moment see how you would pull it off or try to get out of doing it with still a tragic but comedic outcome .

Bizarre was a great show and the Super Dave segments always hit the jackpot...
It's amazing we know what's going to happen, but we're glued anyway, always hilarious. Loved little things like the Fuge gets a new button for his sweater LOL!
I loved that character. He made me laugh so much it brought tears to my eyes
Mike Walden really captured the Wide Wide World of Sports ethos, especially the Super One's agony of defeat. Every. Single. Time.
i loved watching this as a kid first on Bizarre, then on his own show .
Super Dave was great!
I used to watch this show on TV as a kid 30 years ago. Always made me laugh.
I remember staying up late with the volume turned down low as a kid so I could watch John Binners show, bizarre
Super Dave, the greatest stuntman
in History!!!!
Truly a comic revolutionary. Nobody will ever be able to come close.
He didn't use genuine Saskatchewan seal skin bindings?
That's why the stunt went wrong.
Each and every time. LOL
No, but his bungee was made of it! 😄😄
my hero! Super Dave, you will be missed dearly on earth! say hi to my Dad!
I remember watching this stunt on his Saturday morning cartoon show.
East San Diego county bridge ...
Over I-15!
"you're shitting me"
SD was hilarious. Always a treat.
The show must go on ,,,and it gets better ...Hard to beat !!!
I always talk about Super Dave Osborne and people who do not who is his, I always say, "Super Dave Osborne was the greatest Super Hero, Thrillseeker, Athlete of all time".
SD never gets old.
Thankfully all his harnesses were made of genuine Saskatchewan sealskin,
The man is a legend
Used to watch it on Saturday mornings. Made my day.
Together with Austin Powers, Beavis and Butthead and Ron Burgandee he is one of my super hero's
Back in the eighties I watched the John Byner show just to see Super Dave. He was hilarious then and his reruns still crack me up. Watch the one with him being walked on by an elephant. I still laugh just thinking about it. 😆
I haven't thought of super dave in 20 or 30 years !!!!!
I’m such a huge Super Dave fan. R.I.P. Dave.
I remember watching this on TV when it was new, and now its legend. So crazy
