Where do you think Air dyne type bikes fit in? I have limited experience with spin bikes, but I find the workout I get with an Air Dyne is more easily intense compared to an exercise bike.
So I have all three. A good upright bike like my old Cateye Ergociser can be setup close enough to a spin bike that there’s really no difference. Air bikes like you mentioned though are king in my opinion if you can only have one. If you’re super limited in space though, the Body Power Dual or Trio trainers are awesome. I used to have the Dual Trainer which was air bike and elliptical. My friend has the Trio Trainer with the spin bike flywheel on the front. I’d probably recommend that since it can be used as just a regular spin bike but also has the elliptical handles there too if you want to get your upper body.

Intensity isn't the most important factor. Most endurance athletes spend most of their time training at lower intensity.

Spin bikes are cheaper than exercise bikes if you look right. Found one at £99 instead of the £150 of a cheap exercise bike
In my cpu try it’s the other way around 😐
