its because blizzard limit the number of player , etc... to protect the servers from crashing, yeah its suck, but imagine 1000 paylers at the same place spamming magic spells, servers would burn, and yah, that suck but we cant trust peoples from trying to burn the servers if there was no limitation

A server I played a long time ago had this happen to it. It was much smaller but still was so devastating because there are so many cool unique things these servers add to games that is just never going to be experienced in retail. I understand the reasoning but its just a shame. FeelsBadMan

It adds a bunch to faction pride and some people, not all, but some will not be bothered with constantly putting different emails just to play on the other side. IMO it was better when you were forced to stay loyal to one side. It was great for atmosphere and RPG aspect.

I liked it better that way but I understand why they changed it.
