  • How we install tower sections with Gin-Pole. Sometimes we use a winch, tractor, 4x4 Quad, brute man-power but If we have room we use the truck in low-gear.

This is just an awesome way to install. Great thinking.

Love everything about this. The realism of having to work to get it aligned, and working as a team. The perspectives of the surrounding area, and the shadow on the ground are impressive. As much work as it is to do, the view alone is motivational.. I always enjoyed it when I was younger but never over 50ft.

I’m glad you enjoyed. We’re trying to use different camera angles and Insta360 attached to section. If you liked this, watch the video of us tramming up 6M yagi at this same location. We have used capstan winch, elec winch, 4x4 quad, brute force and as shown under this video using the truck. We have a swivel HD pulley at base of tower! Thanks Ray W2RE

I have never worked with 55 but put some 45 and my 25g and it's a lot of work up on tower trying to get those legs in. Nice job. KL7TC

    Incredible teamwork
I’m curious which method do you prefer to install the sections a crane or this setup with the Gin-Pole?
