Sorry for the misunderstanding, we were referencing all the town squares, shopping, dinning, & events. Not pools and exercise facilities etc. Poor choice of words on our end. Hopefully that clears up confusion ❤️
I have rented Airbnb’s in the Villages twice in the last two years and both times we had guest passes to join activities at the rec centers. We might have paid $50 for the passes. Maybe it has changed in the last year.
You guys do a great job. Hubby and I are considering a move and neither of us have been to Florida. This would happen in about 5 years, so educating process has begun.
Just returned from a month at the Villages. This was our fourth visit. Here are some take away thoughts and observations. Over the past few visits we have visited many 55plus locations around the Villages. Esplanades, very noisy. Way too close to the interstate. While some complain about the control the Villages have on what you can and can’t do on the exterior of your property, it serves a purpose which was brought home while driving around Esplanades. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but as far as this beholder saw, there were yard decorations in this area that I would deem close to trashy. It was an Easter bunny explosion over the top extravaganza. Trilogy. As mentioned above a fabulous club house. Probably one of the best. But....start driving around the neighborhood and there’s a lack of pristine yard care that you find in the Villages and UGLY electrical poles cutting right thru the main property, including several back yards. On Top Of The World, Citrus Hills, Stone Creek, the Lakes of Mount Dora. All were nice. Some very nice homes much more affordable than the Villages. But either not accessible by golf cart to grocery stores, or entrances off of very busy roads in order to get out to go shopping. We seemed to leave each of these communities unintentionally comparing them to what we liked and disliked about the Villages. So far, for us, the Villages have won out. But there’s a huge caveat should we ever buy in the Villages. Location!! We would personally not buy in the newer section, south of Brownwood . Or again, it would have to be the perfect location within the new section. By perfect location I mean, NO noise from the turnpike, NO gigantic electrical poles in the vicinity, a backyard that is larger than 2 feet deep. Of course Shangrela can be found but it requires $$$. So for now, we’ll probably keep renting although each year it sure is getting harder to leave.
Better not to buy in The Villages right now. Housing prices much to high. Those 1 BR and 2BR Patio Villas (cheapest and smallest) are over $200k some are asking between $ 200 and 230. They are just little cracker boxes and the basic finishes are cheap.
New Sub. What a great team you two are👍 So enjoyed the presentation and information.Terriffic job. Thought The Villages was “the” address but you’ve changed my mind. Tks
I love you guys!! You’re so natural and fun. I am relying on your info to hopefully make an intelligent decision moving forward on my move from Monterey California.
I would also like to know if these communities are over dangerous underground cave in systems. I would be interested in some of the nicer tiny homes communities. We also have a small dog. We have a place in Tamarac and are looking to move up north a bit, too hot and too much traffic here. Hubby retiring soon. We don’t care for golf.
Oh my God you guys were great I just watched your video my name is darryl Miller my wife and I are retiring to Florida soon we are coming down in June to do our first tour of on top of the world we thought the villages was going to be our final destination until we saw the golf cart rally for trump it truly broke our hearts to see that we knew this was not where we wanted to be I didn't know there were so many 55 plus community so close we are going to keep all of our options open I am truly going to keep you guys in mind thank you so much.
If you don’t like people who don’t think like you, who don’t submit to your pathologically projective, bigoted, hateful, intolerant, anti-foreigner, anti-minority, anti-Latino, anti-Asian, anti-Semitic, anti-Indian, anti-White genocidal, imperialist, religious cult then retire with your fellow BLM/Antifa/DSA/DNC brownshirt comrades to Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, East St. Louis, Philadelphia, Oakland, Camden, Gary, Portland, LA, Baltimore, Minneapolis, Haiti, Belarus, Transnistria, Laos, Havana, South Africa, Managua, Eritrea, Caracas, Angola, Moscow, Chechnya, Beijing, Mozambique, Tehran, Islamabad, KSA, Qatar… etc. Tras de ladrón, bufón.
Interested in a community with RV storage or garages. Doesn’t need to be new construction but would like to explore that option. Where do people stay when coming to visit these communities? Thanks, JOANNE W.
They all look so expensive. Plus, are most of these 55and older communities corporately owned? I've heard that huge real estate corporations are buying up these mobile home parks and causing the rents to go up huge. Are there any mom and pop mobile home parks left? I'm concerned that eventually I'd be priced out of my home as I wouldn't be able to eventually afford the lease and or monthly dues.
Wow...this is a great video...I LOVE that you have a map AND you talk about shopping, medical and fun things to do...I hope there is more of these in other areas. Ie.. north Tampa. Just a great job by both of you...keep up the GREAT work! Hit that Subscribe!!
I’m so excited I found you guys!! I need it this kind of information on 55 plus communities and I just love how fun your videos are. We live in California in a Trilogy community now but thinking on retiring in Florida. Definitely will contact you when we are ready. I wonder if you can talk about the quality and warranty of each builder for new construction,. Thank you 😊
5:59 Hey beta boy, Tell your mommy she doesn't decide what store that I do or don't need. Your mommy sounds like the typical real estate agent. You should learn from her mistakes and get out on your own quick!
Hi - the camera work is not good for the 55+ crowd. This is a young person's idea of how camera work should be, ie constantly moving. I find it unwatchable and again, your audience is not going to be young people. It's older folks like myself who didn't grow up with a constantly moving camera. Please just have the camera be positioned in one place as it's otherwise incredibly distracting and annoying.
Why would you release a video which has no sound on your son mic. If i give a realtor a commission, I will give it to a realtor who at least checks their video, before releasing it. That is just being a professional. I'm not trying to condemn this mistake, just learn from it. or not.. It is your video.
@@J4Obama You’re asking pathological sociopaths, BLM/Antifa/DSA/DNC imperialist, genocidal brownshirts from the North East, New York, Chicago, the Midwest, the Pacific North-West and California to be nice. They destroyed their cities, counties and states and now aim to do the same in Florida and even other countries, like my country!
You said that you can use the amenities at the Villages even if you don’t live there, just heard that’s not the case...
Sorry for the misunderstanding, we were referencing all the town squares, shopping, dinning, & events. Not pools and exercise facilities etc.

Exactly!!!!! These two are beyond slick. They are OILY.
4 years away glad I found you guys
Getting excited
Ty for these videos, we are currently looking into 55+ communities. Helpful information. God Bless!
You guys do a great job. Hubby and I are considering a move and neither of us have been to Florida. This would happen in about 5 years, so educating process has begun.
Thanks for watching ❤️ a few trips in the meantime will definitely give you a good feel for the area :)
Thanks soo much for newcomers to learn and explore through your eyes💕🌞💕very informative and more importantly, entertaining 🌞
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching, Andrea!

Brenda Pfeil: Leave where? FL in general or The Villages specifically?
Great video, me and my wife are planning in the next few years, looking towards the Gainesville area.

Awesome! Thank you for the comment :)
Let us know if we can help you with anything!
I enjoyed your presentation, but I thought Palms of Serenoa was built by DR Horton not Lennar. Did they buy them out?
Very informative . Great info
❤️
Can we get base prices on them.

It’s a great community!
God Bless President Trump and His Awesome Supporters! I'll be considering The Villages for sure!!!

All the people griping about you not sharing prices didn’t watch through to the end I guess, 😂
Great video. I missed the build out # of homes for Lakes of Mt Dora. Thank you please provide? Thank you

Thanks guys for another informative video.
Hopefully this was helpful :)
I like these communities. Send me brochures. TY
Are any of those communities you mentioned allow golf cart access to everything?

I am thinking of moving to Fl. In a 55 community just wondering my son is moving with me to help with my care but he is 42 is he allowed.
Could you please add if it’s a golf cart community as well. Doesn’t have to have golf. General base price of homes
Good idea, we will add in future videos :)

I agree. Please keep these things in mind on your next videos. People want prices, views, and floorplans to study. This was none of that.
Lake Apopka is polluted from pesticides used by surrounding farms.I would not eat any fish from that lake.
This has no useful price information.

🙉 we’ll work on it. Thanks!
You are wrong! It was well done and I liked the banter! (Be Nice!)
