    Can I use my “D” feet on my B480? (I have both, a B880 and B40)

What size and brand of thread did you use with this? Turned out beautiful. Pillow you showed was beautiful too.

Thank you so much for your question. When stitching decorative stitches, I always use a 40 weight embroidery thread either in cotton, rayon or polyester on my size 70 or 80 Schmetz microtex sewing needle. To keep the stitching from becoming bulky, I prefer a 60 weight thread in my bobbin either of cotton or polyester.

Getting that thread through the hole is a pain. I tried this foot and returned it. I was hoping that this video would show me that it was my misunderstanding, not the foot. That doesn’t seem to be the case. I don’t understand why Bernina doesn’t have a clear easy access presser foot that allows you to easily pull the thread to the back-like a clear number 1. I think this is a significant mistake on their part.
