I live my life in a wheelchair. I have been on wheels for the past 11 years. Got wiped out by a drunk driver. I also live with mobility brain damage. The point is, life is still good! Little Nugget can have great quality of life, even with the challenges of disability. Love and laughter and empathy is not diminished by physical disability. Nugget will meet the challenges with the help of those who love her. A wheelchair really can be your friend. The difference between not moving, or flopping about, and wheeling to where you want to go is phenomenal. My next challenge? Acquiring a wheelchair van, as my disability has progressed to my not being able to transfer to a car's seat. But, someday, a van will happen and, like lil Nugget, I'll get from point A to point B again. Life is good. I have a rescued 60 pound pitbull, our Dumplin. She was used as a bait dog in her past. But the scars belong to her history, not her present, and her happy face and wagging tail are a testament to the healing power of love and kindness. Best wishes to Nugget from me and Dumplin, two who get it.
I live everyday in severe pain & while no one wants to be in a wheelchair, I much rather have to be in that situation, then this severe chronic pain of interstitial cystitis. So, looking normal is a double edge sword because often people don’t believe I’m disabled. I hope you’re doing well 💕🙏
Severe poly peripheral neuropathy from trauma here, but grateful I’m still mobile for now, much love and support to you two to continue to live and find joy
I also like the fact that nugget is figuring it out how to get out of the times she's stuck. She's actively sniffing and stopping to think about it. Great job everyone!
I’ve loved watching your treatments and the compassion you’ve had for her and her mommy Jennifer, for how much you care for her. Thanks so much for sharing these videos!
Love little Nugget's feisty bark. So wonderful when she goes into her relaxed zen state. She's significantly improved from her first session. Go, Nugget, go! 😘😊
If anyone ever questions your intentions it’s b/c they lack something within themselves. It takes extreme courage, commitment, patience and dedication to do this kind of work. I have fostered the most severely injured and traumatized dogs to full happy lives. Very few humans will give to that degree. Y’all are Love and Light, my entire fur family and I thank you both. 🙏🙏🙏🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️
It is clear (to me, at least) that Nugget has a strong will to live and is a happy, lively puppy. I believe that says her quality of life is really good! Keep up the good work!
I can not watch this without crying I can not believe someone would do this to that baby!!! My dogs are the only kids I have and my heart is broken!! Bless you for taking care of her and bless you nugget my two babies said they love you!
Gosh Nugget is getting big! I totally understand Jennifer and it must be hard sometimes for well meaning keyboard warriors to say things about Nugget and her quality of life when they only see a very small snapshot of Jennifer and Nugget's day/week together. Even though Nugget's neurological problems were caused by a human, the way she moves and interacts with people reminds me a lot of cats and dogs who are born with cerebellar hyperplasia. Those animals with CH live amazingly normal lives just like any other dog or cat that doesn't have a neurological condition. Jennifer keep doing what you love and don't let the negative comments get to you! 💞💞💞💞
I love how you incorporate trigger point technique with chiropractic work. I always thought they should be used together. Nugget is lucky to have you guys. There's absolutely no question Nugget has a good quality of life.
It's like steering a bucket of wet fish, she's so fast and eager. I can see her zooming about in no time at all because she is smart even with brain damage,. Go nuggy go!!❤️
I recall that the "lion king" pose was originally done to check the tension held in her back legs. If one leg was held higher than the other, then that leg was holding tension and needed work. After working on the tense spot(s), her balance got better. So maybe the pose isn't medically necessary, but we can all see that she isn't carrying any extra tension in her back legs. So job well done, Dr. And good job, Nugget.
Nugget looks very happy to me and she's so much loved. She definitely has quality of life and look what love and happiness she brings to her human family.
I would love to have a nugget!!! The "bullie" genes are amazing. The dogs are so loving, forgiving and they have a lust for life. Every day is a great day!
I wonder if Nugget's cart might help get her into a proper walking pattern ? She's a young girl with a young brain . Even with her neurological injuries , you never know if new neural pathways can be established. I admire your love and persistence for Nugget so much ! I also think if your other dogs are communicating, tolerating , soothing and helping Nugget, trust their judgement ! Great work achieving calmness and relaxation for her, Doc. Best wishes for you all !
Doug tug - self-absorbed, supercilious, champagne-sipping 😁 You're none of those things, you're a hero. In the wheelchair, the back left leg movement is very clear.
I think Nugget is happy and she is not hurting and l think that cart hopefully will eventually help her with her “floppy-fish-syndrome” … no, she is so adorable… thank you Jennifer for all you do … It hank you to both of you for this video !!
Nugget every video of ever seen is consistently wagging her tail and just the happiest little dog ever she might be special needs but she deserves a chance at life 2 and she seemed extremely happy she's the most precious thing on earth

I trust this lovely lady to ensure her pups are all living a good life and trust her to make the hard decisions when she must 😌 I think what you're doing for little Nugget is a miracle.
Nugget has grown up so quickly!! Like her wheelchair a lot. I'm hoping that Nugget will be a dog with all of her capabilities back like a normal dog. Still sad about Nugget being abused like that. No animal should be abused. I was surprised that Nugget was able to get her front legs out from the wheelchair. Pretty soon she'll be zipping right along in that wheelchair. Love to Nugget. Bless you both again.
Hi Doc and Jennifer, Nuggets is still cute as ever, hope she like her camouflage cart it’s adorable also praying that it helps her. Once again thank you and Jennifer for the love and affection you give Nugget, can’t wait to see more of her real soon .don’t stay away to long .Linda/Florida 🐶🥰

It is so interesting to watch Nug's movement by herself and her movement in the wheelcart. I think she keeps moving the cart to the left as she seems stronger in her right limbs.

Jennifer, thank you for saving this precious little Nugget. ❤ Let the negativity go. Some people will never understand and others will learn from watching Doc's videos. Nugget is a great ambassador. To love and be loved is a beautiful thing. ❤🐾🐾❤🐾🐾❤🐾🐾❤

It’s amazing to see how relaxed she gets after your adjustments. Looking forward to seeing how much she changes by the next video. 😁

And the camouflage accents are magnificent, of course..😊
Nugget is really a whole different pup since the first video. No more pain, no more sadness, you go girl💕
Love you Nugget. You’re getting the hang of your wheelchair!! 💕
I love it! So true, thanks Karen!
Nugget is in a safe place being cared for and most of all loved. Hang in there Nugget! You are awesome ❤😁
I love Nugget's wheels. I think in time she'll get used to it and as she gets older, a lot of that mad puppy energy will mellow out a bit. Keep up the good work!
I think so too! Great to have you on the live premiere tonight!
Jennifer, thank you for saving this precious little Nugget. ❤ Let the negativity go. Some people will never understand and others will learn from watching Doc's videos. Nugget is a great ambassador. To love and be loved is a beautiful thing.

Oh sweet Nugget! It’s so good to see you again and see how well you are doing. Keep riding those wheels and and one day you’ll be zooming all over the house. Jennifer will have to run to keep up with you. Lol. Keep up the great work Jennifer! Nugget is thriving because of your wisdom and love!! Another great video doc!! It’s amazing to see how relaxed she gets after your adjustments. Looking forward to seeing how much she changes by the next video. 😁
Thanks! You too! great to have you here Christina!
The previous owner who beat a defenceless puppy , needs to be treated to a dose of his own cruelty, Nugget is a pure gem, so glad she has been given a new chance she deserves all that's the very best in life, she is so full of energy & totally adorable.
Both of you are doing such a great job with Nugget. She is doing so good!
Nugget the big girl is getting there! Go Nugget! Dr. Doug, you are so good with her!
