I haven’t watched basketball at ANY level in 20+ years, but I started watching Caitlin Clark her senior year in college and now I’m in Indiana fever fan🎉😂❤ Catch the fever ☮️❤️🙏🌏🌍🌎🇺🇸❤️☮️
Caitlin doesn’t care. CC made a commitment to support the WNBA and the players. That means something to her even if the WNBA and players don’t appreciate or acknowledge CC efforts to promote women’s sports. 🩷🏀
As if that explains it. The whole family has managed to prioritize their lives to fullest. Who can point to-what?-three generations of public service, participation, and give-back who are frauds.
Actually, there are probably scads of families with generations of blah blah blah with many frauds included, so I sorta disagree with my own logic. However, I prefer to believe the Clark family used their marketing genius for good, not evil.
Cameron Brink said in her podcast on how miserable the NBA stars were when she did a Commercial with them . She was happy to be there they were asking when is this thing ending. To much money on occasion does spoil a good thing.
Yep. I saw Steph Curry slip-up on camera about doing the 3 point contest with Sabrina. It was more along the lines of, “All this commotion for just 45min.” It was sort of (?) benign and not terribly pouty, but nonetheless, a touch of, “I’d rather not not be here.” I get it that Curry might not want to spend his time with fiddling with the WNBA and rather go do a round of good golf, but there was a tinge of misery. (I like Steph Curry as an athlete and human, so no true hate here. No one is perfect, including me for sure.) I supppose all of us to some degree will miserably drag our legs at work at least one day out of a year. Just hard to fully empathize with many of the athletes with precious ability, opportunity, and have so, so very much $$$.
If some of the great players had better attitudes and didn’t come off hateful, they could have more fans. No one wants to be a fan of hate or entitlement. Not most people I should say.
Watch, The W won't invite her to participate in the 3 point contest, if history means anything. The W marketing department is known for stellar decisions recently
I will watch, and that ain't happening. If she continues bombing 3's this year she'll be there. Again, some of you need to quit the false agenda noise you are not helping anyone. 🤡
I've been watching Unrivaled and may take a trip to see some games in person...because I began watching the WNBA due to CC. The Unrivaled venue really works for these athletes. They look more in scale with their surroundings and more comfortable with the extra room in which to move around. They don't look as awkward as normal. Don't get me wrong, the awkwardness is because they're women and must move differently than the male stars we've watched for decades. The Indiana Fever turned out to be an intriguing team, and there are many players with other teams that I follow as well. ESPN is the CNN of sports IMHO. I haven't watched it for literally decades. Baseball was my sport, and they had a really good analyst, Chris Berman, I liked to watch. But when they brought politics to the discussion, I shut them off. I do follow Stephen A. Smith. He's hilarious, I enjoy his yelling, and his opinions aren't written in stone.
Saw another content creator saying that Elle Duncan had a long feminist diatribe that got cut from this segment on espn. Fly Hippie I think was his name
FFS Robin. This is likely one of the points in trying to get across to you the most. ESPN employees are not afraid of what is said on the internet, they are afraid that people are not listening to the narrative they push, and have pushed for the longest time. And, you always talk around it. You always give them an excuse. I'm glad you caught yourself today, though. Perhaps you will leave that lightbulb on this time, don't turn it back off.
If it weren't for C.C. that tiny gym they play Unrivaled in (there's less seating than my high school) would have even less people attending. The O.G. W fans would know about it and that's it.
Nope Dope..she doesn’t attach herself to struggling projects and picks her commitments carefully for life and profession..and can’t be bought..fearless about the game of basketball..
@@chrisc7528 This is Lebron's 21st year in the NBA; Steph's 16th. Caitlin has played one year. Of course, the NBA is a much bigger league in scope, and LeBron and Steph have been worldwide superstars for a long time. But relative to their league, neither one of them has the same effect on ratings and merchandising that CC has. If Lebron or Steph retires, interest may go down but won't fall off the edge. What if CC walked away? Huge falloff. Also, her effect on women's sports in general is much more than even LeBron or Steph combined in men's sports.

Caitlin is THE BOSS, THE DON, THE BIG CHIEF!!!!!
Yes, CC 22 the big chief, along with Patrick MaHomes n Swifty fans..
"Caitlin Clark doesn't move the needle, Caitlin Clark is the needle."
OK. That gets no argument from me.
The worst part about this is the WNBA and some of its players will not even see what she's trying to do for the league. They'll hate wash it.
Of course that's what racism is about. They hate because you are.

"Most?" More like "some"... try something a little more believable. 🤡
@@artistamisto changed it just to make you happy.
Unfortunately women will be women brother.
You gotta remember she is a marketing major. This genius move is better promotion for the industry than the W has ever done.
Her mother also works for a marketing firm. They got her covered.

Their expressions when he said your detecting wrong was priceless.
Your saying that "great philosopher" who said "there are levels to this" was priceless Robin!!
If you were impressed that much by that statement, wait till you see the bridge I have for sale!
That's right Clark is the needle more than any other player. 🤣

You gotta give CC the Respect......
The WNBA should send Angel Reese for the NBA All Star 3 Pt Contest, people are watching because of her too right? xD
She would lose a layup contest.

Why don’t you have 800K followers-always good stuff without the needless fanfare. 👍
Watch, The W won't invite her to participate in the 3 point contest, if history means anything. The W marketing department is known for stellar decisions recently
She will show up anyway. Don't think they will say no in front of 18 thousand Indy folks.
She’s at home… no way that happens
Caitlin should be the one who sends out the invites.

Stephen Smith just used a lot of time and words to say nothing. Unreal.🤡🤡🤡
These old fans are very sensitive. Thats for you Diana and Geno
Elle can’t stand Caitlin Clark
ESPN first take cut off Elle's comment about Caitlin Clark.
She did until she was told not to
To quote Lizzo, “It’s about Damn Time”!! 😂 Seriously though, really nice to hear how empathic the support was.
I still just want to see CC & Kelsey vs Steph & Klay
Black men outside of Chicago are huge fans of CC

Caitlin needs to own her own shoe brand and ditch Nike. She is the brand.
Nobody can put up with a tsunami. We all know that, but it took a very long while for ESPN to figure it out. Very sadly, WNBA has yet to realize that.
Saw another content creator saying that Elle Duncan had a long feminist diatribe that got cut from this segment on espn. Fly Hippie I think was his name

Caltien Clark isn’t Stephen Curry or LeBron James. She’s is a great player with a lot of potential, but let’s not get carried away here
Her popularity is. Fans absolutely adore her, and she is great to her fans, in ways that LeBron (or even Steph) never had to be.
