What the size of sump should be based on the aquarium. Any related equations?

God that's a nice sump. I wonder tho - doesn't the block of foam after the refugeum stop the pods from reaching the top tank? I've been experimenting with Durso overflows and a sump.. and am getting ready to set up a 75 as a mixed reef tank. Thanks for the vid!

I love my Dreambox Sumps (Run 2 of them Plumber together) They are just so nice and also with them made out of PVC how can you go wrong. I agree with separate refuge.
If your just looking for a nutrient export algae scrubbers work.
As for roller Matt's, I always like to pair h20 overflows with a roller Matt filters.
Also I prefer ozone and calcium reactors over chemical media but that's all my personal preference I guess.

Audio is muffled pretty bad.
It blows.
Not everyone can afford a “sizable” sump ... spending a small house value on a system.
Chris believe me when I say I know what you mean but even a smaller sump is better than a canisters or hang on I have use both just the one I have now is just a wet dry but is much better than other filters I have used heck I even ran old under gravel setups with power heads shop around you can find some for a good price used just might not be one them fancy ones good luck
