People should be Happy that other countries are actually able to compete with American Football.
Good that countries like Japan, R getting good enough players 2 compete and even BEAT the United States at American Football at the (IFAF)
Japan is probably the next best country, at playing American Football.
Hopefully one day, we can have a REAL World SUPER BOWL competition!

I thought Asians would be good at American football since they hold a lot of weight lifting records in Olympics and has the 60m dash record which is about two football fields. These records will translate great to American football. Turns out Asian are good at American football for a long time too apparently since 1999. Japan has two American football world cups titles and were runners up twice in the five years the world cup has been around. I hope they draft some Asians to NFL. The NFL basically only have Americans.

We need a wake up call in American sports. Lots of working harder instead of playing smarter, lots of coaches like to practice harder than they need to without working on the things that actually make them win. Lots of coaches don't understand what it actually takes to make a team win, they were just freak athletes themselves and like recruiting freak athletes, when they talk to you its how they talk to themselves. No doubt these Japanese are training and playing smarter than us, just look at the scoreboard.

Pleasant surprise! My first guess was USA 100 Japan 0 but this is biggest sports upset since USA beat USSR in Lake Placid in the 80's.

Even their O lines look slim and athletic lol doesn’t take much to just blow past the USA players with their guts out and it doesn’t help that Japan is running plays straight from the Michigan Wolverines playbook😂

The U.S. doesn’t bring top talent to these types of events. Holtz almost lost with a group of D3 stars players and former players past their prime. Ever since about 2014, Japan’s youth league has been improved and university football also improved after one Japanese coach got a job in the USA! You gotta bring an all-star team to Japan now. But those players are t going to risk injury. So here we are.
Perhaps Lou Holtz learned this well as he coached some D3 and former stars to a close win. He had to dig deep in that playbook. No! He had to get that one trusted playmaker to make some big plays. 😂. After that game, usually coaches bring it! But this team and coach didn’t get it. So we lost embarrassingly.
One thing I know from watching up close during a vacation is that Japanese players got some power and speed! All they needed was better coaching and updated offenses. No joke!
