I'm so sad to read this. Hope the kids (and their parents) that bullied him realises what impact their behaviour can lead to. Parents really should be good rolemodels - it seems that many in todays society need to work with themselves. Also internet-trolling, which kids see and hear have impact on their behaviour. I wish your friends' son rests in peace, and that his family have good people around them for support.
Totally agree. This should have been the winner. Before this got to the Eurovision people were saying the song wasn’t good. How can anyone say this song isn’t good, it is brilliant.
Such a pity this song didn't get more points. And I'm not saying this out of pity, but because I really liked it. It's especially sad because so many people hated him just because their favourite wasn't selected so now they'll just say we told you so. Well, at least I know I'll remember him and this song while the rest will mean nothing to me. So he did what he came here to do because I got his message. And he is perhaps the only man who seemed to have something soo charming about him in the interview I watched.
Yeah, let's underline it: not out of pity. His story obviously adds to the song and performance, but only because it gives you the context (and I personally love to get more information about how a song came to be) and helps you better understand why he does certain things (like wearing sunglasses, it's something I generally hate but here it is obviously comprehensible). The song was good in the first place, everything else just makes it even more well-rounded (proof is, that picky listener that is my dad only "saved" this one out of the 40 entries). Also, he is indeed charming is some inexplicable way. You can see he's a sensitive one, I guess...
Honestly he deserved to be the winner or at least in the top ten, but I’m so happy he was on Eurovision. Because his music is actually helping me with my Tourettes right now and Andreas is just making me feel more better about my Tourettes. But it is a huge shame people are hating on Tix because their favourite wasn’t selected to represent Norway, it’s just wrong. I think he’s so awesome and honestly I love him.

I work in the UK for an anti-bullying charity teaching children to be respectful, tolerant and kind to all no matter who they are. Thanks Tix for addressing this very important issue to a worldwide audience through your music the song is so brilliant!
I think it would be great to watch this video at school as a trigger for discussion about the respect to each other. And kids could think to which group they belong.
I am so sad it didn't get more points than it should have. This song is amazing. It makes me emotional every single time I hear it. It touches on very important subjects that are wrong in this world - too little compassion, understanding, love, kindness, empathy. I can relate to some of the things he sang about and it makes me so sad that he is not recognized. The idea of music is to make you feel things. A great artist is someone that makes the audience feel whatever the song is about. This song did it all. It was my favourite song this year and I will keep listening to it even after. I think his message should be taken seriously. No to bullying, no to abuse, no to being heartless. Thank you, Andreas, for sharing your passion with us. I have humongous respect for you. I do agree with you Silja this song and it's story is definitely a winner. I was never Bullied in school or I never Bullied anyone myself. I was brought up to treat everyone with respect. It doesn't matter how much money your parents make or how many friends you have because all kids or everyone needs to be treated equally.
Norway should have gotten way more points than they did last night. Tix deserved to win with this song. It’s deep and meaningful and way more relatable than a load of the other songs that were in the competition. The video made me cry. I love Tix and, not saying he has to, but part of me hopes he makes more songs in English.
I dont think the presenters for all countries explained to the viewers the reason why he had sunglasses, headband and what the song was about....in his case that was so important. People who watched and voted probably only focused on him in his costume and sunglasses and thought he looked silly, instead of listening to the message and see the relevance with the staging (which they probably would do if they knew the reason why he is dressed that way). That annoys me a bit. Its their job to inform the viewers (they always do that on the Norwegian broadcast). Some juries probably didnt bother to check what the song was about and the story behind either. They were probably just as shallow...

Like he just didn’t bother to understand, however I’m pretty sure the British commentator of Eurovision mentioned that Andreas (Tix) has Tourettes but then went on to joke about how people should close their eyes for his performance.. which I thought was really rude.

Lots of insecure kids are watching and those are especially the ones Tix wanted to reàch out to by showing them nobody is perfect, but that makes them valuable..and that they can turn their weakness into their greatest strength. The commentator ruined that. When he knew the performance had a serious messàge it was so inappropriate to make fun of him. Thats low.

This song is one of very few that I still listen on regular years after ESC. It still sounds beautifully and sad, brings me to tears but also gives hope. Neither of Eurovision winners stayed with me as long and as close as Tix. I wish it got a higher result so that more people would be aware of existence of that song. Tusen takk Tix.
I keep hearing hate comments about Tix and this song on Eurovision and it's irritating! This song may or may not be strong enough for international singing competition, but "Fallen Angel" is a story to be told for its inspiring message. And TIX not only represents Norway, but a lot of people who are fighting silent battles on their own. It is not easy, unless you have been there. Pretty sure that those who will vote for Tix felt and understood the message he is trying to convey. Win or lose, this man is an inspiration! Spread love instead of hate. As a person who is also suffering from bulliing, I have so much respect to your song. Turning a bad fate into power while speaking up in the public and making a music career, is really inspiring and is a sign of real mental strength. I love all the details in the lyrics/video for example the metaphor of the "fallen angel" (A strong person, wich is beaten down by bulliers(the demons). I think this person song/music video could give a lot of bullied people new strength, because they can see, that they can speak up. So thank you for this song. 💛

It's been four months since the contest is over but I still keep coming here. I just think the attitude of Eurofans and the results of this year's contest were just beyond unfair when it comes to Tix. This is such a meaningful song with a music video that has a strong story. The way Tix opens his weakness to us is just nothing but pure sincerity. I literally can feel all those lyrics and the music video in my heart deeply. And I'm not even talking about how much I admire the fact that he turned his weakness into his power, his stage name. It breaks my heart so bad when these kinda sincere, meaningful masterpieces and people like Tix don't get the appreciation they deserve. Let alone appreciating his art, people literally bullied him because he made it to the final. They even gave the Barbara Dex award to Tix. I think Europe was literally so mean towards him while all he was trying to do was only be himself, in the most sincere way possible and to show people that it's okay to be you so he deserved a lot better, people just failed to understand him. He was on an interview on a show called Lindmo, and it changed the way I thought about him. Before this he made songs about drinking and partying, but in the interview he told about how he got bullied and was insecure about himself. He said the artist TIX was like an alter ego for him, with confidence, and that he still was afraid and insecure to this day. Truly a fantastic guy. He also said that his dream job was to be an animal doctor, you can’t hate that guy

I can΄t possibly imagine what kind of people would dislike this song. They even declared it, choosing thumbs down. Despite the obvious talent of the artist and the constant quality of his work. This is what people with Tourette or any kind of difference have to face. Friendship, acceptance, empowerment keep the door to life open for all people, especially when dealing with their own "demons". We should always remember that and make our move for a better world for everyone. Costs nothing and makes our hearts stronger.

I have a disability that affects my balance and how I act in social situations so this makes me a target. This is so amazing. this is great at raising awareness about bullying. This should have won.

This song was already my favorite without me knowing anything about him. Then learned that he has Tourette syndrome, and watched his interview at Lindmo, where he was talking about really hard time he had gone through, even opening up about the day he almost killed himself...Such an inspiring and brave young man. This video is simple but so powerful, makes me ugly cry every time I watch it. All the best in Rotterdam, Andreas! But you should be very proud of yourself, as you are already a winner in life. I screamed and clapped when they announced Norway got into the grand final. It'sbeen a while since I last felt so overjoyed that a song I loved got into the next roundd. I avoided listening to the eurovision songs because I like hearing them for the first time during the show, but I happened to hear a bit of the interview with this singer right before the show and heard him say this was the song for ugly ducklings and outcasts. I was like 'outcasts? I need to hear it!' And they played the melody of the song in the background and I loved it. I even listened to a few of his interviews. In one of them he said something that tops all those motivational messages for mee,' people evolve differently and you should be proud of the person you are today and proud of the person you are going to become'. Best of luck to this singer who is spreading this message through this song. We need more songs that have a lovely melody and carry a message that resonates with people. That's the musicthat is valuable.

Such a pity this song didn't get more points. And I'm not saying this out of pity, but because I really liked it. It's especially sad because so many people hated him just because their favourite wasn't selected so now they'll just say we told you so. Well, at least I know I'll remember him and this song while the rest will mean nothing to me. So he did what he came here to do because I got his message. And he is perhaps the only man who seemed to have something soo charming about him in the interview I watched.
Yeah, let's underline it: not out of pity. His story obviously adds to the song and performance, but only because it gives you the context (and I personally love to get more information about how a song came to be) and helps you better understand why he does certain things (like wearing sunglasses, it's something I generally hate but here it is obviously comprehensible). The song was good in the first place, everything else just makes it even more well-rounded (proof is, that picky listener that is my dad only "saved" this one out of the 40 entries).
Also, he is indeed charming is some inexplicable way. You can see he's a sensitive one, I guess...

Honestly he deserved to be the winner or at least in the top ten, but I’m so happy he was on Eurovision. Because his music is actually helping me with my Tourettes right now and Andreas is just making me feel more better about my Tourettes. But it is a huge shame people are hating on Tix because their favourite wasn’t selected to represent Norway, it’s just wrong. I think he’s so awesome and honestly I love him.

It touches on very important subjects that are wrong in this world - too little compassion, understanding, love, kindness, empathy. I can relate to some of the things he sang about and it makes me so sad that he is not recognized. The idea of music is to make you feel things. A great artist is someone that makes the audience feel whatever the song is about. This song did it all. It was my favourite song this year and I will keep listening to it even after. Norway should have gotten way more points than they did last night. Tix deserved to win with this song. It’s deep and meaningful and way more relatable than a load of the other songs that were in the competition. The video made me cry. I love Tix and, not saying he has to, but part of me hopes he makes more songs in English.
I dont think the presenters for all countries explained to the viewers the reason why he had sunglasses, headband and what the song was about....in his case that was so important. People who watched and voted probably only focused on him in his costume and sunglasses and thought he looked silly, instead of listening to the message and see the relevance with the staging (which they probably would do if they knew the reason why he is dressed that way). That annoys me a bit. Its their job to inform the viewers (they always do that on the Norwegian broadcast). Some juries probably didnt bother to check what the song was about and the story behind either. They were probably just as shallow...

The Uk commentators always tries to be funny on other peoples behalf. Surely he hadnt read up on Tix cause he wouldnt have mocked him if he knew the backstory (I would hope). It wasnt only because he has Touretts it was important tô explain. If he didnt follow up by saying' he use sunglasses to hide his tics and also he could’ve explained that Tix is just a character he made after being bullied as a child and that the character is supposed to be flashy and over the top completely opposite of what Andreas is. And he should’ve definately explained that the staging was related to the song and was about his inner dark thoughts and demons trying to hold him back. That he was fighting those demons (while being chained). That the song was about mental issues and to not feel good enough. No wonder he got so few televotes when even the commentator makes fun of him. I was afraid of that and it makes me angry. I wonder if he makes fun of people looking. different in real life too... Lots of insecure kids are watching and those are especially the ones Tix wanted to reàch out to by showing them nobody is perfect, but that makes them valuable..and that they can turn their weakness into their greatest strength. The commentator ruined that. When he knew the performance had a serious messàge it was so inappropriate to make fun of him. Thats low.

This song is one of very few that I still listen on regular years after ESC. It still sounds beautifully and sad, brings me to tears but also gives hope. Neither of Eurovision winners stayed with me as long and as close as Tix. I wish it got a higher result so that more people would be aware of existence of that song. Tusen takk Tix.

I keep hearing hate comments about Tix and this song on Eurovision and it's irritating! This song may or may not be strong enough for international singing competition, but "Fallen Angel" is a story to be told for its inspiring message. And TIX not only represents Norway, but a lot of people who are fighting silent battles on their own. It is not easy, unless you have been there. Pretty sure that those who will vote for Tix felt and understood the message he is trying to convey. Win or lose, this man is an inspiration!

As a person who is also suffering from bulliing, I have so much respect to your song. Turning a bad fate into power while speaking up in the public and making a music career, is really inspiring and is a sign of real mental strength. I love all the details in the lyrics/video for example the metaphor of the "fallen angel" (A strong person, wich is beaten down by bulliers(the demons). I think this person song/music video could give a lot of bullied people new strength, because they can see, that they can speak up. So thank you for this song.

It's been four months since the contest is over but I still keep coming here. I just think the attitude of Eurofans and the results of this year's contest were just beyond unfair when it comes to Tix. This is such a meaningful song with a music video that has a strong story. The way Tix opens his weakness to us is just nothing but pure sincerity. I literally can feel all those lyrics and the music video in my heart deeply. And I'm not even talking about how much I admire the fact that he turned his weakness into his power, his stage name. It breaks my heart so bad when these kinda sincere, meaningful masterpieces and people like Tix don't get the appreciation they deserve. Let alone appreciating his art, people literally bullied him because he made it to the final. They even gave the Barbara Dex award to Tix. I think Europe was literally so mean towards him while all he was trying to do was only be himself, in the most sincere way possible and to show people that it's okay to be you so he deserved a lot better, people just failed to understand him. He has a golden heart and a career full of meaningful and inspirational stories, he is a gem for us all. Yall, the people that can understand his art, we're just so lucky 🤍

He was on an interview on a show called Lindmo, and it changed the way I thought about him. Before this he made songs about drinking and partying, but in the interview he told about how he got bullied and was insecure about himself. He said the artist TIX was like an alter ego for him, with confidence, and that he still was afraid and insecure to this day. Truly a fantastic guy. He also said that his dream job was to be an animal doctor, you can’t hate that guy

I have five favourites this year, the Nordics. TIX, and Norway, deserves to win this year.
I can΄t possibly imagine what kind of people would dislike this song. They even declared it, choosing thumbs down. Despite the obvious talent of the artist and the constant quality of his work. This is what people with Tourette or any kind of difference have to face. Friendship, acceptance, empowerment keep the door to life open for all people, especially when dealing with their own "demons". We should always remember that and make our move for a better world for everyone. Costs nothing and makes our hearts stronger.

This song was already my favorite without me knowing anything about him. Then learned that he has Tourette syndrome, and watched his interview at Lindmo, where he was talking about really hard time he had gone through, even opening up about the day he almost killed himself...Such an inspiring and brave young man. This video is simple but so powerful, makes me ugly cry every time I watch it. All the best in Rotterdam, Andreas! But you should be very proud of yourself, as you are already a winner in life. And Big Kudos to Norway for rooting for him and also to KEiiNO for showing heartfelt support on their FB. Truly hope the entire world will listen to this song

It took me about two months to grow to love this song.
I was originally very salty that he got to go to the ESC instead of Keiino, but I can't deny that Tix is a wonderful person and the song is perfect.

Ashamed for dissing the song if they don't like it? If he were to win Eurovision purely on sympathy points that would be wrong.. Some people like the song and say it out loud, some people don't like it and they'll voice their opinion too.. Dissing him as a person though, that's something to be ashamed of
I screamed and clapped when they announced Norway got into the grand final. It'sbeen a while since I last felt so overjoyed that a song I loved got into the next roundd. I avoided listening to the eurovision songs because I like hearing them for the first time during the show, but I happened to hear a bit of the interview with this singer right before the show and heard him say this was the song for ugly ducklings and outcasts. I was like 'outcasts? I need to hear it!' And they played the melody of the song in the background and I loved it. I even listened to a few of his interviews. In one of them he said something that tops all those motivational messages for mee,' people evolve differently and you should be proud of the person you are today and proud of the person you are going to become'. Best of luck to this singer who is spreading this message through this song. We need more songs that have a lovely melody and carry a message that resonates with people. That's the musicthat is valuable.
