she was invited to sing at Quincy Jones birthday party in London 2018 afterwards he told AJ: «You know how proud I am of you, little darling. The world is going to know your name».
Thank you for this reaction to angelina Jordan. She is so good singer that whatever she sings will sound amazing and dosen’t matter what kind of music genre she does IT in. Thank you for doing this amazing journey through the music world of angelina Jordan.
So enjoy your reactions with our lovely Angelina Jordan....I truly believe that 2021 will be a super year for AJ. Just my gut feeling, watch and see. : )
Quincy Jones scored and produced Lesley Gore's big hits, 'It's My Party' and 'Maybe I Know', so he presumably did this too. Maybe he encouraged Angelina to record this and provided her the track after they met for his 85th birthday concert. I must say I never noticed the O2 concert notice on the wall. I'm guessing that's an intentional acknowledgement to Q.
1 of my favorite songs etta james sang it and I loved it aaaaahhh this is so enjoyable they are in tune her with the instruments no doubt she sure is mesmerizing
AWESOME, AJ ANGEL DUST IN THE AIR THIS MORNING! AS ALWAYS NAILING ALL HER CHOSEN CLASSIC SONGS. YES SHE DEFINITELY HAS FOUND OR IS FINDING HER OWN VERY SPECIAL STYLE!! AS ALWAYS GREAT 👍 REACTION! HAVE AN AWESOME DAY! 🌞
She sang for Quincy, at his request, at his 85th birthday party. Yes, she has several interesting and identifiable vowel sounds. Here, "Own" and "Yours" are evident. Also, in Young and Beautiful, the pronunciation of "Beautiful". Sometimes when a word ends in an "N", she close her lips and sings "M." It just works! I don't know if it is because her first language is Norwegian and second Farsi, or just her artistic interpretation.
Thanks for your continuous interactions with Angelina and for another beautiful reaction, I love this test recording, its gorgeous whisper and smoky voice are beautifully reproduced here, while following the style of the original 1964 version of Leslie Gore, but it adds a lot more emotion to the song (as usual). And in this version she is following a registered base, so she cannot intervene on time and speed. Fortunately, there is always grandmother Mery with the phone ready to record, these are really beautiful pearls of Angelina's work, mixed with her adorable reactions as a child that punctuate her careful professionalism 😊❤️
@@HAP3SPEAKZ She is singing alone, but the instrumental base is pre-recorded, as she has done on other occasions, probably when she doesn't have Ivan or Egil available, and so she can't diversify too much, as she does when she chooses the speed.
Wow .... Angelina's voice has got lots of feelings and depths. Your right about each singer has their own style and patterns in their singing. Loved her singing and your reaction as always.
She either already have her own style or is making one❤️ still great either way 👍 admire your patience man, but it’s worth waiting for Bohemian Rhapsody 👏👍❤️
Thank you for another grand reaction to Angelina's cover of this song. Interesting that you should note the emphasis on the word "own". With such a short title, she could have emphasised any of the words to give completely different meanings to the song. For example, if she had emphasised the word "You" it would have led the listener to the conclusion that the person she was addressing did not own her but not leaving out the possibility that someone else did.Keep those reactions coming, [lease.
From what I have read on some postings of Vocal Coaches, Angelina purposely uses "backphrasing" or just behind the beat as a singing technique. She also purposely stretches vowels or emphasize them as part of her technique. And, from what I have read by quite a few of these singing coaches or teachers is that she is masterful at using these techniques in her singing.
Willie Nelson is famous for his "backphrasing" I wasn't familiar with that word, but it describes the technique very well. I think a lot of jazz singers do it too. Ella Fitzgerald comes to mind.
Spending each evening before going to bed to check out if Haps have a new reaction to our angel. Yess. Today he had three. 😍 It is so fun to watch and hear you on your AJ journey. And I am so looking forward to when she takes on your Queen and how you will react to BR. You are still 2 years away from that. Such a journey. ❤ So thanks for sharing it with us. Nice comments btw on the o and the a.
She's emphasizing the word "own" in the phrase _"you don't own me"_ not only by the accent on the start of the vowel, but also with a slight delay on the word.
This way she sings this song, with the music a little higher reminds me of a Bond movie, And when I they make another one they should use Anglina to singing the song Great reaction Stay Safe
You know how you sing with the sheet music in front of you... you can see the words and notes as they are and coming up so that you can be prepared to perfectly match the instruments. She does this alignment in her head. With this song and another hundred songs. AND down to the slightest little nuance and embellishment. This kid's talent scares me!
You have correctly noted that the instrumentation tends to overwhelm her voice a bit on this song and the ones by Alan Walker. It's not enough to spoil her voice, but definitely there.
This one is a short one, but it really doesn't take her long to capture your attention ;) I really love the way she chose to do this song. It is so true to the original. Most people that cover this song go way overboard with it. BTW: I'm not sure about the reason for the louder instruments in the mix on this one, but you have to remember this is a 12 year old recording her own videos in her home ;)
Honestly, i just think the sound level is probably a simple case of her trying out new equipment. I think this set up is pretty new and she's doing everything herself. She's very slightly behind the beat too or late coming in again probably because of new kit, which she doesn't understand fully yet. Just a guess though. Might be completely wrong 😂
Well done, once again, Hap!👍 You get that specific pronunciation with which Angelina reproduces/emulates the original one very very special too by Lesley Gore, as her tribute to the author 🙂, always respectful: ruclips.net/video/JDUjeR01wnU/видео.html and thank you for your ❤

I thought it was Angelina by herself for this recording. The reflection indicates that. Yes I will continue and you may know the path I have taken. I appreciate the support, the views and shares. I hope to reach my destination with Angelina.

The original song was released in the 1960's, the era of Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound". Maybe Angelina was going for capturing that feel.

Thanks I couldn't think of the word back phrasing that's exactly what Angelina does
Willie Nelson is famous for his "backphrasing" I wasn't familiar with that word, but it describes the technique very well. I think a lot of jazz singers do it too. Ella Fitzgerald comes to mind.
@@HAP3SPEAKZ Considering how deeply steeped in jazz she was so early in her life, it might just be second nature for her.
I got some more AJ surprises coming. Give it a few more days. 🙂💜👍🏽👍🏽

They've chosen Billie Eilish for the next one "No Time To Die"! 🤔

She beautifully articulated herself and blended her self in with those instruments. If it was done by accident or was purposeful she mastered it well. This is what I kind of said 🙂
Well the show must go on Rusty. 🎭

i love this version but its tooooooooooooooooo short

yep not yet, but I got it noted and time stamped, it will have get done in due course. Thank you Salo.
