NS Train horn is stuck!

- ns 39e with its horn stuck on. I heard the sound for a few minutes, trying to figure out what it was then I realized that it was a train horn that just would not stop. I feel sort of bad for the crew, but it is probably mostly drowned out in the cab by the engine and what not. Oh Yeah! and an Oakway leasing SD60!

That happened today in Cottage Grove, MN...I could hear the same exact thing (I was in my bedroom at the time, but I could hear this loud, whining-like noise). I couldn't tell at first if It was the train itself, the train horn or some kind of siren. Well, I was almost positive it was the train itself. I tuned into my scanner app on my phone and sure enough, the train had to stop and cut out the horn and try to fix it. It's pretty cold today and they said that was probably the reason. Then they said they were notifying the operator just in case anyone called in and questioned/complained, as there was a trailer park they go right by! Rare, I don't hear it too often. I think I've heard it a few other times.
LOL. That is friggin EPIC dude. I feel for the crew though. But I'm, sorry, that is funny, man. The solenoid probably got stuck. I bet the compressor was working overtime to keep that horn on lol.

I really like the second engine trailing with the train!! The K5LA sounds a bit clogged though.

And these new electronic bells can't hear em when train is going by.. Always wonder who approved these horrible changes..
