I fell in love with the talkthru function, it's just so practical. I use the noise cancelling when I don't want to hear the other members of my family or when I am vacuuming the flat because there is this small annoying sound of the vacuum cleaner that the anc can filter out perfectly. Hey I bought JBL Tune 230NC a few days ago but I had to return them since they were faulty. The store doesn’t have any in stock anymore so I’m looking for a different model replacement. My options are JBL 130NC (which should be kinda similar to the 230NC’s) or JBL Live Free NC+. Or if you have any other recommendations? Soundcore sadly isn’t available in my country. While 230NC’s were faulty yes, I kinda couldn’t get used to them. I could get an airseal 50% of the time and my ears would sometimes hurt a little bit after long use (I’d rate the comfortability 3.7/5). Are Live Free NC+, Tune 130NC, Jabra Elite 3 or any other recommendations you have a bit more comfortable and stable in-ears?
I have these and the Pro plus earbuds. Got em on sale. These are MUCH better then the tune 115 and haven't given me any trouble at all. But they do have some gotchas. In ambient mode and noise cancelling modes sharp noises pierce through the microphones and don't get clipped out like they do in my Panasonic RZ-S500 and Technics EAH-AZ70 earbuds. If you use these JBL's in any kind of mechanical environment you have to turn off Ambient or ANC to protect your hearing. But having said that these are well thought out regardless. Also with ANC with the earbuds you reviewed you have to play around with the ANC slider for your particular environment. It's not adaptive like other earbuds unfortunately.

Buy the JBL NC+ for in ear fit and bass quality 👌 Buy Live Pro+ for earbud fit and good sound quality but not as good of bass as NC+ If you look at the two earbuds they are completely different styles. So I'd buy the Life Pro+ if you have small ears or have trouble with "in ear monitors" NC+ style.

After about 9 months, I find they are not loud enough. I do like the sound quality. I’ve recently tried the airpods 2 and Galaxy air buds 2 and these are about 50% louder!. No recent firmware update, I was hoping this issue would be fixed.
The background music is a little too loud in throw video at certain parts of the video. It would probably be better to have it at an even lower volume so it doesn't overpower your voice when you're speaking
Yes I'm fully aware of that problem and have started adjusting the volume lower on my recent videos plus I just got a nice wireless Lapel Mic so hopefully that keeps my voice loud 😀
Sony makes more technology good earbuds JBL makes user-friendly earbuds If you want the best tech earbuds, buy Sony, but I'd buy JBL earbuds any day 👍💯😁
Serious questions for u please? How does the overall sound quality compare to Apple air pod 2nd gen??? I’m an audio fanatic! Those little drivers are huge! How comfortable are they for long sessions long term? You have an amazing beard, contagious enthusiasm & beautiful eyes! Jbl should be paying you dude. It sounds like overall noise canceling sucks but my #1 priority sound quality is outstanding. It also sounds like the fit is wonky for long sessions & might have a bad pressure point situation going on for allot of people, especially for long sessions. It sounds like this is a great Beta product & Harman has a long to road to perfection. They have version 2.0 now apparently. That usb port location is making my inner Monk ocd angry.😂 They might have used cheap batteries in the charging case to save a buck. God speed.

I have the same earbuds. But unfortunately the left earbud stopped working. It is not turning on. Led indicator is not flashing any blue white or orange color. When in the charging case. Battery percentage jumps from 62 to 84 percent. Tried troubleshooting but no luck. Any other method to fully reset or make the left earbud work again?
@@AtHomewithLucas we went back to where we baught it and they gladly changed it with a new one. They said it was a factory defect. Only downside of the process was to wait for a couple of days for them to verify if it really is a factory defect, that is the process in our country. But yeah i have my new pairs now.. hope this would last for its price. Hehehehe
I'd say they will have the same NC tech. But the Tune 230 will fit better in the ear and stay in better while running. But the Live Free NC have better sound quality 👌
Im just confused between these and the galaxy buds 2. Had galaxy buds in mind. But JBL having IPX7 rating is what's pulling me towards it. Which one would you suggest? PS: both are on sale at the moment with the same price tag.
JBL are definitely more popular over Samsung Buds. But as I have not reviewed any Samsung Buds I can't say anything about the sound quality...but I'd say the JBL will be more user-friendly and will be a little smaller. Do you own a Samsung phone currently?

That is a great question. I'd say the Sony would be a good deal because they are discounted now. But if the JBL Free dropped to $80, I'd buy them over the Sony. JBL makes user friendly devices with really good sound drivers. Sony is more technical and also has good drivers. I'd buy the Sony because they aren't on sale that often, so it seams like a good buy to me 👍😁

Okay, try charging the case without the earbuds. Then, put the earbuds in and charge them fully. Also, make sure the charging pads on the earbuds are clean and the pins in the case too
Buds pro fit great in the ear (a little big) but fit most ears and work great without any problems, the sound quality is premium. The Live Free sound amazing and fit well in the ear but might have some problems as you use them with different devices. My pick buy the JBL Live Free 💯😁💯😁
Jbl live free has more features but the Live 300 fits in your ears better. Both have great sound quality but the 300 sounds a bit better. The Live free are small (case and earbuds) and have a great set of indicator lights. I think the 300 are better but they don't have ANC (Active Noise Canceling) so that's a big problem for some people. But for $74 the Live 300 are a great buy 😁

I’m having trouble with my jbl live free nc plus earbuds first of all they can cut out at times secondly one earbud sounds louder than the other and finally trying to get Alexa to work on these earbuds is a nightmare and keeps saying open the alexa app and try again and it frustrated me so much to the point that I no longer use that feature apart from that the sound quality is really good and the app is pretty decent too

Oh, that's not good...try this charge the case without the earbuds until it's charged. Then, put the earbuds in the case and charge both until full charged.

Yeah the Linkbuds S definitely check all the boxes with all the features. The price is a little high but I'm sure they are amazing earbuds.

I had galaxy buds+ before and these just disappointed me when it comes to ambient sound. otherwise they sound great but anc is not great

Oh, that's not good...try this charge the case without the earbuds until it's charged. Then, put the earbuds in the case and charge both until full charged.

Try charging the case without the earbuds. Then charge everything earbuds and case. See if that helps
@@AtHomewithLucas Right now they are charged left 99% procent od astimated power apex right 65 they problem is that even when the case is closed and i'm using only one of them the other is being drained as well even though case is closed im telling you case is just broken it was the very moment they have sended them to me its the first time i'm having problems like this
If the case is out of batteries the earbuds won't turn off when you put them in and close the lid. Are you sure the case is fully charged?
