for me Happy Plugs should be included in your line up! it’s worth experimenting with the ear-tip sizes on offer, since the impact of their tuning can be significant. The default and smaller options offer a crisp, sharp tone that’s detailed but less bass happy, while a switch to a different type brings out more weight and ‘fullness’ across the frequency range.

So glad you rated the Bose Quiet Comfort 1 and 2 respectively. I was 1 of the "pre-order guys", and have been through the bugs and firmware updates. Now they are what I was expecting to begin with, extremely comfortable for 8 hours, incredible sound that you'd expect (including customization), and I think the noise canceling is better than you possibly but we can agree they're amazing. Only drawback is the durability is questionable. I've had to get replacements and am on my 3rd pair, thankfully Bose has excellent customer service and it was 2 or 3 days turnaround. Thanks for the review!!

Question: I loved the bose soundsport free since they are the only earbuds ever to not hurt my ears. I want to get a new set of earbuds, I was thinking about the quite comfort just because NC would be nice when cutting the grass but I am planning on exercising and riding a bike with my earbuds in (subdivision not on a main road). Do the quiet comfort stay in well for exercise or is the sport the better option?

I bought 2 pairs of the Tozo NC2s. Bought them within a week of each other last January.
One pair stays w my Apple TV in my bedroom and I keep the other for my iPad usage. I agree w you on the sound. For the money they’re great.
However one pair started about 2 or so months back whistling a really high pitch when I put both of them in my ears. I would assume it’s feedback?
But it would happen about once a week then more frequently and got louder until I threw them away. The squealing hurt so bad and so sudden I couldn’t stand it.
Now I’m on my quest yet again to find a replacement.
Just bought the Beats Studio and am extremely disappointed. No bass to speak of speak of and the treble is ear piercing at times.

@@JB54379 bro i have the Bose qc 35 ii for 2 years now and im really happy with 'em. Just recently decided to get an earbud for the outside chores and workin out. Now i am really vacillating between sony's,sennheiser's and bose qc. For me the only drawback for bose's is the size of the case and earbuds themselves. The concept of the earbuds is mostly based on the portability, but with this condition, is really gonna be annoying i feel like if i want to put 'em in my pocket. The earbuds themselves remind me of the old-fashion single earphones used to be seeing when i was a kid ! Lol. Plus with these being so sturdy and huge the charging is kinda disappointing for me and i don'r really know what to do...
Have you any tips or sth that settle me down to go for 'em? Or sony's regardless ?!

@@SoheilHab I do not know much about the Bose qc 35 ii earbuds.
I will say these Bose QC's are amazing. The size of the earbuds in your ear, they fit great and you really don't feel the size.
With the case. I always put it in my back pocket unless I was sitting down, then I would put it in my front pocket.
Either way, go with your gut feeling or try them all out at a store.

@@chrisg.6787 The same argument could be made for home stereo speakers. If the sound quality of a particular loudspeaker isn't to your liking, then just equalize it, right? So what what's the point of all those reams and reams of loudspeaker reviews? The guys are testing the earbuds as-is to level the playing field, i.e. only the out-of-the-box sound quality is considered without any applied bass boost or equalization. Seems like the only fair way to me, especially since not all earbuds come with the ability to tweak their sound.

  • @fogsong

I know sound is subjective but I total disagree with you on the Sennheiser CX Plus. They have amazing bass, you just have to make sure it is in bass boost mode in the app and make sure you using the right ear bud tips for your ears. You can also play around with the EQ settings to get the sound you want.

The ANC is by far the best in the Bose quietcomfort earbuds, however the whole package is lacking. They are so big and the case is huge but offers very little charge. Wireless earbuds are for convenience and portability.
Why not include some of the other options? The B&O, Technics, M&D, Devialet, Klipsch.

FYI: For any Apple Music listeners who enjoy, "Lossless-CD Quality" sound, none of these wireless earbuds support lossless. At least not right now. If you want to take advantage of Lossless the most budget friendly option is to use the Apple Earbuds, purchase a $9 Apple lightning to 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter and enjoy the music. The adapter features a built-in DAC that supports up to 24/48. Just wanted to share because I learned that last year and it was a difficult lesson. Not even the AirPods Max support lossless music at this time

    • @Scrappy-Youtube
      @Scrappy-Youtube Год назад

The Sony are closest tho because of LDAC which supports up to 990kpbs (lossless is 1411kpbs). Regular sbs supports only 564kpbs or smth around there.
Sony also has DSEE Extreme to upscale as much lossy audio as possible

I had the Sony XM4’s & they were truly Dreadful. They are very chunky & uncomfortable, I experienced the white noise you mentioned from the other Sonys & they cut out the music if you cough, or sing or if there’s any background noise such as a radio or two-way.
The Jabra Elite 75t were a magnificent earbud, however after a few months the right bud stopped working.
Currently have a set of Mifo buds which are very comfortable & overall pretty good for the price.

After watching your earlier videos as well as others, I chose the Bose Sport. I am not a fan of Bose home speakers, but I love the Sport earbuds. I tried the sennheisser and didn’t like them at all and they were more than the Bose Sport. I also bought a pair of Edifier earbuds, I kept them too. They sound good, but placement of them makes a world of difference. For some cheap earbuds l like earfun minis. I bought them for someone for Christmas and then they dropped to $15,half price; then a week later I got them for $12. Nowhere near the sound quality, but for $15 the sound is great and they fit better than any other earbuds I’ve had. I still have my second gen EarPods, but they don’t stay in my ears and they sound just ok.
