Queretaro is becoming the destination of choice for many people who wish to move to Mexico or retire in Mexico. We have received a lot of interest in the video we made about renting a house in Queretaro so we wanted to take the opportunity to show an enormous house and see how rich people live in Mexico.
We also give you a house tour of a gorgeous house with a more reasonable price tag. It's in the historic center of Queretaro and it's available right now for US$800/month. If you are interested in renting this house, comment below or visit Monica's page below.

Watching this in the Uk with the rain pouring down makes me think I could me very happy in the first house!
I know. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Beautiful home. Do more open house visits in Queretaro. I really enjoy the tours.
Wow! This house is incredible! Great video and as always, Monica is great:)
You caught us copying your idea 😅😂
@@LaKarencitaMX haha no! Everyone needs to know about Monica and Querétaro!
@@sergtana thank you! Send you hugs and my best to you both! Hope to see you when you visit.
Thank you Karen and David for having me in this production. It has been an honor and pleasure to meet you. I could tell this is something you love doing and that you really care about sharing useful information with a touch of fun. Thanks again!
I can't show this video to my wife! I will be poor within a year. 😉
Love your channel!
Hahaha. You could rent only a bedroom of this house including all the bills and staff, the realtor was telling me.
If you want to treat your wife and yourself for a few weeks, it's possible.
I really appreciate that your videos have Spanish captions. I've been working to learn Spanish for the last few years, and I watch a lot of channels that are specifically geared to teaching Spanish, but hearing English and seeing the Spanish captions at the same time is really helpful for me, too. Not only that, but your videos are always really interesting. I have been thinking about travelling to Mexico, and was actually planning to last year before the pandemic quarantine. I do hope to be able to see Mexico when I have a chance.
Thank you for enjoying my videos.
I'm sure you'll enjoy Mexico if you come. I encourage you to do it when you have the chance.
Happy I speak Spanish as a second language.
This enjoyable video is impressive because it shows the many layers of your channel! From the down to earth sitting on a street corner in centro with "Ánimo" to this beautiful new option for designer living in Querétaro. Love to see the variety, David great job filming. ¡Cuídate!
I'm happy that you enjoyed this video and all the videos.
I'm trying to show more variety and I thought this video might be interesting for a lot of people.
Many years ago, I met a British family who lived in a house very similar to this one. It was located in Balvanera Polo & Country Club. I would say the style is a Mexican Colonial house, which in turn imitated the old Roman houses that rich people had in the Roman Empire.
Fk them man
People will be kicking themselves in few weeks if they miss the opportunity to buy and invest in bitcoin
I wanted to trade crypto but got confused by the fluctuations in price
@@Omarali-yb3qu That won't bother you if you trade with a professional like Mr George hendricks
I heard his strategies are really good
Yeah
My first Investment with Mr George Hendricks aim me profits of over $24,320 US dollars and ever since then he has Been delivering
He has really made a good name for himself
I want to move to Mexico. If only... Well, maybe someday.
Be adventurous! 😊

Love, love love the tour and the soundtrack! 🤟🏾👌🏾
Thank you guys!!
Claro. Un día nos toparemos por ahí. Si nos ves, salúdanos!
It seems our Tolteca Princess has found her palace :-)
Hye guys! If you really want to give this house a try, you can book only a room if you want. The area is lovely and spending some days here doesn't sound bad, does it?
Hay subtítulos en español también!
Hola Karen. A very well filmed and edited video. Fascinating to see what Carlos Slim's weekend getaway cottage might look like. This resembles a small boutique hotel. At $5500 a month, eight adults, each with his or her own bedroom, could stay for $23 per day, or a bit less than $700 per month. Comparable to an apartment and much less than an upscale hotel. Perfect for a group wanting to study in Mexico for a few months and experience a touch of luxury. One could easily spend three months exploring the towns within 250 kilometers of Queretaro. It's a fascinating area. Early colonial era homes in some parts of Mexico often had wooden beams to support second floors and roofs, at least until the mining and other industrial endeavors deforested much of Mexico. Heavy wood beams may still be in use in forested areas, such as parts of Michoacan and Durango. I think you said the house was on 1000 meters of land but it looks more like 10,000. Maybe you said the interior was 1000 meters. It's a huge house. 30C would be 86F. 20C-25C would be 68F-77F. 1C would be 34F. $5500 seems cheap compared to the price of some sandwiches I recently read about. Disney's California Adventure Marvel Land offers a sandwich for $99.99, although they say it will feed several people. The UK takes the top prizes, however. Clivedon House sells a club sandwich for $150, and the Tangberry Cafe sells a Bacon Bling sandwich for $225. I hope they call it the Bacon Bling because it comes wrapped with a gold chain. I bet you could buy an entire pig in Mexico for $225. All prices USD. I'm looking forward to more great videos. Stay well.
You're right. It would be perfect for a group of friends and it wouldn't be too expensive at all. It was a really beautiful house.
It seems very expensive to me but with your examples. Maybe not. I can't imagine being so rich that I'd pay $225 for a sandwich!
@Amanda Nice to meet you, you got a beautiful smile.. How are you doing today?
I love this video. very good info.
This was a fun one. Granted the place is far more than I would even want. Thanks for the videos as it gives me a lot of ideas when I visit Queretaro for a few months at the end of the summer. The comida corrida concept seems fun as well. I look forward to breaking up my day with those. Cheers!
I hope you enjoy Querétaro. I'm sure you'll love this place and there are a lot of things to do as well.
Oh my gosh- it’s gorgeous but I think I would get lost!
Really nice house tour! The stand-alone home is huge and beautiful, probably most people can't afford to live there, I sure can't, lol. The other place in Centro was lovely and that balcony was great, still above what I can afford, but much more reasonable. If you can do more of these, I would certainly watch!
It's a real beauty!!!
Thumbs up for Monica!
¡Gracias!

👏 jaja
Beautiful home and amazing job you did showing it!
Love love love your passion!
You would make a wonderful realtor young lady.
Great video! I like the second home. It's much more realistic for most people I imagine. You do a great job in front of the camera. Your personality shines through. Don't change a thing! 🙂
Nice home...
I like your videos
As always, i love your videos. -Marc
Thank you very much Marc. And as always, I appreciate your comment
Liked the courtyard and living room, but the shelving near, and the staircase was a deal breaker.
She's a millionaire!!! I KNEW it.
😂
A little house tour of my house
I’ll be sending in my application. Haha
It seems that everybody is discovering Queretaro in the last five years! I am so pleased I lived there before it was so overpopulated like it is now. I visited five years ago and the pollution and overpopulation is off the charts! Yes! Nice colonial city, but does not have the provincia feeling any longer!
Dream vacation home 😍 in San Francisco I can get an apartment half the size of the master bedroom for that price 😂
That's insane! I've met people living in the UU and it's incredibly surprising the amount of rent people are paying.
That's $5,500 a month? That's an easy $15,000-$20,000 in California! That's a steal!
Mexico is beautiful that's what I think but also personally know
How fast is the wifi? How much to keep staff happy? How close to shopping? How close to the highway and airport? How far from the city center? What about the security deposit?
How about formalized subletting - renting out rooms? Did they mention that?
Very nice place. Great channel. Stay with it. Hope to see you grow.
It's Frida Khalo's home! I want it
Great video but background music is annoying and makes it hard to hear you at times.
Imagine the business that someone like Mónica would do in my small city Cosamaloapan, Veracruz where a high percentage of the houses have roofs of Spanish tiles called "gabled" and here they sell for more expensive at $ 500,000 pesos or $ 25,000 dollars. 100 m2 or more
Veracruz is beautiful!
Interesting :) beautiful place for a mini retreat probably! How many people can stay there in total?
The light is gorgeous there 😍, only the kitchen and bathroom design seemed a bit plain (with all my love for this house, it could be improved)
A person could be forgiven for thinking this house was in Morocco. Very similar design, tiles, brick dome.
I have been seeing nice properties in Guadalajara and Queretero for around 350000 to 600000 thousand you basically live like a Cartel style house. Dude that is like super cheap in todays US prices. I mean everything here is about 500000 to 200000 million
If I was rich, I would never pay that much rent, with so many poor people.
Greetings from the UK. Been to Mexico twice. But did find the local Mexican food not to my taste. What is wrong with me.
Great video honey
I'll take it.
Hola Karencita,
Me gustan tus videos y tu linda personalidad!
Gracias. La he sacado de biblioteca RUclips pero ultimamente he puesto música de Hero music.
Are you sure you’re not in San Miguel De Allende?
Hola Karencita, me encantan tus videos, solo quería hacer un comentario. Hoy entré en vivaanuncios y otras ofertas de alquileres en Querétaro, y me salen muchas cosas en los 20000 pesos;
ruclips.net/video/5mYAwuAeDb4/видео.html
wooden beams are not normal in Mexico?
At $5,500 I would want the house located at the beach with the best views.
You haven’t see a house like that, lots of house have beams
cuanto costara una casa asi?
The second house is perfect - love the wood, location, roof-top balcony.
The first house would be ideal as a small boutique private hotel, but there may be restrictions converting a private residence into a hospitality place. This home would be a bit costly to maintain.
if you live here, prepare to live with the housekeeper also because they'll be there 24/7 cleaning, lol.
I have plan to go Queretaro soon to learn spinach any advice or .¿☝️😁😎
That’s a fine vegetable to learn about.
@@prime8nate 😂😂
Curious on the prices described is that in USD?
(I'm still watching not sure if you explained it already)
Yes. Everything is in USD
The price per month is way over price.
What would it cost to purchase the first home?
We don't know and we didn't ask
We should've though.
Please limit the talk, just show the place!
Is obvious you are not from Mexico fire place is unusual in Mexico

Sorry no way
No way what?
@@LaKarencitaMX To me I’ve seen a lot of great places for way less than 500 a month and would rather ball out For months with that monthly money.
@@dwalker6868 I agree. I wouldn't pay that much for a house (even if I could 😂). It was fun to see how the rich live though!
Waste of money
It's big but not a luxury home. Say "downtown" not center of city ;)
