Thank you for this as another kink/sex-positive person who doesn't understand the whole "SEX BAD!" mentality.
Like if that's what you want don't to not engage in, go for it but don't shame others if they do.
I'd also like to bring up a current situation, it doesn't involve a real person being sexualized but it's sad.
The creator of Welcome Home asking so many people to just stop making nsfw or suggestive pieces of their work, and still people don't respect that.
It's sad because I was super into Welcome Home and it was scary and absolutely adorable, but I just can't look at it the same with the way people OVERLY sexualize Wally Darling when the creator has asked MULTIPLE times not to (even as far as going on a break from the ARG as a whole for a while)
It just goes to show, boundaries MATTER. Respect them, real or not. That character is connected to someone.

There’s been an update to the NSFW policy- Clown made a hashtag to where NSFW arts can go and clown will not be looking in there. But I do agree, as a welcome home fan, it was incredibly sad

Honestly..
I feel like that was out of peer pressure (my interpretation). Only because a lot of the time, artists and creators start out with nsfw rules and don't feel the need to address it unless they HAVE to.
Like the pokemon allegation for example, they had to start suing/confronting people for making yk...nsfw under their name. So instead people have to use loophole names.
Especially since Clown wasn't okay with nsfw before, so why now ifykwim.
Bro, loved the video. I feel like it’s a real problem in the art community when people want to hurt creators for no reason. Also, I love the new design for your persona. I’m a transmasc guy, and I really relate to the way you feel about being trans. I’ve always felt like i was enby because I liked girly clothes, but I always like being called/seen as a guy. Watching your video about it has really helped solidify my identity. As always, have a safe and nice day.
The idea that 'adults are adults so it's okay' regardless of their wishes or consent fucking disgusts me, cause it also entirely ignores people like me, who are asexual.
What my stepdad says when he thinks because I'm an adult he thinks it's ok to talk about porn and websites to me... And tell me how he likes to fuck my mom.. Or tell me that he would want to fuck me if I wasn't his daughter... It makes me very uncomfortable... So yea.. He also show me what I would like in .... Website is the X website.... Sooo yea... And this whole thing happened because I tried to explain that I think I may be an asexual... Soo yea... Oh and he also said that if I would "fuck" that I would just "lay there and take it" which also made me uncomfortable too....

Seeing someone else being kink and sex positive is a breath of fresh air typically these videos are like "people that draw and consume NSFW are just all pervs and gross pigs and should touch grass"
I totally understand that Ace people are valid and can understand but a lot of them (from my personal experiences, not saying as a generality) have a "holier than thou" approach to the subject so I really appreciate you for not being like that
On the topic of IRL NSFW I really can't wrap my head around how some people think it's okay to ship/draw nsfw of IRL people or their characters without consent especially if the creator stated that they aren't comfortable with it. As you've said, they could just take a fictional character or even make their own, it really isn't that hard.

Im an ace that is sex positive but I have never really seen other aces that act like that…I’m sorry that was your experience though.
I as an horror/gore artist and sfw artist, i have never used or related nsfw art for dark theme content and only see it as well "ya know what" i mostly prefer to label horror and gore as either that or dark theme content along with tagging it as 18+ theme if it's extreme then the normal 13+ to 16+ mild horror/gore content.
Nsfw to me will always be the "that stuff" because it's mostly targeted as not okay in work places then other stuff like violence, depending on such content.
Carrying on i really don't like when people draw nsfw of actual people, mostly when those who goes against the wishes of others and draw them anyway, when they clearly stated they were not comfortable with, if someone were to draw me/my sona in such a manner i would get highly uncomfortable and extremely violated due to me being a CSA/SA survivor so having people draw me anything like that would trigger my ptsd and the thoughts of my SA.

It’s honestly pretty disturbing that we have to tell people it’s not ok to draw nsfw of people who are uncomfortable with it. Common sense really doesn’t seem that common nowadays 😭
I honestly hate people that do that shipping irl people headcanon irl people even drawing nsfw of irl people it’s all so gross. Like imagine if someone is doing that to you it wouldn’t feel great at all being shipped with your friends and people drawing nsfw of you and your friends. All I say is just respect people’s boundaries when it comes to themselves and their artwork.

This video reminds me of the time I was looking for Dsmp fanfiction and I stumbled upon a fic about some creator (I don’t remember who, it was fundy or sm like that) r*ping Tubbo. It was a year or two ago, and it wasn’t properly tagged. It was rated general audiences💀😭
Remember peeps, the people who make those have spent years learning art, planned made and posted pictures like that, and not once in that process think its wrong, those type of people are sick. I dont get people nowadays :'(

I started drawing and selling NSFW material when I was 11 years old there was one customer who wanted to be friends with me but he was a manipulative horny creep preying on children he had a weird addiction to nsfw anime girls I finally realized he was manipulating me and blocked him
I appreciate you making a video about this cause we barely do talk about it and when we do it only comes to the shipping part so thank you for looking at everything and this is just a interesting discussion to have.

I find it a bit weird how people say "In my opinion drawing nsfw of minors is bad" it's illegal, not really an opinion based thing when the law all around the world says its illegal to draw minors in nsfw situations..
Unfortunately, it's not actually illegal in many countries and many states in the US, which kinda sucks. It certainly should be, but it is not illegal everywhere and someone is unlikely to be convicted for making it even in places where it IS against the law. Really shows how garbage the justice system is tbh.

Another example of two REAL LIFE creators being shipped and drawn NSFW of them when they were told it was uncomfortable was the whole Septiplier ordeal.
There was a creator named CartoonJunkie (Anyone reading this, do NOT go and harass them) who was very active in the Septiplier thing. They drew them a lot including NSFW. It eventually got so bad, from what I heard is that either Mark or Jack (or both idk) reached out to them and told them to stop but they went against their wishes. It got so bad Mark and Jack stopped collaborating as much because the chats were being filled with “SEPTIPLIER AWAYYYY!”
I’m not gonna lie, I was a Septiplier shipper and I did ship them heavily back in 2017-2018 when I was 12-13, but when I realized that they were uncomfortable and didn’t like being shipped I stopped.

Yeah, R34 is bound to happen (which is also followed up by R35 stating if it doesn't exist, then it will, and R34 follows after), but it doesn't mean that it's *always* gonna be a good thing, or it's done in respect of the wishes of creators. A commentor put it here already, but the Welcome Home fandom is a major example of this. The creator clearly doesn't want NSFW of their characters public (that's what I got when I heard of their boundaries), but with some of the artists I've stumbled across, they openly show or present NSFW/lewd artwork of characters like Julie and Wally anyway. Not a part of the fandom, just an outsider, but I find it disgusting that people won't respect the wishes of the creator.
It doesn't matter if 'it was bound to happen' or not, but some of the things made in R34/NSFW, and I'm not talking about the NSFW made to work in tandem with horror, is unethical, wrong and just so fricking weird
Yeah tbh it’s sad. Also the thing abt r34 people will disgustingly excuse things mostly when it’s called that bc “welcome to the internet XD” and it’s really disappointing. Like the rule by its self opens up a gate way for all kinds a people like how a purge lifts all laws..
and I’ll see so many people describe it as an unstoppable force when it IS and they just don’t know how to take action against something like that. Like when it happened to Jaiden animations. Tbh Idk their thoughts on it I would have to look back but I remember the comments had mostly a “who cares” mentality and even on saying “if she wants it to stop she can just ask” while the other comments are describing r34 as this unstoppable force that can’t be stopped at all.
Here me out but I don’t think it’s that hard to ASK FOR CONSENT no matter if it’s awkward or what you (as in the ppl drawing it) feel. I feel like people just not even trying is definitely going to lead to more r34 and eventually moral manners like asking for consent will get thrown out the window at least online. Some even say it might turn into a legal thing cause technically unwanted sexual attention is sexual harassment

What's your opinion on if an adult creator has adult OCs and does not want nsfw of them to be made? Do you think people should respect that artists wishes or that the characters belong to the public? I'm just worried when I get more popular people might not respect my wishes about my characters...
There are people who can respect it, but their are some who won't. Take Clown, the creator of Welcome Home for example

@Bushwhack-lmao_xD it's been so long I've changed my mind on the subject. I'm happy to receive almost any sort of fanart, and I often imply that my characters do have sex lives, so yeah. Also, I totally lied, I was NOT an adult creator when i wrote that. And I'm not going to seek out that type of fanaft of my characters, so i don't really mind. I honestly forgot I wrote this since I don't even really watch rots videos anymore(no hate, obv)
Y'know, I'm tackling this subject from a philosophycal stance. I'm not gonna draw nor probably consume most of the art related to this, but is just a challenge for my psyche. I can see your points regarding minor creators as a no-no, and the same with respecting adult creators. But the thing that drives me crazy, the thing that has made me stare into the void for hours, is the one regarding OCs. Specially OCs of authors that aren't favorable towards them. On one hand, it is true that the creator might want to keep his creation in a certain way, and doesn't want it to be corrupted. But on the other, I Can't stop thinking that the creation is now of all of us. We criticise game companies when they take down innofensive fangames, but why not this? I personally think that nsfw stuff of OCs is valid, but I might change views. This is a complex issue, and one that im both delighted and trapped into analyzing more and more. Nsfw conundrums like this or the loli-nsfw one will be truly enigmas to be reconned with.
The difference, though, is between being owned by a company rather than by an individual person.

Not much to say but agree. when it comes to lewd art of my own characters it both comes down to being asked first or checking the ocs permissions. I mostly have it so that if it isn't stated don't draw it.

honestly, regarding the whole underage stuff... i think it's fine if it's not a real person. the whole reason that csem is bad is because it's exploiting a child that can't consent... and that doesn't apply to a drawing. i still find it gross, and i think there are a lot of gross people that consume it, but i'm just. anti censorship. and i've seen people who cope with those very real paraphilic thoughts through that fiction; there's no good way to legislate art like that anyway.

when i was like 10 i made my persona a 18 yo mostly bc I wanted to make them have crop tops without being harassed abt them being young and not suited for the outfits never had nsfw drawn of it most likely bc it was a gacha character and I had like 2 followers I have more than 100 now the acc I used it gone away from my pintrest I prob made no sense 😃
My opinion, yes I draw NSFW art, but I never, EVER draw porn of any real person. I just can't bring myself to draw that kind of art of a real human. And I don't think anyone else should either, yeah I'm the same as you in that I'm very sex-positive and very pro R-18 content, I just can't do that myself. I don't crap on others for doing that as long as the subject is OK with it (And they're over 18), but I won't ever draw that kind of stuff. I'll do any fictional character as long as the creator is OK with it (And yes, if they're over 18). And yes, I'm trans too. My main character that I draw is basically just me in cartoon form.

Hi! My pronouns are he/him and I am a trans man, and since you’re genuinely seeking knowledge, I’ll do my best to explain. A man who wears feminine clothing is just that, a man who wears feminine clothing. They don’t necessarily need to be a femboy or a drag queen to do so, they could also just be a dude who likes dresses. I would personally refrain from calling people femboys in general (unless given permission to do so), because the term tends to have a sexual connotation and some people find it a bit offensive. Hope that helps clear things up. :]

Oh yeah, just to let you know, I call my subs a lot of things: fellow degenerates, maggots, babygrills, boys, etc. All of them are intended to be gender neutral. So when I say "babygrills" or "boys" I'm not referring to just women or just men. Kind of like how "dude" has become a gender neutral term! Hope that quells some discomfort!

Loved the art and the video but I think it's a little strange to call anti shippers pearl clutching Karens. In my experience, most of them just want to keep creeps out of their fandom.
Though I know a lot of anti-shippers are relatively normal, there's a loud group of them that cancel and harass people over perfectly legal and normal art like mine that contains dark, uncomfortable themes and gore. Hence why I called them pearl-clutching Karens who like to cancel and harass, especially because many of them like to police what people can and can't draw/ship when the content they're policing is not illegal or breaking any sort of law. Seen way too many people get cancelled for drawing things related to mental health or sh scars or drawing things like general NSFW or suggestive art.
