    I am LeRoy E. Lewis birthday June14, 1922 Portsmouth, Ohio I served in the Merchant Marine from Oct. 1942 to April 1945 on board the Gasoline Tankers the SS Oregon Trail, the SS Alcoa Pennant and the Victory Cargo Leonidas Polk following previous service in the U S Army Air Corps during 1942 for which I received an Honorable Medical Discharge.
    I made trips to the South Pacific Theater of War and to the Middle East Theater of War at Khorramsashr, Iran . I am very glad that I was able to help do my part.
    LeRoy E. Lewis now retired in Columbia, S C from the U.S. Forest Serv9ice.

    My Dad. Kenneth F. Todd,Sr (5/20/1912) was a MM in the ‘40s. I have one of his Tags (on my daily key chain )from 1944. He was a Cook. He told me the stories. We are Civilian Patriots.

    I see Mary Pickford's name on the list. Wasn't she still alive at the time?
