It's an experience. Unlike After Hours where you could sorta pick and choose the best songs from the bunch, I really feel like Dawn FM is something you have to listen to all the way through to get the best experience from. The way Abel has crafted a world in an album is incredible.

Like many said in the comments, Dawn FM is a grower. What I love about the Weeknd's last two projects is how I can listen to the album from start to finish without skipping a single song. Yess there is some highlights, but overall the two projects are very solid, the production is amazing, the transitions are so well done and the vibe from start to finish is consistant. Dawn FM is my favorite of the two albums but they are both great. Less than Zero grew on me so hard. It's definitely my favorite The Weeknd track. Great thing is He announced that After Hour and Dawn FM are the two first albums of a new trilogy. Can't wait for the third one.
i'm more of a casual weeknd fan and i think is my favourite album from him. the 80s sound is so well executed here and it sounds so authentic. couple that with some really catchy songwriting, a good tracklist with transitions, and some well-made interludes/skits, and I think you have his most focused work to date

Been waiting on this video since the album dropped. Honestly fans should've known shit wasn't gonna be the same after BBTM but Starboy should've sealed the deal on that. Personally I love both the old shit and the pop music so as long as the music keeps being good I'm fine.
