- Watch as NRA’s American Rifleman examines an AR-15 from Springfield Armory 👇👇
In 2019s Springfield Armory came to market with enhancements to its line of AR-15-style rifles-the Saint Victor series. Lighter and trimmer weighing in at 6.9 lbs., the Victor chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO includes receivers forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and features the company’s Accu-Tite system. A Melonite-treated 16” barrel is paired with a low-profile, mid-length gas system and capped with a ported and baffled muzzle brake. A 15” handguard ending with short run of Picatinny rail on its top freely floats the gun’s barrel and contains M-LOK slots for accessories. Spring-loaded flip-up sights come standard.
The Saint Victor’s internals include a Melonite-treated M16 bolt-carrier group and nickel-born-coated single-stage trigger group. Springfield provides a GI-style charging handle and leaned on Bravo Company to provide its Mod 0 buttstock, Mod 3 grip and guard for the receiver’s trigger. “Springfield’s Victory stands out to me as a duty-ready personal defense-style rifle, there’s everything you need and nothing you don’t.”

I got one of these babies two weeks ago. Really smooth and really accurate, great for the price. Highly recommend
Same but I went with the edge and now I'm waiting for my Red dot to get here to pair with it. Love it so far. CONGRATULATIONS!
Where did you get it. Ive been looking for one but unable to find .
@@swayfn298 I picked up a saint Victor at turners outdoorsman for about 1199
@@swayfn298 i won auction at gunbroker with 1190 without FFL feed.
Just bought mine a couple days ago..
I own a matching pair of Saint Victors in 556 and 308. Ohhh baby! They are smoooth shooters. Love them!
Is the 556 version direct impingement?
Anabel and Ralph - Yes.
@Matthew Johnson- I have had the .556 Saint FF for a little over a year, just added a Nikon P-223 to it this week. Like yourself, I’m going to the .308 Victor in the very near future. These guns are loaded with the necessities from BCM and a pleasure to run.
Just bought mine today can't wait for it to be in my hands!!!
i own the .308 version. an absolute joy out of the box. well made. Great shooter
Just bought mine. These components for the price with Springfield quality assurance. Plus American made!
I've had a Saint for awhile. Just picked up the saint victor with the B5 stock. I love it!!
Just picked up mine Saint Victor today. It’s More than I expected! Love it!
How do you like the saint victor?
I purchased this rifle for $865 after taxes in Jan. Of this year. This gun now is knocking on the 2k range because of the climate the country is in. Guns are a valuable investment all around, either it be for protection, keeping governments in check, or for a solid $$$ return.
Just bought my Saint Victor...I cant wait to take her to the range
First gun I ever bought, love the hell out of it, just think my hand rail is a bit crooked as I have to adjust my rear sight to the left pretty decently but man it’s sweet
I enjoyed shooting some rounds through mine yesterday. Great value for the money spent.
Just purchased one can’t wait to try it
Love this rifle so easy to add and upgrade
I'll be picking mine up in May as my graduation present to myself
I have one... and I LOVE it
Love my saint Victor pistol
Nice vid! I just got my Saint Victor today. I have never owned an AR style rifle. I Held and handled several MSR's in the store and i just kept coming back to the saint. I liked the weight the most. Very light and balanced when i compared it to the others. I also love the BC stock. I like how tight it is.
This wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. It came with 2 poly 30rd mags, and a nice carry bag.
I am looking forward to having lots of fun with this rifle.
TODD FINK two mags, wtf did my store screw me on one? Anyways well worth the money (1000). Has most of the things I wanted and I paired it with a vortex sight. Can’t keep my hands off of it.
TODD FINk- I’m not far behind you! Got the Saint in .556 and LOVE it!!
Any issues so far? Only ran like, 2mags worth of assorted 556 with a tactical bro and it functioned great!
This will definitely be my first Ar15 can’t wait
Can’t wait for mine to come. Just ordered it from buds
waiting to get mine
Just got one in FDE. Can’t wait for it to come in!
My first gun is Saint Victor B5 version 5.56, very pleased with it!! (I’m looking at maybe getting their 11.5 barrel saint edge pistol in 5.56 but not sure since I hear they are even very louder so I may get it but will have to get a suppressor)
I’m close to getting mines very very soon.
Picking this model up this coming Saturday, can't wait.
Scored a Saint Victor AR pistol in .223/5.56 about a month ago. While technically still a "pistol" because of the "arm brace" instead of stock, I still regard this gun as an NFA friendly SBR cousin absent the need for the $200 stamp. I can legally roll with it loaded and ready to go in my car with it's designation as a "pistol" in my state.... GREAT rugged gun and my first ever AR15 platform firearm.......
I would consider it the same as well and may get one too. Is it pretty loud? I have a 16” b5 saint victor in 5.56 and feel it’s pretty loud, I’ll most likely be starting the long process of getting a suppressor.
Just got the saint edge.
just bought it
Great at and plenty for your money. Red dot is all you need
Yup that’s exactly what I have too!
I just picked it up one Communifornia style I was deciding between this and DD which was 800 more. This will be my 1st AR hope I didn't make a mistake Ive seen a lot good review on this
And we know Daniel Defense ain't no Joke
I figure I could grab a DD if I get good at operating the saint or maybe I won't need too 😁
I got the 308 version and DD are great but as this my first AR also , I will train up to a DD and save
These are $1125 at Turners in Cali
Awesome 😎
Just bought one
Honest Outlaw tested the SA Saint Victor (BCM Furniture) and had several misfeeds & jams with .223 55GR from Federal & Fiocchi ammo. Winchester 5.56 green tip & some high end semi jacketed shot well. Some jams were a “B” to trouble shoot. How did your first 100-200 rounds go. I just picked one up over going BCM Recce (I’ll be grabbing the 11” shortly) for $949!
Yea I've seen that review,I believe he just got a bad rifle or it was probably under gassed, because I have one with the magpul furniture and it shoots perfect, love it,couldn't ask for a better ar rifle...
Honest Outlaw...puleese!...LMAO.
He did say that he was never a fan of Springfield, so he has an automatic bias.
Yeah I would have liked to see a follow up video considering the overwhelming praise this rifle has been receiving.
Not so honest "outlaw" is a certified Glocktard and Springfield hater.hes the same bozo who said the hellcat wasnt good???! Gtfoh lolol
I still like my mine which is the 2nd gen or the first free float saint.
Cool.
I got one 3 weeks ago.
I just picked up mine a couple days ago so far I have to say that I’m absolutely thrilled with it. If someone could help me tho I’d very much appreciate it I’m planning on buying a nightstrike diamondback angled grip due to limitations in jersey. I need to know what rail system I have to buy in order to attach it on my victor. Whoever could answer thank you
What’s the difference between the Victor and the Edge?
I can get a black one but the FDE is what I want and I can’t find it anywhere :(
Lubri cious
So I’m left handed, and very new to the whole gun world. Is it possible to reverse the buttons for the bolt lock, mag eject, safety, etc...?
Yes!
It's possible if you swap parts with aftermarket parts.
I'm left-handed and shoot a right handed ar with no issues
@@jamesalexander3547 same here brother.
Yeah. Looks like that fella really knows how to shoot...(thumb amongst the barrel sights) I can't take this video seriously now. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
The sights are high enough to see over his thumb. Additionally, that hand position minimizes barrel rise.
Hard to take Jesse masters seriously. Some idiots speak without experience or thinking. This guys did both
Nice thing to buy with stimulus check...Thanks trump!
Kelbini 76 I bought my with credit card and using that to pay it off hahaha
Bama Made thank you, 🤣 they saying it like it’s something to be proud of
Do i have to change the barrel nut if i want to change the handguard?
Due to all the crazy shit happening around the country with riots and all. I'm breaking my piggy bank to get a defense rifle. I'm between this Victor 5.56 vs Ak47. I'm familiar with the use of the AK due to being dummy proof but I hate the kick recoil and that they are not accurate but good for spraying . I never used a AR platform but I heard that they don't kick hard recoil wise and they are very accurate. But my fear is not having a rifle to protect my business and household in case of a kenosha like event. And not to mention that in case of a civil war the AR platform would be difficult to maintain. I have a shotgun and glock but they are not for conflict more for one on one defensive action. Again I'm new to the whole AR 15 rifle is it reliable? And easy to clean. ? And operate?? Any pointers will help. Otherwise I'm just going to jump into an AK47 I used to clean them with transmission oil in Mexico and they never ever would jamm or break down and old how simple that are to use...thanks in advance. And vote TRUMP 2020...
Not sure what you wound up getting but will say I got the 5.56 B5 Saint Victor 16” and felt it didn’t have much recoil if any really (I’m female and a new gun owner so recoil matters a lot to me, I don’t want a gun that is very hard to control) maybe the muzzle break helps with that but will say it’s a bit loud.
Dude I’m headed to the range right now to fire this bad boy!
You can't go wrong with an AK. And the recoil is not any worse than an AR.
And don't believe the myth that and AK is inaccurate.
You mind if I borrow I couple of them rounds?
Which optic is best ?
Is a muzzle brake louder than standard flash hider?
Yes, much louder.
The brake definitely is louder at the shooter's position (and especially to either side of the rifle). Considering how mild 5.56/.223 recoil is, I've been considering replacing the brake with a flash suppressor.
Is that picatinny rail up front? Or just in the rear?
Hey Jake the rail is only on the rear and it’s a good rail, but there isn’t one on the front, you can add one of course this At-15 is sick!!!!
I have one of these and there is a short section of picatinny rail just under the front sight. The Saint Victor is an excellent rifle and everything I could ask for in an AR15.
dumb question, my parents tried keeping me away from firearms (i was a republican in a liberal home...childhood sucked) and im still relatively new to them, Does this take 5.56x45 NATO or 5.56x51!?!?!?!
Silentwolf I believe they come in 5.56x45 and also in .308
@ Silent Wolf - chambered in .556 will also take the .223. I run both through my Saint and can’t tell any difference.
Did your parents take you for an MRI to see if you have the typical brain defects of a right winger? Unfounded incessant fear and anxiety, lack of common sense & critical thinking skills, locked into simplistic linear thinking? They must have been excellent parents not to drop you off by the side of the road.
Hope you bought a Saint. Excellent firearms for the price point.
5.56x45 or 223 but there’s other versions like 308
i cant find one anywhere??...
larry
I just got one at fin feather and fur in Ohio.
Frontier Justice may have one
Yeah it was hard for me too, I wound up getting a B5 5.56 Saint Victor at www.gunbuyer.com/springfield-223-saint-victo-16-sprstv916556b-b5-d.html otherwise the purchase went well with fast shipping to my ffl but have seen them available elsewhere just gotta keep checking.
Palmetto state armory has many
The store that I worked for sold about 50 of these a month. One of our best sellers with very few complaints. I firmly belive that this gun gets the hate that it gets because its performs above its price point. Ill be honest with you. If Im making commission I dont mind selling you a higher priced gun but in reality I want you comming back to me because I didn't sell you something that you didn't need.
