@@LynetteAdkins Hi Lynette, I am from india, and belong to a place very close to rishikesh itself. Just wanted to let you know , that the room you had and the building you were living in, is pretty basic in nature, to it was bound to be a lilltle uncomfortable. Generally people here prefer more comfortable options when it comes to rooms, transportation, food etc. But, since your purpose of coming to rishikesh was yoga, its better if the very basics of life is experienced, because in US and in upper indian society, the basic life is very comfortable, so for us to get back to the very basics of living and eating, a little uncomfort helps us to grow . But, if you ever plan to travel in india, please do bookings in good hotels, eat at good resturants. street side food etc is not suitable for everyone, and do travel to Himachal Pradesh, Uttarkhand, Norteast india, Rajasthan, Kerela, Maharashtra. Please dont travel to Delhi, Mumbai or any of the metro cities..Love you...loved the vid.
This video was beautiful, the perseverance, bonding, embracing yourself fully, going through every emotion, completion and the scenic views. Love that for you it’s like we’re following you doing all these sidequests and finding fulfillment and it’s inspiring to say the least. P.S your natural/no makeup self is beautiful, keep striving.
Every time I watch your videos it's like I discover new parts of myself, you show me that I actually CAN do the things I never imagined I could, thank you for being such an inspiration this was beautiful
Dude I’m Indian American and props to you for living there for a month! Definitely the living style, food, culture and environment is super different, but still lovable!
@@nr-tx9bo the superiority complex in you guys is insane. 1.4 billion people live here and we aren’t complaining. Also no one shoots at you in the supermarkets here.

Im Indian introvert too not rich... But leaving happy life with my family & my surrounding. Only those Indians who dream to live western life are forced not all
Yasss Hitomi is amazing!✨️I'm interested in deepening my practice as well. I'm going to start at home until I'm in the place to receive training like this❤ I love this wave of healers and spiritual leaders. Makes me grateful to be living in this time although the world seems to be dissolving into chaos at the moment. Thank you for sharing your experience with us and for being a light in this world.
I probably commented this before but I will say it again, I really enjoy following your journey. Thanks for sharing it and being so transparent and vulnerable.
I literally was just watching Hitomi’s video!!! It’s so funny how I watched her before you and you are both on the same program! Love this! Thanks for sharing! I’m thinking about attending.
I think also you being overwhelmed the day before the exam was also testament to how badly you wanted to get your certification and succeed. I am happy for you and you are an inspiration.
Congratulations 💖✨ the yoga is showing up each day and still finding softness and grace with yourself if you don't have full energy to give. This is incredible! You are incredible!
I love the way you respect the culture of the places you visit, and how you want to dress up to their traditions or at least to what’s modest for them, I think that’s beautiful of you ❤
So dope how you had the feeling to detach from technology a little more and your friend at first shy is detached from it. You gained more peace from recognizing that, and throughout the vlog she gains more confidence being more open to share. Both of you gained such balance!
Ive been following your journey for a while and you have been such an inspiration to me. I love your commitment to doing what makes you happy, even if its out of the norm for society. I actually just bought a one way ticket to Thailand and planning on doing a few months there as well as Bali & Japan for the cherry blossom festival! Thanks for being your authentic self, and encouraging others (whether you know it or not) to be themselves as well
This is soooooo freakn dope!! Congrats to you boo! I watch Hitomi too and i love her so much but i also love how you showed us another side of how hard it actually was. Super proud of you!! You: “i feel like we just got out of prison” 😂😂😂 took me outttt lol 😝
Hey Lynette. I'm in love with your videos. You floated in my algorithm like 2 years ago when I started a spiritual awakening. Thank you for being you and following your intuition. I've noticed that you're often apologizing for your looks, your space and I just want you to know that you're perfect the way you are. I honestly don't think about it until you say it! Your face, these videos TRULY remind me that I'm unlimited and I can do anything. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I hope you are bed watching Love Island.
I love love this! I study Ashtanga too and I although it’s soo challenging it’s soo rewarding at the same time. It’s transformative for your mental and physical well-being. It will pay off!
The last sentence before the outro was everything 😂 I just completed my 200 hour YTT this summer. It’s a rewarding feeling. So happy and proud of you!! 🦋
That is amazing. I felt all the emotions you were going through. You never gave up and allowed us to see you when you were energized and when you were struggling. Thank you. What a journey
I just found your channel and wanted to say Lynette you are truly a beautiful soul! your sense of yourself, your journey and intuition of knowing what you need is spot-on! so refreshing to see young women vloggers who are charting new paths outside what's "normal" in a capitalist, commercial society. just wanted to share that your thoughts, ideas and wisdom are valid and valued. Namaste friend ❤
This was amazing! I love Hitomi- had no idea you watched her too! I loved watching this video and seeing your experience, I’m so proud of you pushing through!
Lynette, may I suggest you check blood levels of Vitamin D, Magnesium lack of these nutrients can cause moderate to severe anxiety, mood swings. Green foods(e.g. romaine, broccoli, kale, green apple) contain magnesium and chlorophyll which help stabilize the neurological system(e.g. nerves).
I went to Rishikesh in November 2023 for YTT and you make me wish I had documented more ❤ so thank you for doing so and sharing your journey. I recognize a lot of the streets and shops and it warms my heart to see them again even tho it’s virtual 🤳 it truly changed my life and transformed my perspective. Namaste 🌸
This is truly an awesome adventure!!! It had its trials but at the end it was worth the hassle. If it were easy everybody would do it. Thanks for taking us along your journey. Take care and be in good health.
this beautiful video and the changes you've been making are so inspiring!! i'm reminded of the importance of mindfulness and the beauty in the simple things in life. wishing you the best on your journey
I got my 200hr in 2014. I practiced ashtanga prior to taking a ashtanga YTT. It is intense, exhausting and almost downright emotionally draining, BUT it can be a complete reset for the entire mind, body and spirit to build a new foundation. I always tell new teachers that 200hr is just scratching the surface, there are so many more layers to balance the teacher student with in us. Always remember to be a students of self. svadhyaya ( the practice of self ) is always playing out in our daily lives. Congratulations on your journey 🤍
I'm not even sure how I am subbed to this channel but I'm thankful lol. I am in the process of finalizing my YTT online but I've been wanting to go to Bali to complete it. Can't front in my dreams I see myself playing as a kid at the Taj so maybe I will look into India as well. Thanks for this. You're dope.
